Almost at level 14.. been hanging out near El Dolado. Would it be possible to become a resident? I promise to make a sizable donation.

Invitation sent.

I believe we now have enough room for all non-adventurers to be part of a town. Adventurers don't need to be part of the town to sleep for free, and we can rotate them still for donation purposes. If we find out we are short, we'll upgrade more.

Can't speak for the other adventurers, but I do wanna be a resident at some point, just so I can duel if the need arises to throw down.

I haven't gotten high enough to contribute to the group effort as of yet, but seems like there could be a lot of fun had once there's a big enough allied group of players at the higher levels.
And how do I pull off this feat? World 8 wasn't open when I created my char.

Doubtful based on past history. More likely that the break up is followed by only a handful of FOFC'ers eventually playing the game long term.

Absolutely. At present we should have the space for temporary residence even for adventurers for whatever purpose. The intention is to have enough space for the adventurers too on a permanent basis. We'll probably need to be level 5 at both towns to have enough room for everyone plus spares for shopping invites.

Okay, dumb question.

When you guys are asked, is it by accepting a duel? I know you can challenge people to duel but is there something seperate for attacking?

I didnt think dueling was voluntary. if you choose to duel someone, youre the attacker and they have no choice, afaik.

If you just created your char, it must have been temporarily disabled. It's definitely open at the moment. Thing is with world 8 and 9, it's an either-or kind of thing. You cannot have a character in both worlds...

Just checked, and yeah, Dopy would wear my ass out as well.

I reckon we could mosy on over to her town, though, and see if there's any weak sisters there we can punish for Dopy's transgressions. Dont' know if we want to go down that road while we're both armed with wet noodles though.

Crim - Just come DP people with me. I am attacking the weak presently. I look for small towns and go after their top guy assuming he's weaker then I. I am a bully and I love it.

Dopy belongs to Lakeview. 28 residents, 14 of them are higher lvl than me... all the way up to lvl 33.

That means there are 14 of em whose ass I can prolly whip, though. I'll wait for word for our town elders, though, I don't want to start a war if we're not ready for it, and I don't think we are.

We should just join towns and start wars and leave.

we are definitely not. If that dopy attacked a worker like that, they will likely all attack workers and then we'll be in trouble. I'd say get your dueling level up by attacking small towns and such and someday we might need you. By then, we might have something better than noodles to fight with.

Since I'm a soldier, is it better for me to save money to buy weapons, or donate to the town?

given the fact you just donate $759, you can save up some for a bit and get yourself a nice weapon over at La Vie Boheme.

Telegram Troglodyte with "FOFC shopping visit" as the subject of your telegram, and tell him I sent you. He should hook you up for a shopping visit and you'll only have to donate $100 in their treasury.

Should we be working on the gunsmith and general store to level 2 next? Both seem like they should be pretty quick.

yeah, these could work. I'm a bit bummed that our guys are kind of outgrowing whatever we get available in the shops tough. Like the level two of either of these stores might not bring anything real valuable. Just finished the gunsmith level 4 in the French world and we only got the rusty shot gun and my son, the dueler of us two, had already found one while working, heh...

Anyway, yeah, these two should be quick to get done, which is the good news. Means if we are thinking of level 2 buildings as "easy" to get done, we are growing in terms of workers.

Up to level 18. I am on my way to my first duel. Guys name escapes me but he's like a level 13 or 14 and the highest level in his town of 2 or 3. Figure he's a good target for now.

Mind posting here what they've got for sale? I've been saving up towards a rusty shotgun, but if there's something better there I may just save a bit longer (don't want to buy the gun then be looking for an upgrade in just a day or two).

I picked the adventurer/trader route. (Actually prospector subclass not that it makes a difference). The trading skills route opens up some very lucrative (but highly dangerous) jobs at higher levels so I was basically shooting for being a bread winner for the towns. My LP is probably not even worth mentioning at this point.

Also,
Can I get an invite to Troutville to do some shopping? Please and thank you.
