i agree with others in that lathum's reveal was weaksauce. i also don't buy that he was being quiet to get us to make sure we killed him over batman, if he was trying to do that he wouldn't have bothered to tell us he was Gordon.

it sucked that the joker put up batman vs gordon in his silly game but it's time for the joker to disappear.

Sorry for disappearing near the deadline, but I wasn't going to change my play in that spot - I more or less trusted Thomkal and was pretty suspicious of Zinto.

Day 1 sucks - I'm sure there is some logic in there but I'm not finding it and we're running out of time. We really need to get a second mobster ASAP.

This is Gotham Live. We're cutting right now to live footage taken by the Gotham Live helicopter. What you're watching is a high speed chase on Columbus Bridge. The black vehicle in the frame right now was seen racing through downtown Gotham moments ago, and appears to be in pursuit of a panel truck, we're being told it is an ice cream truck.

The armored vehicle is being pursued in turn by a number of squad cars. We can see that a roadblock has been set up ahead of the pursuit. Word has come in--oh my goodness! The armored vehicle appears to have just driven through the divider and around the roadblock, just crushing that concrete. The ice cream truck itself drove straight through the roadblock and appears to have become disabled on the edge of the bridge.

This is Chris Anderson reporting from the scene. On the ground it's clear from eyewitness reports that the vehicle is the so-called Batmobile, the name newspapers have been using for the vehicle occasionally sighted with the Batman. The vehicle appears to be a low profile tank and just plowed through a line of concrete dividers. A figure was seen fleeing from the ice cream truck which is caught on the edge of the bridge. Police are in pursuit but there's a great deal of chaos on the ground here, with officers down and several vehicles on fire, as well as citizens trapped on the bridge.

I've been told, but I can't see it myself, that a figure emerged from the armored car and is up in the cables of the bridge. No confirmation yet, but the Batman seems to be in pursuit of someone. There are far too few police here on the ground, as we know they're spread thin tonight covering the entire city. We have a real scene here with crowds trying to flee from the bridge, but a real pileup at the other end.

Amidst the breaking story on Columbus Bridge, here in the Narrows reports of a shootout been police and criminals on Etchers Drive. One officer is reported down, Thom Kal. Kal was a long time veteran of the force, respected among his fellow officers, although people here in the neighborhood say Officer Kal was quick to turn a blind eye to trouble. Tonight it caught up with him.

Thomkal was a Police Officer. He was corrupted!

Back to our helicopter eye in the sky, in the spotlights here you can see two figures up on the tower of the Columbus bridge. One dark figure was seen ascending on some sort of rope. A figure, presumably the suspect fleeing from the ice cream truck emerged from a service elevator. What appears to be Batman is in pursuit of the individual.

"Hide? Why would I want to hide? Are you even paying attention? Ha ha ha ha. Oh no, I want Gotham to see what I'm selling. I want them to see what their heroes are really like. They're all watching now, Bats. You know what they want. They want spectacle, they want blood. How big of a splat do you think I'll make from up here?"

"I'm not here to kill you. I'm here to take you in."

"Oh, now you're a bat of principles! It's really too bad they didn't get your friend Gordon on camera. You should have heard his screams. If you were a real hero that is, you should have heard him and stopped it. But no, you let him die, just like the others."

"Oh, I wouldn't be so sure of that. You don't think I'd let you catch me here without one more game, do you?"

aha! I was right about the villager/villager.

The figure appears to be the Joker and he's brandishing something. They're behind the beams now, the helicopter is coming around. But it appears the Joker has something and he's thrown it. Yes, he's thrown something down towards the people on the bridge. The Joker is fleeing along the bridge cables.

The Batman is racing after him. It appears he's ignoring what appears to be a bomb ... no! Whatever it is the Joker has thrown, Batman has caught it by some sort of grappling line, he's swinging it out over the river. Meanwhile he's caught up with the Joker, and the two have gone down, they're falling!

They were falling, from quite a height, but Batman's caught them somehow and he's gliding on what appears to be bat wings down to the bridge. People are scurrying away, but the Batman appears to have the Joker in hand.

There's been an explosion! It seems the Joker's bomb--wait, no it's not a bomb. It appears to be a firework that the Joker threw. It's lit up over the river and is drifting down. It appears to spell out a word ...
