If the mafia thought that Marathon was the bodyguard, I doubt he would still be alive.

LoneStarGirl, can each of the people you have in your circle cross-vouch for you?
If not, perhaps having Swaggs check out LoneStarGirl would be better so we can truly extend our trust group. |

Negative on the LSG search.
I have already submitted for someone else and don't want to get knocked down the queue. |

OK, then I'm wondering who you were referring to on Day 1 when you said that someone could vouch for you, LoneStarGirl? Or am I losing it?

There is somebody who could vouch for me. I havent mentioned them and they haven't mentioned me... and I hope they dont cuz that would reveal too much.
And on day one I said i had information that could make people vouch for me, but I choose not to reveal that information just yet |

What do you all think about asking bsak for information on what weapons he has sold and to who? (I assume he made it clear to all that he is the pawnbroker)
Might help us track down who killed Tyrith if someone bought both a gun and bullets. |

OK, going to sleep early tonight, as far as my enemies know. Maybe I'll lurk for awhile in my "Guest" disguise - buwahaha! - to throw them off-guard.
Although that plan didn't work very well this afternoon when I was assaulted. Hmm, it really does feel like they are out to get me, doesn't it? I'll be sleeping with one eye open. |

I ran into a lead pipe and someone's boots repeatedly. No identification - apparently I'm not very good with faces as I haven't been able to identify a detective, an attacker, or a doctor so far. Let alone a hacker or a garbage man ...

By the way, marathoner isnt claiming to be good...interesting note, he says hes independant:

Just saying, both of the actual evils we have faced have claimed to be good. Hes not claiming that, which to me makes it much more plausible

I didn't take it from you and the likely reason you were not notified is because it was not taken from your savings. It is how I earn my living and it is far different than theft. I'm trying to make a living, too. So, no, you may not have it back, but thanks for asking. |

I still don't buy it. He knows (or is being advised) that if he claims bodyguard, the real bodyguard will no longer trust him. And, as I said, I'm staying after him unless someone else comes forward with something far more substantial. In my mind, risking that he may be thug, with the reward being that he could be the muscle is a worthwhile lynch unless better evidence is presented. |

Have at it. If you are honestly missing $100 from your savings and think I stole it, you should file a police report. I think you know that would be a wild goose chase, because I found the money fair and square. I'm not going to recipricate and target you, because I know you are the jeweler, but if you want to act irresponsibly and hinder our chances of eliminating the mafia, you are welcome to do so. I'm trying to win the game, just like you are. and, funny, but just yesterday someone said this to me: Quote:

Oh, i intend to..and im glad your playing to win. I will to, seeing as how you are totally uncleared and tried to save the mafia boss(and until DT was in the lead late you were voting in defense of the next mafia boss too). Im not hindering out chances, ive delievered you 2 mafia bosses in two days. You just admitted to stealing from me, have lied about your role already, have withheld info from the group when trying to get marathoner lynched, and we have 0 clearance of you from anyone. Your actually a wonderful choice.
Lets play to win you and i...im sure my new found friends will enjoy their visit they pay you tomorrow

While you are asking, make sure to ask him if it was stolen or not, since you are throwing that accusation out rather liberally.
If you have the ability to get it back from me within your role, you are welcome to use it. I didn't still it and I obviously wouldn't have telegraphed it, if I had. I appreciate that you need to reach a certain money goal to win the game, but so do I. And, while I may be uncleared, the police have already investigated me and collected evidence, so be careful what you wish for. I have nothing to hide. And now, I am done swatting away your feeble accusations, so have a good night. |

Your mental leap does not clear the hurdle, but think what you will. I collected your trash, as I do for everyone. When I sorted through yours, I found the ad and a small coin purse with $100 in it. A little different than robbery, but if you cannot make that mental leap, so be it. If you are going to focus your attempts on prosecuting me, you obviously have your own independent goals that are not consistent with those of the other townspeople, like me. That is fine--you are trying to win your independent game by yourself. I am trying to win mine for the townspeople. I'm willing to be searched again. It will waste time/resources, but I am confident I have not commited a crime. Hopefully while you are wasting the law's time in wild goose chase, the rest of the people in this good city will join me in looking at Marathoner. |

You have already said that you are looking for a precious gem to win the game. I have no doubt that you are cooperating with us while it is convenient. Leading a charge against me, over $100, when there has already been an investigation of me that will clear me is not in the townspeoples' interest. As I said, you are doing what you have to in order to win. I am doing what I have to in order to win. You are correct. I have not voted with 100% accuracy. I am guilty as charged on that. I lied about my role to buy some more time in using it. And, in fact, used it to help clear you today. By saying that I could only use it every other day, I lessened the chance of the mafia trying to kill me yesterday and bought myself enough time to give the town a little more information. I never claimed to be a saint. I am a janitor and a proud citizen doing my best to fix the city's problem. |

I have a strong reason to believe im the 4th person to recieve this role...it has benefits to it, one that came into play in the cronin lynch. So whoever had the role day 2 is owed quite a bit of thanks for making the right call

Woohoo! Good work again Blade.
I don't buy this "nominate heir" crap. If it truly was the case that DT could do that, would he really tell everyone about it? Is he such a sore loser that he'd destroy his team's chances just to get back at Blade? It looks like we still have one detective left, as Tyrith was a police dispatcher. I don't understand why Swaggs hasn't been searched though. I haven't really had much time to work out who we should be looking at today although bsak springs readily to mind. I think I'll let Blade do all the thinking and then agree with what he says. Save me having to strain my brain too much. Although bsak is either bad or a pawnbroker with a big mouth. |

As hoops was missing yesterday we didn't get a vote count. For what it's worth here it is.
Marathoner - Swaggs (1140), Lathum (1254), ChiefRum (1281), DaddyTorgo (1300), BSak (1320), Lathum unvote (1345), Swaggs unvote (1401) DaddyTorgo - Blade (1219), Narcizo (1240), kingfc (1277), Path (1310), Anxiety (1316), Barkeep (1329), Sndvl (1342), Lathum (1345), LSG (1365), Swaggs (1401), ImTheCrew (1406) Swaggs - Marathoner (1301), Jonathon E (1312) DaddyTorgo claimed that he had an non-specified role and then that he had a role at 1319. He confessed on 1387, so votes on him after that aren't exactly ringing endorsements of the voter. Bsak's vote put it at 5:5. But then people started to pile onto DT as he was looking more and more guilty. I think kingfc comes out looking good from this. He voted for DT when he couldn't change it. I can't see a bad guy voting for one of their own and then leaving, unless he stands next in line to become the boss. The only people who voted for Marathoner and kept their votes there are bsak and Chief Rum, although Swaggs switch doesn't really prove anything as it came so late. We've got the results from the search of Swaggs pending. (it is still pending isn't it)? Despite Blade's antics this morning I still think Swaggs is ok. Chief Rum appears to be the bookie. Now Alan has stated that there's room for the independents to switch to good or evil so we can't rule him out from being evil. But I think we need to give him the benefit of the doubt for now. That leaves bsak looking as guilty as hell. Compounded by last night's über-suspicious comments. I think he's the pawnshop owner. I think that that role is expressly said to be good, although I'm not sure. His voting patterns have been extremely suspicious though. Perhaps too suspicious for him to really be bad. People I'm most suspicious of at the moment (in order of suspicion) = ImTheCrew, Bsak, Marathoner. I'm going to check their posts for this game. |

It's just stuck me that Hoops stated that he was going to issue an arrest order on Marathoner if Swaggs came up clean. Low and behold he gets hit by a thug (lead piping, brute force attack) not long after. Marathoner looks very much like the thug role at the moment.
