if no exit is found and Jackal is still conscious:
B1) Jackal drinks from the red fountain
if no exit is found and Jackal is unconscious:
B2) EF combines the liquids and drinks it

if no exit is found after this then CR backtracks to box 1?

Isn't red usually a health bar or portions?

Red is generally a health bar, yes. Green I'm not so sure about.

Green is movement, sometimes?

That points towards the idea of drinking green. Should we all do so in that case?

Stupid early file work. Way too late for me to contribute here.

You guys have hit on most of the points I had been thinking, with drinking one of the liquids being the best option. Maybe even drinking both (one of us drinks one, one of us drinks the other). Too bad we don't have an empty flask (one was for sale at the shop).

I don't like the idea of going back. I don't see a benefit worth doing so, at the cost of losing time. Unless we have no choice, of course.

BTW, I was think red light-green light, too.

But, FWIW, while green means poison, red often means danger. I don't know we can make a good read either way.

I didn't know what to make of the symbols. Weird that we can make out the sun-moon, but not the ones on the other fountain.

Maybe that's the hint? The muddled symbols==confusion. The sun-moon==clarity (clear as night and day)?

In that case, I would drink from the sun-moon fountain, if we drink from one.

Well, too late to switch things now, but I think as long as the green fountain doesn't kill me the time wasted by drinking that first if it isn't the correct choice won't be too terrible.

Just then, smoke begins to spread from somewhere around the fountain. A tiny Imp materializes out of it. He smiles at you.

He wishes you luck on your journey and hands Jackal a Medallion of Evil. You're not sure what it does, but the Imp assures you that it will help you.
