Negative, I have not received any kind of report back. Which forced my hand, to some extent, with the warrants I issued today. I'm hoping that by the end of Day 4 to have a better feel for how this whole detective/judge process is supposed to work. |

No one has come into my shop and bought a gun outright. That's not to say they didn't buy one on the underground.

We may only be down to one detective if Tyrith was right about three (and if he was able to perform detective duty as the dispatcher).

Which leads me to a question: If a detective is killed, does that mean that there is a job position open that someone could apply for?

I got the feeling that Tyrith was the dispatcher, rather than one of the detectives. And, he had indicated, at one point I believe, that there were two others detectives besides ntn.
I am going on the assumption that we still have two detectives remaining. |

I have sold a few guns outside of the pawn shop. I have no control over who gets them after that point. Don't forget that when someone buys something from anyone in the underground there is no idea to track who it is unless you know their user #, but if they buy it from the Pawn Shop I know exactly who it is. |

The judge can sentence someone who is arrested, or he can rule they are innocent.. or he can let them sit with no ruling pending further investigation. However due process requires people that are arrested to be dealt with in a reasonable amount of time. |

Well if there is allowed to be conversion in this game and you are a mob member, you just sent a lot of resources to investigate me and not someone else. Plus you are going to get a lot of votes to swing my way in the lynching. Which is what the mob would want right now because they are short two people and want some time to coax a few others to join them. |

The judge determines the guilt and sentences based on whatever they feel like it. A judge likely assumes a police detective won't arrest someone who doesn't have evidence backing it however. Also a rogue judge that has their own agenda likely will be dealt with by the mob. So all kinds of ways to prove your anger. |

I think we're off on all kinds of tangents here. First of all, we should try and see if we can replace the key positions we've lost. Does anyone have the ability to post a job opening? If so that person should do so in order to try and get replacements for our detective and dispatcher. We need as much manpower in the police area as possible in order to get all the investigations done properly.

I'm beginning to wonder just what the heck our detectives are doing. I've issued three different warrants and haven't seen anything to suggest any action behind them. If I'm pushing for the wrong people, then I would love for some of the others to offer up alternatives towards the end of the day, giving me a chance to consider their choices.
I'm guessing that our City is like a lot of metropolitan areas that offer "diversions" for people on a Friday night, so we may not have too much time left to discuss current affairs between now and the weekend. ooc: I'm out this evening for birthday stuff, very limited access (if any) after 5PM CS. |

Swaggs claimed that a detective came to him and took evidence. I'm guessing the detective is someone with limited access to the game, and that there's only one. Of course they might have been rubbed out already today and we wouldn't know about it yet. If that's the case then the mob have a very good bead on who the police are. I'm not going to be able to be around much more. I'll keep my vote on ImTheCrew for now. I think he's been acting suspiciously from day one and I don't really have another candidate - although with the lack of policing it looks like we can't rely on Marathoner being arrested and we might have to lynch him instead. Hope we get an update on that situation before I have to go. |

Nothing more to add then. If we don't get an arrest of Marathoner I'd say people should vote for him but I'll keep my vote where it is.

So swaggs, LSG...where did your actions go today. I have yet to send mine in, and dont want to overlap. I know swaggs sent his in last night, so he has his results back.
Im considering anxiety right now to be honest...i think ill go back and look at just who was pushing him for judge on day 1

Blade - Nice job calling a spade a spade so far. 2 in a row this early is very good.
So bsak is the pawn shop owner. His actions have been fairly suspect especially yesterday. However, I want to see what info the warrants bring out today before I vote.

The Big City Herald
Edition 18 Pawn Shop Raided! Word has reached the herald that earlier today the police raided the local big city pawn shop. We aren't sure exactly what was being looked for, but an inside source stated that they were looking for something that connected the pawnshop to the notorious Big City crime family. When we asked for a comment from the detectives, they told us that they had in fact served the pawn shop with a search order and took some evidence back to police headquarters, but there were no arrests made at this time. Miracle doctor heals judge Whatever all of those pills that our faithful judge has been taking are, they seem to be working. Earlier today some unknown doctor paid our judge a visit and it was only a matter of time before he was seen walking back into the courthouse once again full of life and vigor. Big City on ice Later tonight Big City welcomes a rematch of Anaheim vs San Jose in ice hockey. They faced off here earlier in the week, but the game received so little publication that very few people even went. Tonight the rematch seems personal and much more likely to draw a crowd. We have also been told that before the game the national anthem will be sung by Rosanne Barr. |

Blade, seriously, if you are looking for bad, make sure you look fo rhte good too. Like, the fact that I was online whe st.cronin was going down and chose not to hop to you like everybody else was doing. COulda done it and hidden in a crowd at the same time - I did not.
Or the fact that I have an uncontroverted claim of being abducted by the mafia. And remember that judges get more scrunity from seer rules than others. Why would a mafia person want to be judge? They want no one to be judge, which is what they got Day One, in part because you didn;t throw your suport behind another candidate and in part because hoops pushed for DT. Sure, I could be a clever wolf who hurt his mafia boss by not making a move that could have been hidden, while also creating a story that could have been proven false by a police investigation, or I could just be me. One's a lot more likely than the other.

#333 and #335, respectively, they both lavish praise on chief

Cronin and DT both were very in favor of voting both tyrith and Barkeep...and later cronin went after LSG, and DT went after ntndeacon.
Side note, lathum went after LSG back on day one too, and im noting it since he just voted him again
