- Decide Research (offensive, new technology, agricultural improvements for the biodome)

Looking for input from the group. My thoughts:

Offensive - If we start research now, then engineering can complete work in a few days. We'd be able to explore the other craft then.

New technology - Not sure what to think... this could help any of a hundred different ways. Less focused and therefore more risky.

Agricultural improvement - Between supplies and the biodome do we need additional food improvements right now?

Because I believe that improving tools could improve a wide range of options for the colony along all assets. From the Biodome, to the Research Center to the Medical Center. It could even include weaponry, telemetry, anything that can help us on the surface.

But if the group thinks we would be better served improving the defensive designs, I am certainly willing to listen and consider any proposals.

First of all I have to say that I found the manifest, somebody hyde it and I will give it to Fontisian, I think that in the hands that this information has to be is in our leader´s. The gun also should be in our leader´s belt.

Okay then, I'm waiting for a response before commenting on what options the creation of the government have given me and the like. I also am waiting for shoveler to comment definitively on whether he is our interrogator or not before assigning deputies. Both JAG and Britrock have said they are not.

As for healing Chief Rum, I'd like to see him stay sidelined until fully healed but that's not my decision.

-my suggestion for the scientific team is offensive research, though the new technology is intriguing.

-my suggestion for Grover would be to design defenses for the colony

-my choice for action would be repair communications or explore flatlands but haven't made my mind up yet which one to vote for.

I may (or not) have more info later, so stay tuned and don't ask me questions unless they are about whatever projects you may be working on, until I comment more about what I know.

You have the manifest? Can you tell us what is on it? This could be extremely important? Is it a passenger log?

Why are you so willing to say that fontisian should have the gun? I know we need to know more about who harshly interrogated Chief Rum, but shouldn't the sheriff ideally have the gun? Giving it to the leader could give her too much power.

The Government building gave me a onetime Duke ability to control the vote.

That actually helps illustrate a larger point: if I wasn't thoroughly on the town's side, I could have done a lot damage by now. Instead, we have three buildings built, the beginnings of scientific research and a security force, and we've only lost the two inactive. It may not be perfect, but it could be much worse.

Sorry, I didn't realize you had asked for verification on this topic. Interrogating an individual under duress via beating them up badly is not a technique employed by private investigators.

Why exactly are we assuming one of the sheriff candidates is responsible? Didn't we already come to the conclusion that we have at least one person that is probably holding themselves out to be something they are not? It just seems to obvious to narrow this down to the four or five (I forget off hand) people that ran for Sheriff. I guess it makes sense from the evidence presented, but it just seems to easy.

If there was someone to heal besides myself, I would choose to work (and heal slower). But since I am the only one hurt right now, it seems better to convalesce and not do anything and let Autumn/ntn/whoever do their work.

FWIW, the level of healing I received, if I received it again, would be more than enough to get me to full health, presuming there aren't other factors that are changed today from Day Three.

On the matter of my interrogator, I do not believe that person is the stowaway. He/she may even regret the action, as I believe it was only made in an effort to find the stowaway.

In my mind, it is all good, and I would rather we focused our efforts on finding the stowaway rather than the interrogator.

I actually like Improving Tools, as I think we can build projects faster with those. It's definitely something to consider for future votes.

Obviously, I think Defense will be necessary sooner than later.

Why the focus on gathering supplies versus getting communications back up? The more we know about the colonists the better chance we have of finding the stowaway, right? Or is that too "easy" of a direction to proceed?
