I'm playing mommy/babysitter and DD at the bachelorette party tomorrow (hey she's my best friend, I can't let her die from alcohol poisoning) so I'm doing a bit of drinking tonight. I picked up some DiSarrono on the way home. Gosh is this stuff good. I also have wine and the Captain in case I get bored with this.

And for dessert? Chocolate Chip Cookie Cream Liquer.

Gonna try a new bottle of wine I picked up at Costco. It was ranked a 92 by Wine Spectator, and it was only $11 for a bottle.

Three and a half hour dola. On a Friday night. I'm disappointed in my fellow posters in this thread.

The wine is AWESOME. It easily could fetch $40 per bottle. If you have a Costco nearby, the name is 'Domaine de Nizas'. It is a 2002 vintage, a mixture of 60% syrah, 35% mourvedre, and 5% grenache. It was only $11 per bottle. I'm glad I picked up several bottles, sight unseen. I let it aerate in the decanter for about an hour, and it really opened up. I had it with some chicken fajitas, and it was fabulous. I'm finishing off the bottle now, and the stuff is incredible. I'm going to head back to Costco tomorrow, hopefully there will be a few bottles left to add to my collection.

Okay, I just got home recently.within the hour...I am FUCKED UP..My plan is to smoke a cigarette and then go crawl into bed and pass out.

My claim to fame tonight is that I impressed my rock star friends with my slide guitar playing...I've learned a lot in a short amount of time with it. It feels great. Being sober during the whole week helps my dexterity. I just hope my songwriting prevents me from ever having to find a broadcasting job...I fear i'd have to suck too much corporate dick. CJHEERs

Been drinking wine all night and am at a very nice place right now!

Really considering taking a summer wine class now. My buddy took it in the fall. The school busses you to a local winery, you drink for 8 hours, then come home. Last's a month or so. How can you go wrong with that!

on another hand matthew fox cabernet sauvignon, circa 2005 from cali = excellent. especially when you can pick it up for $3.84 a bottle at the local discount store. if they were open now i'd go pickup a case, they sell it even cheaper if you do it that way.
