You and dawgfan rock ! Just remember, Fools Gold was only on the American version. The original, british version, ended with "I am the Resurrection." Not a bad ending in itself. However, "Fools Gold" is beyond compare.

No way- you're full of all flavors of crazy (and you also left off The Night Santa Went Crazy among others. Genius in France is pedestrian, at best) SI

I saw them in Denver. They closed the show with Rocket Queen. They had live strippers come up on each end of the stage and got topless. |

I thought "Happy Trails" was a nice touch on Diver Down. May not be one of the best songs, but a good closer all the same. edited - Nevermind, I see it has been listed. Should have read the whole thread, oh wells. Last edited by Grammaticus : 09-14-2008 at 09:11 PM. |

I've always thought that Pink Floyd (esp. during the Roger Waters years of course) put a lot of care in their albums' last tracks. Many times the last track was a summation of the album's theme, and often very moving lyrically, and sometimes musically as well.
Consider "Outside the Wall" for a perfect example. Or "Two Suns in the Sunset" for one that's as powerful lyrically, but the music helps make it into a song which could stand on its own. |

You'll find the second half below the video at the end along with four other tracks from what is arguably Dylan's best album If nothing else hear the harmonica solo halfway through the second part and/or at the very end. It sends shivers down the spine. Last edited by Mac Howard : 09-16-2008 at 02:08 AM. |
