No, he told me to watch the commercial at the end, so naturally I skipped ahead to the commercial and watched it, waiting for some kind of hilarity, which, ultimately, did not ensue.

Damn you, JPhillips, my co-workers are concerned for my well-being after hearing my pitiful attempts to stifle laughter after that one.

Just came here to post the BSG clip and somebody beat me to it.

Anyone know where this tune came from?? My friends and I can't figure out what it's called and who did it originally... for some reason, I was thinking it's from a videogame...

On an August morning in 1978, French filmmaker Claude Lelouch mounted a gyro-stabilized camera to the bumper of a Ferrari 275 GTB and had a friend, a professional Formula 1 racer, drive at breakneck speed through the heart of Paris. The film was limited for technical reasons to 10 minutes; the course was from Porte Dauphine, through the Louvre, to the Basilica of Sacre Coeur.

No streets were closed, for Lelouch was unable to obtain a permit.

The driver completed the course in about 9 minutes, reaching nearly 140 MPH in some stretches. The footage reveals him running real red lights, nearly hitting real pedestrians, and driving the wrong way up real one-way streets.

Upon showing the film in public for the first time, Lelouch was arrested. He has never revealed the identity of the driver, and the film went underground until a DVD release a few years ago.

Crazy.
Though the entire time I watched it, I couldn't help but think, "Man this sounds just like Rad Racer" (at least, the engine and tire noise).

Yeah, that looks exactly like one of the many racing games.

Lelouch has stated that he used his own Mercedes, and time lapsed the film to appear faster, and dubbed in the sounds, to make it sound like it was a Ferrari.

Makes sense, I wasn't quite buying the sound, mostly the constantly squealing tires.

How much did he pay the birds to take off at slow speed?

Saw this on youtube. I have to link it because the video is really stupid but it is the comments that are really funny. Anyone who says it's good gets a real happy reply and anyone who thinks it's bad gets called a bunch of names.

(I have never seen this before if it has already been posted)

Added bonus, she's also really cute.
