So is this a mushroom shaped like a chicken, a mushroom that tastes like chicken, or is it a mushroom sandwich with chicken?

It's a "chicken mushroom." It's not shaped like a chicken, but the "meat" of the mushroom looks, feels and tastes a lot like a cooked chicken breast. It's pretty surprising. I had never known such a thing existed before the first time she found one. Chicken Mushroom

That's how I've been spinning this to my wife. Before, her role in the zombie apocalypse was really just dying and, thus, fueling my never-ending rage against zombies that would turn me into the tormented and brooding, yet surprisingly effective leader of mankind against the zombie hordes. Now, she's excited by her new role of survivor/forager.

That's why you should start with the chicken mushroom. It's very distinct and, unlike most mushrooms, there are no poisonous look-alikes.

Adoptive parents are so awesome. There's nobody I respect more. There's almost 7 billion people in the world. We don't need any more. Yes, it's kind of cool to have a kid that looks and acts a little like you - but isn't that just the personification of narcissism? Every birth brings us closer to the tipping point, but every person who adopts really makes the world a better place.

Don't get me wrong, I HATE mushrooms, but, I love chicken and if there's a mushroom that tastes like chicken, that just increases my odds of survival. Coupled with the fact that I HATE fish worse than I hate mushrooms. So, I'm willing to take that risk and even though malls are one of the worst places to go, I'd hit up a book store and find some kind of botanical guide (with pictures) to help try and prevent that from happening.

The Chase website has been down for almost two straight days....Seems like a really long time for nobody to be able to do any online transactions at the second largest U.S. bank. In trying to figure out what the hell is going on I've discovered Chase-Sucks.org . Useful info there.

Being intentionally walked in slow-pitch softball with the game tying run at second base is really painful when you watch that runner get doubled off on a pop-out to left field on the following play, ending the game.

DeSoto Dragons lost a heartbreaker last night. Down 21-0 just one minute into the second quarter, the team scored with 1 minute remaining in the half to bring it to 21-7.
DeSoto came out in the 3rd to score twice and tie it up. Fort Zumwalt North replied early in the 4th with a score to take the lead. DeSoto then scored with 2 minutes remaining to tie it again. Into overtime and FZN missed a field goal just inches to the right. We fumbled away our opportunity. Second overtime we go four and out. They convert a 30 yard field goal.

I never gave Buffy the Vampire Slayer (the TV show) a chance since the movie was a steaming pile of crap. But a friend suggested I give it a look. The first season was campy but fun, but I'm nearly through the second season and really getting sucked in. Good show. All 7 seasons are currently available via Netflix On Demand for those who may be interested.

I hate waiting for the bus for school in the morning/afternoon. The timing varies enough that you always waste some time. And they've made it such a pain in the ass to pick up your child at school.

Ours hits exactly the same time every morning. When the local news runs through the day's birthdays, I look out the window and the bus is rounding the corner, like clockwork.

I play and like fantasy football, but it's starting to disturb me how mainstream it is. Like at this moment, the front story on ESPN.com is the release of their fantasy projections for week 3. That's just too much blend with real sports. I prefer my fantasy sports isolated and geeky. I don't want the "real" sports community giving a shit who gets goal line carries for the Packers.

I'm pretty sure there are some really nice communities between Akron and Canton. Basically the road set up in that area is really effective. You can get where you wanna go really easily. There's a shit load of shopping as well. Basically if you don't mind a 30 mi commute you can live as country as you wanna.
