His combine interview session showed me an intelligent guy who is working hard on his craft. This seems like a weird thing to say.

So I am trying to get enthused about the Dolphins' draft. I go to the Miami Herald website and I see this headline.

Dolphins’ first-round pick might reveal if Hickey or Tannenbaum in charge

The day of the draft and I have no idea who is making the pick for my team

As long as they don't get their draft tips from homeless guys you're still up one on the Browns.

I just want the hype to be over with. Two months ago I that there is no chance for the Eagles to get Mariota and didn't much care about the hype over him.

Now I still feel that there is no chance and not overly sold on him but with all the hype I have started second guessing myself thinking that I guess it would be nice (I think more so because it beats the prospect of seeing Sam Bradford playing for the team).

---------------

With that said. Imagine if the following two announcements were made...

The Eagles have traded up to the number one spot in the draft.

followed by...

With the first selection in the draft the Philadelphia Eagles select quarterback Jameis Winston.

The internet would break.

You really do get the feeling they have no clue what they're doing down there.

Last year the Raiders had one of the top drafts if not the top draft.

Mack....stud
Carr.....starting qb with a bright future
Jackson....stud guard that will start for 10 years
Ellis....Huge DT steal that is going to look great next to Leonard Williams.

Seriously doubt that the Raiders grab the best defensive player in the draft two years in a row, but here's hoping. Williams selection would mean fewer double teams for Mack.

I don't know that I have ever had the draft on this early before it started. Have they always sung the anthem before the draft?

Kinda hoping Chip Kelly's "mad scientist plan" works and they get Mariotta at #2.

Good luck to all your teams-may they all get the player they wanted.

I do have to say the funniest thing that I heard was that the Titans refused to take Cutler as part of the deal.

Flipped on ESPN, realized I can't stand Mel Kiper and switched over to NFL Network.

Sounds like the Eagles are trying to sell the whole team to get to #1 or #2.

Ended up not really doing much research into the players in the draft this year (watching games), so I'll just stick to my original pick. Based on the mock drafts and what people are saying about the players, I hope the Giants get OL Sherff or OL Flowers.

I think Rivers is incredibly overrated, if I could get to #2 by dealing him, I would. I think the Titans don't want him.

I'm hoping Miami can get Melvin Gordon. The RB from Wisconsin.

Seemed like a good fit for Whisenhunt-worked with him in SD, a veteran hw wouldn't have had to develop.

I think the Eagles are better off in the long run if they don't make a deal.

If Titans don't take Mariotta, how far does he fall? JAX has Bortles, Oak has Carr, WAS has RGIII, so I guess the Jets are the next likely spot.
