Barring some late vote switches tonight, I have a feeling we are striking out on getting a Thing tonight. Anxiety (who I cast the lone vote for) is the only person currently with votes that I think has a chance to end up netting us a Thing and an extended day.

I don't know for sure, Tanglewood. Just playing percentages at this point. But I think there are very likely 2 or more UTR guys as Things. And Anxiety is my best stab at the moment. Partly based on late movement last night, partly based on the fact that there is not a scenario I've concocted yet that absolutely clears him. And we are getting late enough in the game where that matters for me.

I can see a few strands raised in the last few pages that all seem to make sense to me. Anxiety as the typical UTR conversion target, Barkeep as a likely conversion target, Coffee not being able to be protected two nights running so very possible he is a Thing, Hoops being too perfect to be a mere mortal human.

Where are we vote-wise right now?
By my calculations, a tie looks very possible and that would not be cool. |

Cronin, I know you want to move votes to Coffee/Blade. I don't think this is the right play for today. I know voting for me is not the right play for today.
I would be more willing to listen to arguments of Barkeep as a recent convert or hope to persuade the guys on the fence that Anxiety is a more viable option. |

I think we can assume that Dubb and WVU are not going to be here, so mckerney, Barkeep, and Tanglewood are likely deciding this one.

Oh and I'm a fan of testing Anxiety as well. Just don't seem the votes to be there to do that.

I think it's probably about 50-50 that Coffee was converted, and those are the best odds I have to go for anyone, so I'm leaning against voting for him. I'd like to vote Anxiety again, but again there's not enough of a bandwagon there. Hoops is someone I've been somewhat suspicious of for a while, but am on the fence about voting for. Barkeep on the other hand seems like an obvious choice for conversion. He was thought of as a cleared human on night one, I don't see the things going this long without trying to convert him.

I think we are striking out here tonight, but out of the three leading vote getters Barkeep is the one I suspect the most (and he is in my bottom 1/3).
Guys, if you want to make a late push for Anxiety it has to be now. |

UNVOTE ANXIETY
VOTE BARKEEP I'm 100% sure I'm not a Thing, only about 80-90% sure on Barkeep. So I'm going with the lesser of two evils to avoid a last-second double-cross. |

Barkeep, make me the case for CW and hoops for me again? Even though I hate to change my vote, since it is always scrutinized, you have me thinking.

D'oh!
UNVOTE BARKEEP VOTE ANXIETY OK, now lets see if I can use the bonus round to convinced people to move this direction. Tangle, sorry about casting a stone there. I made a bad assumption that we were playing with the same deadline as the last few nights and failed reading comprehension. |

By the way, I know I keep doing this, but today is my wife and my anniversary. I'm currently making grilled dungeness crab with herb butter and steak au poivre. I'm hoping to do the results right after the deadline, but it might be a little later.

I think the fact that we have no information in this game is just very frustrating for the humans, it makes everyone's opinion seem possible and very difficult to weed out faulty reasoning. I can just go through whole pages and say to myself about every person, well I can see where he's coming from on that vote, which is very irritating. Perhaps a change of tack may be best. We are all sure that there is at least one original thing out there. If there were three at the start or Qwik was not a thing, then there are two. So, rather than trying to go after potential converts, which ijust seems to causing chaos at the moment as everyone is a suspect all the time, we should go back to trying to hit the original(s). Confirmed NOT original Thing: Coffee Warlord (Seer) Raiders Army (Seer) Dubb (Clean) Blade (Brilliant) Swaggs (Brilliant) JeeberD (Duke) Possible original Thing, voted for Saldana: Barkeep mckerny Path Possible original Thing, didn't vote for Saldana: WVUFan Anxiety Cronin Tanglewood If we want a comprimise, I'd say pick an UTR guy from the last list. Obviously I listed myself there, but I feel that I did vote for Saldana, at least I intended to. For any of the lawyers out there, I had the Mens Rea if not the Actus Reus. At this point I'm going to voting for Anxiety, I've spotted a few inconsistencies that I'll post up together in a min or two. Vote Anxiety |

Very solid post, except I do not agree that there is still one original Thing out there. I think the originals were Qwik and saldana. |
