So yeah, those guys who played with you and then ended up in Napa have really racked up.

Ahhh, the good old days. I remember when Bosi (or was it catobase) automatically tracked the # of rings in OOTP 6.5

Probably cato.

Boy do I miss both cato and Bosi.. some of their various features are integrated into ootp now, but some things I wish were still around.

i definitetely think this team is on a 3, 4 year tops timeframe for winning a championship. after that we gotta blow it up and start over. fortunately rebuilding only takes about 5 weeks in this league. lol

Unless you're on the muns plan, then you have 17 seasons of pain ahead.

I do not recommend the muns plan. The muns plan is bad.

Well, except for the 7 straight winning seasons.

And two titles.

I'd rather get to the title series every year and lose, than finish second for 20 straight years.

The chance for a title is always better than coming close or being awful forever. Being in the hunt is always better.

i'd rather have a shot and come in 2nd and lose a lot and at leat be a consistent playoff team than have 2 championships and then not win anything for the next 30 years. sure, you'll always have those 2 rings, but ask any Raiders or Knicks fan if they care about the championship seasons from several decades ago now. both would rather not win another championship for the next 20 years but at least have a playoff caliber team. everyone is different, but in the end there can only be one winner so all but one team is gonna go home with nothing. in my book if you aren't gonna win a ring the next best thing is at least competing for one, rather than being on the outside looking in. everyone is different when it comes to this. no right or wrong answer.

but yeah - at least now 2nd place means something and you still get to hang a banner in your park.
