Cheers Guys.
I've gotten to the age where I tend to ignore my birthdays and get my vicarious birthday thrills through my kids. But thank you anyway. |

Autumn, PM Abe and tell him that the game is based on some obscure D&D ruleset. That should hook him in.

Awesome. I'm going to conscript Jackal then, unless someone comes to steal his spot this evening.
Narc, I wish I could get them out tonight, but I'm going to be out at a friend's (playing Fiasco, which is awesome). If I happen to get back early and am awake I will try, but they likely won't go out until during the day tomorrow. |

I will see what I can do about tonight though. So please be ready for a possible start tonight and a Monday 9 pm EST deadline. If I dont get back soon enough tonight, first deadline will be Tuesday 9 pm and roles will go out in the morning.

I still have a hard time wrapping my head around some of these games, but I'm off of school, so I have some time.

All right, I'm going to sign Jackal up and end signups. I'll work on getting roles out now.
I will post here when roles are all out and game has begun. |

I just realized Hoops is not playing. Voting him was my reason for signing up, so I am out.

Allow me to remind everyone of a few things.
Read the rules! This game will include conversion of players from one team to the other. The spirit of the game is to play for the side you are currently on. So while an Infected has a chance of being cured and brought back to the other side, they should try to make all decisions while Infected with the benefit of the Evil team in mind. Read the rules! Deadlines will be 9pm EST for lynch vote, 10pm EST for Night actions. Reasonable conditional orders will be accepted. There are no roles or rules that are not spelled out on the first page. Feel free to ask for clarifications of rules, it's quite a different set. |

All roles have been sent. Please let me know if you didn't get one, or have any questions.
Game is on. First deadline is Monday, 9 PM EST. Last edited by Autumn : 06-04-2012 at 12:11 AM. |

It's alright everyone! I'm here to save the day.
There are 4 evils - Mummy, 2 transformed and the cultist. The Mummy knows who the other three are, the transformed know each other and, I guess, the cultist doesn't know any of the others. Autumn, does the cultist know the identity of any of the other evils? Anyroad. I've a feeling that this is going to be a role-driven game. And there is no bodyguard so we need to avoid having anyone reveal. So we should just lynch bad guys or, at a pinch vanillas. |

I was tempted by the idea that a no-lynch would be the best policy on day one, but in retrospect I don't think so.
Positives to no lynch: Avoid pressuring roled villagers into a reveal Mummy can double an evil vote, so has better chance of steering a vote Multiple conversion possibilities make voting records less useful Negative to no lynch: Nothing to go on on day one, thus not much for the seers and seer-lites to work with Evil have incomplete information on each other so they will be less able to save themselves if we luck onto a baddy. I think that the negatives outweigh the postives in this (and most other) cases. The Mummy double vote probably means that we need to create some space between the vote winner and second-place. People around at deadline will have to step up - I bet nickle to dimes that the mummy would love to turn a village-village contest into a tie to get us chasing our tails for a turn or two. |

That's a plan I can get behind, though I think it's better if we lynch a bad guy. Only 10% odds of picking a Transformed today, but if we get lucky, we can take one out before they infect anyone. There are going to be all sorts of irregularities with voting since the Mummy is able to boost a bad guy's votes and infected people don't have a vote until they make a night kill (though we won't have to worry about that today). I think there was another voting oddity but I can't recall. |

Hopefully the business with infected not getting a vote will help us/the nurses narrow down the field on the infected.
Not actually 10% chance of getting a transformed of course, as the other transformed and the double-voting mummy might be able to help out but still. Better yet (almost) 5% chance of finding the mummy. |

For now, I'll just pick on people who have stated something about the rules incorrectly to see if they're trying to lead us astray.
VOTE DANNY That said, we have a 15% chance of success (between the two transformed and the cultist), which is pretty meager. So if I help make a no-lynch happen later in the day, I'm okay with that. |

a) wolves are less likely to post/make rule slip-ups. b) ~20% chance of success. Even if we can't lynch the Mummy we can find out that they are the mummy, which is pretty useful. Look! Irony! c) You will NOT help a no lynch vote happen, thank you very much. |
