Yeah, I probably shouldn't hate on the Chargers for that. I think they saved the Steelers the embarrassment of losing as horribly as the Chargers did in the Super Bowl.

Was that the next year when the Steelers almost choked another home AFC Championship game? Only to have Neil O'Donnell forget what team he played for in the Super Bowl? Not that I remember much about that particular Super Bowl. My roommate (the guy from Georgetown) is a huge Cowboys fan. We threw a Super Bowl party and I don't think either of us remember much of the game. I do know that he had sex that night while I went to bed alone. Ah, the spoils of the victor.

yeah, that was a tough loss. i felt for coach cowher. after the heartbreak loss to the chargers and having to lose like they did was t4errible.
