Just got out of class early, it was supposed to run till 7. Anyway I pretty well aced the final and didn't break a leg walking there Anyway, you are just pissed off b/c I outted you last game. I don't believe you are a wolf this game, but being the first to cast a second vote is exactly what a wolf wouldn't do. They would try to bury their vote, spread it out, they would not jump the gun on day 1. It makes no sense, you sir, need to go back and take werewolf 101. Quote:
I don't appreciate your use of big words in a werewolf game, but that aside your logic is flawed. Did I make assumptions that can't be proven? Yes, but I narrowed it down using my logic. Kill me tonight and the villagers lose one of their best assets. I now see why bad players and newbies are trying to pile on me. I'll take your votes more serious when a good player throws his vote on me. As is, it helps no one by spreading our vote out. It makes more sense to have a 2 or 3 person bandwagon on day 1, spread the votes evenly and dare someone to make a move. That flushes the wolves out. And if by chance one of the people that are in the group is a wolf, when he is later lynched it makes it so much easier to go back to this vote and see who didn't vote for him. Now I'm off to get ready for a party.

Well, I don't want to be lynched (as it appears I will be), but as a villager, if the villagers win, I win. So hopefully you all get some good info out of the vote.

WVU, you can't edit that post. You have to make your vote without editing.

Sorry. I'm brand new at this. :-(
I vote Dubb93. I thought we had to bold it, so I had edited it to add the bold. Again, apologies. :-) |

After a day that began suspiciously quiet, finger pointing began as the sun made the turn in the sky. By the end of the day, the group had centered around st.cronin. They carried him to the gallows, where he was hanged. The village waited, anticipating his change into a devilish werewolf. But it never occured, and it's revealed that st.cronin was merely a regular villager.

It is now Night(1). Players with night actions please have them in by the deadline. The deadline for Night(1) is Monday, December 19th @ 10am.

Back and not drunk...
Sucks that we didn't get a wolf tonight, but even more troubling is the lack of activity. Nothing to go by so far, at all other than the votes. And they really don't tell me anything at this point. I guess we can start plowing through the guys that voted for Cronin, that would be as good a place as any to start.

I think everyone is playing the quiet game so far. With a lengthy weekend, I expect it to continue to be as quiet. I think the holidays are also affecting the game.

I agree. It might not be ideal, but I think maybe we'll end up doing a Monday-Thursday next week, then a while off, maybe even the holidays (as I'm moving right around New Year's myself). I don't know if it'll have lost so much momentum by that time to even bother, though...

Well, that was weird. I suspected kingfc22 was a wolf due to his swing vote for the lynch. I wonder why the wolves would go for him...

Maybe because no one voted for him -- lack of info strategy. That would make me suspect the wolves scattered their votes around.

agreed- and you can see from my track record in these games I'm an active player. I missed one vote. A lot less than many other "vet" players over all in all the games there are. Remember I had to replace 2 players for lack of participation in the game I ran (one was banned from the board for a time too). So I know it hurts the team. I'll I can say is let's get some wolves now. |

This is the most important thing you said, we are down 2 right now, so lets get this action going, and Barkeep, in defense of sndvls and blade, they both stated before the weekend that they were going to be out of touch for 3 days because of their preplanned commitment. |

actually I did not say I'd be out of touch. I thought with a Thurday start I'd at least get in a day 1 vote, but it turns out that Night 0 was due by Friday @ 10 AM. We left my house in south Chandler, Az @ 8 AM to take the 1 year old to get her one year shots. Then we left to head to Flagstaff, had to be there by 2 PM so hence I missed the day one deadline.....anyhow thanks for trying to defend me, but I can not accept it. I erred in thinking I'd make a day 1 vote in time and didn't bottom line. Again we've started to get some talk going, let's get some wolves quickly. |

I know this is to be expected from me at some point, but I think we need to really look at all the talking dubb did yesterday, and specifically, what he was saying. he had several posts talking about what a wolf would do, and what a wolf wouldnt do. That can be interpreted in two ways....
1. he was trying to educate the newer players in the game 2. he was trying to hide himself by seeming to educate the newer players in the game, when in fact, he is a wolf himself. seems to me that it would be a great strategy for a wolf to come out to all the new guys in this game as a mentor type, insuring that they would never think that he was a wolf and never vote to lynch him, and if a vote did swing towards him, he could just say "look at all the help i was giving you all game". this theory also explains why king got whacked last night, as he is usually very good at picking up on people and very active in posting. this is just a theory, but it makes more sense than anything else i can make of yesterday.
