What direction do you want to move? I think we should start moving further on and my best guess says if we move left, we'll do that. Going forward will only keep us in the second ring of the lighter bricks, parallel to the starting wall.

Now that I have the Shield +1, can I use it and wield my staff still? Or does using a staff (which I believe is a two-handed weapon, correct me if I am wrong) negate the possibility of using the shield in concert with the staff?

Awesome. So I screwed up and took us back to a room Ragone has already been, and not to the darker bricks like I intended. I really hate starting in corners. I also hate rooms in the middle of dungeons with only two apparent exits.

So what's the deal with this altar thing?

Looks like I need torches, too. We'll have to discuss the Djinn sale. I am thinking maybe just giving you the shield back, so we can sell it and the kusari-gama. That might give us enoguh gold to buy a couple horse figurines and at least get back one of the days my dumbass decision just cost us.
