I wanted to get to the end of the contract to see what the offer is and ask the readers their opion i will add in the matches later

top 500 we were used on every PPV so we qualified and came in at #13 (is that a sign of bad things to come)

and we got taxed 5,775 dollars

we invenst in a medium sized gym and a bar

we get the offer it is a 2 year written contract for 16,995 dollars a month

For the people still reading this dynasty do you think we should take the offer or see if we can make a name for CS in the States. I kinda want to work at a promotion that has a weekly TV show. The problem is our overness in the US is still 50 and i doubt any of the main players will be interested in CS just yet.

If we go out there and don't find the work we could be putting ourselves in postion for an early retirement.

It looks like your overness in the States went up even though you only wrestled in Japan. Why not stay another year and improve your chances of getting a good position stateside? It would suck to see all that hard work go to waste by going for the big boys too early.

I agree that hooking up with a promotion that has a weekly TV show is the way to go. I would like to see CS head back to the US at some point but that doesn't have to be now. Is there any other way to safely increase your US overness so the big boys might be interested?

With our current federation being global(the largest in size) Colossal Squid's overness can go up if he keeps doing well. A weekly TV show though would give alot of exposure to him. Right now i am still getting by only pay 500 dollars a month living expenses(the cheapest) 2 years from now i don't think i will be able to survive with that lifestyle. As a matter of fact i am pretty sure that as soon as i accept this contract my lifestyle will need to change. I won't be able to go back to roughing it. Which means a bigger risk the longer we wait. It could make us one of those guys who wrestled in Japan but never made it in the USA.

i am leaning to accepting the contract i mean he will only be 26 when its over not like he will be over the hill(the 17k a month is a nice steady income)

although there may be something to wrestling guys who's name i can pronounce(although i am a hockey fan)

Spirit, Power, Stamina and Respect i think will keep increasing for big ugly.

I think Toughness and Looks are what they are.

The last few matches for CS have been toward the bottom of the card

If we keep doing well we may get a title shot during this contract.
Yoshimi Mushashibo is the current holder of both Glory and Japan singles titles he hasn't lost for almost 2 years and avenaged that loss right after it happened.

April PPV Hostile Intent Colossal Squid pins Raymond Diaz in 25 minutes for a B+ rated match

May PPV-Colossal Squid is given the night off

June PPV-Backstreat Battle Colossal Squid defeats Alexander Robinson in 21 minuts for a B+ rating

July PPV Though Shall Not-Colossal Squid and Yashiko Taira defeated Team Strength Rush in 25 minutes for a B rating

August PPV Break and Enter-Colossal Squid and Kiminobu Kuroki(team named Revenage Warriors) defeat Blackout for the PGHW Glory Tag Crown. Nice to have some gold again but i am not big into tag teams. 20 minute match that got a B rating.

Colossal Squid overness in Japan is now an 80. Another chance for us to get a match with a main eventer comes at the next PPV. Shuji Inukai a tough as nails who has made his name with a stiff technical style of wrestling. He is a former PGHW Glory champion and is 90 over in Japan. He is on a losing streak and has 29-44 overall record.

spirit-88
power-46
technique-77
speed-36
psychology-100
stamina-90
toughness-100
charisma-71
microphone-67
saftey-100
looks-68
respect-100

when the match starts all wrestlers have an Energy rating which is sorta like your health bar, Shuji has 950 energy(Dread is the only other guy i fought with a 900) while Colossal Squid has 670. When Colossal Squid first started wrestling he would have less than 100 so its not that big a deal. There are alot of factors that go into this (i think toughness plays a role as well as stamina and overness)

In 20 minutes of mayham Colossal Squid hits the Colossal Squid Slam for a big win and a B rated match.

CS hit
37 of 50 low level moves
7 of 8 med level moves
1 of 1 high level moves
1 of 1 finishers

Shuji Inukai hit
39 of 55 low level moves

I followed a tactic i developed when i fought Dread. I went with moves that caused the most damage. This seemed to make up the difference in energy that we had. I also was lucky to hit a Colossal Squid Slam on my first try. I was open to medium level moves but Shuji didn't get the chance to pull one off. A few medium level moves hit on you and your open for a high level move or finisher both of which can end the match.

Well 2 bad things happened first was Colossal Squid has been left off of the last 2 PPV events. He still gets paid but with only 1 event a month its the 3rd PPV this year he has missed. Colossal Squid needs as many matches as possible to keep raising his overness. Also Colossal Squid stamina has peaked at 81(which is not bad at all). Power is 84 and is not peaked so we will keep going there.

at the Japanese Peace Festival (December PPV) Colossal Squid is going against Dread he is currently 89 over so its a good chance for Colossal Squid here.

28 minutes and at the end it could have gone either way 2 Colossal Squid Slams were not enough to keep Dread down for a 3 count but a third Colossal Squid Slam ended the match. The match got a B+ rating and bumped up Colossal Squid overness in Japan to 85.

With only 9 matches this year i failed to qualify for the top 500 wrestlers

With the nice paycheck i am getting now i fall into the highest tax bracket(55%) and pay over 84k in taxes.

I still have 153k in savings right now. I also own a gym, bar, comic book store and a hotel (all of these can lose as well as make money). Instead of investing my money i am going to save it. When my contract is up this year it will allow me to decide to try again making it in the USA. I figure i can always come back to PGHW. Hopefully if i leave it will be on good terms.

In the January PPV Balls to the Wall-Colossal Squid for the first time in PGHW is in the main event. It is a rematch with Shuji Inukai(the tough as nails technical wrestler). He is currently 92 over in Japan so its a chance for Colossal Squid to get a bump in overness. Energy is 930 vs 690.

it took 5 count them 5 Colossal Squid Slams but in the end our hero was the winner after the third one Shuji did open up on offense and had a couple chances to get the win over Colossal Squid. Japan overness is now 86.

Taking a closer look at PGHW roster of wrestlers. They have 3 face and 3 heel main eventers(currently they see Colossal Squid as an upper midcard face) 3 heels are Dread(beat him twice), Shuji Inukai(beat him twice), and the Japan and Glory champion(he holds 2 belts) Yoshimi Mushashibo who isn't the most fighting champion i have ever seen but he hasn't lost a singles match in about 4 years(he has lost tag matches)

The current 3 main event faces are
1-Nobuatsu Tatsuko who is known as the iron man for putting on 60 minute matches and is one of the finest workers in Japan.

2-Mito Miwa he is a Middleweight wrestler who is famous for being able to tell a story due to his grasp of wrestling psychology in the ring. (he is also the last person to beat Yoshimi Mushashibo)

3-Eisaku Hoshino-is over due to his never say die attitude and ability to absorb a huge beating. He is also a favorite of the Owner Sadaharu Jimbo.

These 6 men are the only ones with higher overness than Colossal Squid. It seems the only thing left for Colossal Squid to do in PGHW is to beat the seemingly unbeatable Yoshimi Mushashibo and then do a heel turn and beat up all the good guys.

(by the way i am not making any of this up or taking any journalist liberties)

for the 2nd time in Colossal Squid career i am going to management asking for a match (i did it the first time to try to win back my 21CW title). I am going to request to feud with Yoshimi Mushashibo. Yoshimi Mushashibo rejects the feud as he doesn't think i am over enough to make it worthwhile. Now i am ticked. This 37 year old middleweight punk doesn't think i am worth his time. He is paper champion. If he fought more than 4 or 5 times a year he would be relagated to his proper mid card status(actually he is a total wrestling machine that the owner should use at every PPV). I storm out of the boss office mad as hell swearing if Yoshimi Mushashibo ever gets in the ring with me the only thing that will stop the beating i give him is the ref on a medical DQ.

Well i guess i gave myself some bad karma. There have been alot of matches that could have gone either way and Colossal Squid had found a way to win. Raymond Diaz kicked out of 3 Colossal Squid Slams (out of 15 attempted) to land 1 double underhook facebuster to get the win (although he did fail a submission move earlier in the match that could have possibly ended it then).

This was a match Colossal Squid should have won but didn't.

Adding insult to injury Yoshimi Mushashibo lost his PGHW Japan title to Nobuatsu Tatsuko (although he still has the PGHW Glory title). I was hoping Colossal Squid could end his long running undeafted streak.

Colossal Squid's overness goes down a point to 85. Raymond Diaz goes to 74.

The march PPV Hollyweird sees Colossal Squid in the main event once again this time vs Dread. 24 minutes again the match could have gone for either wrestler at the end but Colossal Squid got a win (it was deserved as Dread was in the Danger level of energy before Colossal Squid but i saw Dread miss his pattened Dread Splash which could have got him the win). The match did get a B+ rating and overness in Japan is now 87. Which is also the same as Dread now.

Yoshimi Mushashibo instead of fighting against me in the main event fought in the 2nd to last match in a tag team match of 4 of the main eventers. Pig dog coward.

Yeah the higher energy and stamina allows him to get to 20 minutes and usually by then you got a decent match. If anyone knows how to get an A rated match please let me know

well he is 95 over currently and i plan on beating him from pillar to post. The PGHW Glory Crown will be wrapped around Colossal Squid after tonight!

I put together a move package designed to do 1 thing. Break his freaking leg. I want to end this overrated punk career. Tell me i am not worth fighting.

At 21 minutes we have a new PGHW Glory Crown holder Colossal Squid. B rated match and Colossal Squid overness in Japan is now 89 (still only considered an upper midcarder in PGHW)

In the may PPV Night of Legends, it seems Yoshimi Mushashibo hasn't had enough of a beating so he is coming back to try to reclaim the title he has held on 3 prior occasions. His overness is now at 94. As far as Colossal Squid is concerned he could get the job done the first time he isn't going to get it done a second time. A win here could make Colossal Squid a main eventer in the owners eyes.

What a wuss at the 20 minute mark Colossal Squid hits the first Colossal Squid Slam of the match and gets the 3 count. I expected better from the best wrestler of his generation. The match gets a B+ rating. (in a more serious note this match was imho the best performance Colossal Squid has had so far in his career. He limited Yoshimi to 22 of 44 low level moves (luck of course was a factor) this match was never in question in fact i expected a kick out.

Colossal Squid overness hits 91 and is now considered a main eventer

the June PPV Backstreet Battle the main event is once again Colossal Squid vs Yoshimi Mushashibo. Yoshimi Mushashibo is down to 93 over in Japan. A loss here by Yoshimi Mushashibo may give someone else a shot at the strap.

23 minutes and a B rating and another win for Colossal Squid who is now 93 over in Japan.

In the July PPV we our left off the Card.

rundown of the 3 main even heels:

Dread did get a win and moved his overness to 89 and is listed as a main eventer again.

Yoshimi Mushashibo did wrestle and is 92 over.

Shji Inukai also had the month off his overness is 92.

Lee Wright, Raymond Diaz and Toshiki Shibenumo are 3 heels who may deserve a look against a main eventer. I also notice the PGHW brought in William Hayes from TCW (one of the big 2 in usa) and has a 92 overness in the USA. He is a face so i doubt i will have a chance to kick his ass. He is a former 2 time TCW international champion (its not the biggest title but its like 2nd in line i think). Anyways he was a main eventer in the USA at one time. There are also a couple other faces who may get looks against the main event heels Kiminobu Kuoki (my tag team partner), and maybe Yasuhiko Taira.

The August PPV the main even is Colossal Squid defending the title against Nobuatso Tatsuko. He is 94 over in Japan. I am going to turn the "Iron Man" into tin foil. 20 minutes a 2 Colossal Squid Slams = another win for our hero.

B+ rated match taking his overness in Japan to 95. I am hoping the PGHW gets a TV show before the end of the year. Then i can stay here a little longer as i have grown to know the roster now.

Team Dynasty 2000
Yoshimi Mushashibo and Shuji Inukai

vs

Revenge Warriors
Colossal Squid and Kiminobu Kuroki

in 19 minutes Kiminobu Kuroki hits a reverse DDT for the win and a B- rating.

Something that has never happened to me before in the game happened. I got a message that EasternPower.com wants to hold an interview with me.

Question#1 PGHW main eventer Yoshimi Mushashibo is an interesting worker-What do you think of him?

I can say i am a huge fan he is great, He is an asset to any company, I am not a fan but i respect his accomplishments, or he sucks.

I know i want to say he sucks but i am going to take the professional view and put him over, its not the truth but i don't want to get a bad wrap espcially since i am considering trying to build up a rep in the USA.

They next ask me about Masayuki Shiga he isn't one of the top 6 guys in the promotion besides myself (unless they stole a star from another Japan company) I honestly don't recall who this is.

I can so he should be a main eventer, he is a good worker, he is ok but won't become a major player in PGHW, or why he is still employed. I say he is a good worker.

question#3-they ask what i think of my boss Jimbo no heistation here i give the best possible answer and say he is a genius.

they thank me for the interview and i say the pleasure was mine.

December PPV Japenese Wrestle Peace Festival

main even is Colossal Squid vs Dread who is currently 90 over.

Dread is a tough oppenent and losing the tile close to renegotion of our contract wouldn't be a good thing.

27 minutes Dread hits a finsher(after kicking out of Colossal Squid Slam) and i see visions of Colossal Squid's downfall in my head but with 10 spirit points and a kickout another Colossal Squid Slam is hit and another win for our hero.
The match only got a B rating and i thought it was better than some of the B+ rated matches we have had. Overness in Japan is now 100.

didn't wrestle in 12 matches so i don't qualify for the top 500 wrestlers

i was taxed 55% and they took $109,398

i still have a nestegg of 242k which i can live off of for 3 years.

In DAVE the third largest promotion in the United States Nemesis who starts off as their Booker has been replaced with Honest Frank (manager/wrestler) not sure if that will help open the door for Colossal Squid there (although i would rather be in one of the big 2)

Lee Bennent who was a foe of mine moving up the ranks in PGHW has left the company as they couldn't agree to a new contract, he was signed by BHOTG which starts the game as the biggest promotion(and currently is again) and has Bruce the Giant as the current champion(a guy i would love to wrestle against).

PGHW sign Eagle Kawasawa he is a speedy lightweight wrestler and all around bad guy but is currently an opener and i don't think i will be facing him anytime soon.

PGHW seems to want me to stick around they offered over 55k a month for 2 years. I am going to going to say thank you but i am going to leave. I really want to make it in the USA or at least wrestle enough to make the top 500 list. Worst case i will try to get a job back with them down the road when the money is running out.

in what may be the last match for Colossal Squid in PGHW for a while (depends on when next month the PPV is) after 2 Colossal Squid Slams an asshat at the 26 minute mark makes Nobuatsu Tatsuko tap out.

Well its March 2014 and Colossal Squid is a free agent. First call goes out to Total Championship Wrestling, Tommy Cornell stomping grounds who i want to beat. They aren't interested. Next call goes to Supreme Wrestling Federation Where Christian Faith is a guy i would love to fight and again they are not interested. I call DAVE surely they want the former PGHW who is 60 over in the USA but nope they aren't interested. This is a huge blow. I thought by getting to 60 overness one of the big 3 would be interested. There are the little 3 in the USA United States pro wrestling currently cult level aren't interested in me. Costal Zone Combat Wrestling offers us a 640 dollars pay per apperance (it sucks but at least its a way to get some overness) and New York City Wrestling who offers a whopping 80 dollars per apperance.

The good thing is i am not tied to a written contract and can jump to one of the major promotions the bad thing is i won't make enough money to do this for more than a couple years. So i have to hope they CZCW uses me on a regular basis. Else i have to hope that PGHW will take me back or it may be the end of a career for Colossal Squid.

Intersting South of the Border Wrestling have requested a meeting with me. They are a cult sized Lucha style promotion in mexico(i am not Lucha style wrestler) They offer me 200 dollars to be an opener. They don't have a tv show but i will take the offer as i could use some extra revenue i guess and i was happy to see someone who actually wants me.

DAVE just signed Travis Century who is only 34 over to a verbal contract yet they have no interest in me. Who hates me in the big 3. I am kinda getting obsessed wondering why they aren't interested. (i know it has to do with my overness level it seems i may have actually gotten it too high as they wanted a opener and i may be considered a mid carder)
