Okay, I got Jackson in the 10 teamer. I now have Rice, McFadden, Ridley, Benson, Morris, and Jackson at RB. Thinking of picking up Morris to play against CAR over Ridley against BAL. I'd cut Benson (other bench guys are Garçon, Amendola, Decker, and Rivers), but I hate to cut a starting RB for a one-time starter...even with my depth. Especially when Ridley probably isn't much worse of a play. Are my concerns justified?

Makes sense. I have Davis at TE, Vincent Jackson and Larry Fitzgerald at WR and RGIII at QB. I could improve at WR probably. I doubt I could get a trade through in time to pick up Brown though.

Dump R Moss, Goodson, Draughn, or D Richardson for a defense?

Receivers are Garcon, Moss, Amendola and Wallace.

Probably dumping Randy Moss, he isn't getting much run it seems.

Ridley vs. Baltimore
Hillis vs. New Orleans

Feel like Ridley should be the no brainer since Hillis hasn't been so hot, but I wonder if the matchup possibly favors Hillis enough to start him?

Unless its PPR, I wouldn't touch Hillis. Even with PPR, its doubtful they run much since the Saints are liable to put up 30 even on a bad day, and I would expect McCluster to get a lot of the checkdown looks. Baltimore hasn't been the best at stopping the run so far this year, so I'd go with Ridley.

Might want to hold on to Moss. Not all that likely, but I could see him going off against his former team.

Moss had only 1 catch against a horrible Lions secondary.

Thats enough.

Yep, 10 team. It's a paid league too (NFL.com hosted). I also picked up one of the Steelers HB's. I forget which, but I imagine he'll put up bigger numbers than Adrian Peterson this week (who I'm sitting).

I don't know who of my guys to start anywhere.

RB - Turner, Matthews, Michael Bush, Greene (pick 2)
WR - Fitzgerald, Denarious Moore, Crabtree, Maclin (pick 2)
plus one flex

Leaning towards Turner, Matthews, Fitzgerald, Moore and Bush

With 20 points already and a quarter to go for Andre, Donald was almost certainly not the correct answer

Pretty sure Ryan has the weaponry to overpower the San Diego D. Atlanta's offense is one of the hottest and most talented in the league.

Dalton might have to throw it a bunch, but that may not necessarily be a good thing.

welp...down by 28. Brown scored 26 in our scoring, and my gutcheck call of the panthers d(so i could invest in the game) turned out to be worth -2. Defenses thus far have me at -3, -2, -2 through the first 3 weeks. I'm pretty sure we use a modified defensive scoring though.

Need to start two of:

Darren Sproles
Chris Johnson
Pierre Thomas
Dexter McCluster
Daryl Richardson (St. Louis Backup).

Pretty sure that I won't be starting Richardson (unless Jackson gets a setback in practice).

So, it is between Sproles, Johnson, Thomas, and McCluster for two spots.

Standard scoring, no PPR.

I guess Garcon is probably out again, so this is a bit easier.

Flex-Gates or Tate. Can also play D Richardson or Draughn, dunno about Steven Jackson.

Leaning Gates if he's 100% ready to go.

It won't matter that much but I need another RB to start with Foster today. Today's crap choices are...

Tate, Jac. Rogers, Dwyer

those choices are terrible rowech.

id go quizz but there have to be better options in FA.

(Yes, I know tate blew up as RB2 last week hes gonna have 30 yards today, and the texans will lose to the broncos)

There aren't. 12 team league with 4 RBs per team, and the possibility of a 5th. Bradshaw got hurt, I was low in the waiver wire, couldn't get a replacement so got stuck with this slop.

I think if I start Tate, I'm hoping he scores a TD because I don't think he gets a ton of yards. If I start Dwyer, I'm guessing something like a 30-40 yard game. Rogers I would go with if I knew Turner was going to be disciplined for even a full quarter.

I'd probably go with Dwyer, although Tate makes a nice active handcuff to ensure you get all the Texans rush yards and rush TDs.

You are in a league that starts 4 RBs and a flex?

(facepalm)

That said, amazing that you got Foster and Bradshaw who were Top 15 ranked preseason backs. Plus, your handcuff in Tate.

Id still go Quizz and have a hunch he catches 3 balls, gets a handful of rushes and scores.

This is basically why FF has started to suck really bad for me. You get to the point where everyone is so knowledgeable now and there are no fish left basically. I guess the only way to exploit any kind of inefficiency is to collect players that are decent, but not glamorous. Guys like Michael Turner. Or to try to trade rape people.

No...I meant all rosters have 4 RBs, half have 5. That's every team's 2nd running back and into the third stringers. One injury, guys don't trade, and you're toast.

I offered a couple of trades to avoid this but no takers.

i like strong competition so i'm glad there's no village idiots anymore. what drives me insane is the guy that only sets his lineup every couple of weeks, has flacco at qb and a k and a te that aren't even playing and still scores 150 points

no skill. no strategy. pure luck

Gibson seems unlikely to get much more than 6 targets. He can do it on that, but would need a big play. Though I suppose that is all it takes.

Amendola has more targets than the next 4 rams players combined.

Yeah...that's what it has become. Some moron exits the draft with CJ Spiller as his #2 back and wins by virtue of sheer dumb luck.

I nailed it, and doubt many ppl would have played it that way.

Tate had 28 yards ( I said 30 yds) no catches
Dwyer had no yards rushing and a 1 yard catch

My recommendation was Quizz who had 30+ yards rushing and
5 rec including a TD! (I called 3+ receptions and a TD, he had NO CATCHES the previous MNF game)

Im sure you didnt listen and played it safe with Tate, after all he scored 20 pts last week.

The reason Im bumping this is to let everyone know, Im now the only winless team in my ONLY FF league, at 0-3.

If you have Ben Roethlisburger and win by less than 4 points, don't sleep easy until the official scoring decision comes out on one of his TD passes to Antonio Brown. It will probably remain a TD, but it's possible it could be overturned.

You're right on all counts. I went with Tate figuring he would get me at least five. Rogers would have got me 12. I lead by 12 with opponent having Lynch left to play. Would have felt comfortable up by 24. Not so much by 12.

< rant>

I felt getting burned out on fantasy football before the season started (and it's why I left the FOFC league, as well as another one)... and I think I'm already feeling it in week3 hah.

I think the problem is that a fantasy win doesn't get me excited or happy, but a fantasy bullshit loss gets me more upset. Lost this week 82.6-82, and will lose another close game in a league which I benched Torrey Smith at the 11th hour after hearing about his brother's death and how he's going to be with family, but not ruled out for the game. It was the Sunday night game, so I figured the safe option would be to swap him out. Clearly wrong. So I was right in drafting him, but don't reap the rewards in his first big game.

I think right now, I'd rather keep the fantasy money and bet on a game a week. Anyone else have similar opinions on fantasy sports?
