Thanks for clarifying. A brutal wolf who can also avoid scans would be quite the powerful role.

I'm mildly surprised to see them pick Autumn over BK as he's now our one trusted villager.

Sorry, didn;lt see this question until now. As a voting day, people may not be around for 9 pm deadlins on a Friday night because of vacations and what not but are more likely to be around at 9 pm on Sunday night. It's either do it Friday night and wait Saturday and Sunday, or wait Friday and Saturday and do it Sunday night. Additionally, I'm playing Magic tomorrow night at a friends house. Now, I could do it from there, but all preferneces preferred, I'd rather do it when I'm not playing Magic with my playgroup for the 1st time in two months (almost)

My thought is that Pass couldn't change his brutal target at that point. He had a default choice (autumn) and since he didn't know he was going to die, couldn't change it to me.

OK, I know I have been through this before with him and it has triggered all kinds of a shitstorm but Schmidty fucked us 3 ways till sunday. Not only did we lose the camp but we lost it in a manner where we have no way to analyze why. Plus we now have to vote out someone next deadline, which correct me if I am wrong but is sometime near the 4th of July.
I realize this thread blew up in an insane manner and is hard to keep up with, but I see no reason to not put my vote on him. |

Lathum, I agree with you. I would go either way (Danny or Schmidty) on this due to how we lost the camp. This is our second lose of a camp with no info.

Unless Danny's x3 Org, he wouldn't have mattered in the end, assuming all work was actually done. I hated bringing up the Schmidty thing too, Lathum, and I felt like a jerk for it, but it's even more imperative in this game to be a daily participant, and at least get some sort of action in to help the rest of the team. Regular werewolf doesn't have an equivalent responsibility, and missing a day doesn't hurt too much, for the most part. |

I'm sorry guys. I blew it. I thought I would be back before the deadline, but because of circumstances beyond my control, I obviously wasn't able to.
If you guys vote me off tomorrow, I would understand. I should never have signed up.

Good game Abe. Every night, I get good entertainment by reading werewolf threads. Unfortuntately, I have no work access to read and with 18 month twins at home it is too hard to be involved quickly when I get home since I'm usually not on-line until after 8 PM.

Oh, and fantastic job, BK. Sounds like you made the same sort of read I made on Poli two games back, and came up gold.
Sucks about the camps. I know where Schmidty's coming from, though, what with a busy schedule myself.

As night turns to day, you get powerful news! You hear that strikes have begun in the Kanawha Valley! One of the few unionized areas is Paint Creek. There is a major strike going on, and you have decided to go help Paint Creek.
You arrive at the Creek where a large number of mines are, and find a large number of miners and an even larger number of scabs, gun-thugs, law enforcement agents. This looks like it will be nasty. They have been informed of your arrival! Someone has again sent news ahead of you! There is still a sympathizer in your midst! Today you may vote to Oust one of your members. Perhaps you can find he who gave you away! Day Four is due at 9 pm EST Sunday night There will be a mission today, in addition to the difficult road to hoe here. You will learn the detail fo that shortly. It will be due at 3 pm like normal. Paint Creek is already Unionized, but you have to free it from Company Control to Win it Back 10 Hunting 10 Patrol Day Four has begun!

When the strikes started at Paint and Cabin Creek, John Laing was not only a coal company operator in the area, but was also the head of the WV Department of Mines. He would bring the full weight of the law, in the form of deputized gun-thugs, falsified arrest warrants, and more down on the striking miners. He was appointed the Secretary of the Department of Mines despite numerous reports by media and miners that his strike busting techniques were among the most dangerous and deadly, as you will shortly see. Some of the things his company would do against striking miners includes one of the most dangerous and significant events in labor history in the US. John Laing, by the way, had been the vice president of District 17 as late as 1899.

And so it begins.
The West Virginia Mine War of 1912-1913 began in Paint Creek before moving to Cabin Creek. It has now begun. Get ready for the game to alter a bit over the next three game days.

Today's Mission
Dan Chain, aka Few Clothes, became a legend who rose from the West Virginia Coal Mine War of 1912-1913. This giant Black man had been a soldier in the Spanish-American War and had moved to West Virgina and coal mining. He would unionize and battle with the law on numerous occasions, through courts and the jail system. Few Clothes was one of the major folk heroes to come out of the Mine Wars. You get a chance to recruit him, and who knows what he could bring to the table. Your mission, due at 3 pm Friday EST, is to Recruit Dan Chain aka Few Clothes
