There's always been talk about changing things. Not too long ago there was talk about moving the Preakness to another track because Pimlico is not a classy enough track anymore. While I'm all in favor of bringing new fans into the game, why should the TC be made easier? CC beat a weak crop of 3 year olds in the Derby and Preakness. He was the best horse in those two races. But should he be mentioned in the same breath as Secretariat? Or Affirmed? Or Seattle Slew? I don't think so. I am happy that he didn't win the Belmont, especially after hearing the owner's asshat comments.
