Your map doesn't match with dubb's. His shows that the room below the study is L4, yours says it's L3. Not the first time this game it's happened.

Each of you is magically suspended and then teleported to the chamber dubb has just entered.


You see dubb moving into the Dungeon's Arena. Today, he will face one player is man-to-man combat, and the winner wins and gets 50% of the XP total of their foe. The loser has died.

As dubb steps into the Arena, one player is magically chosen by the Dungeon Staff to face him.


The Rules:

1). You choose the closest person in level to our intrepid player
2). You choose the closest class to him when tied.
3). Roll randomly if multiple peopel make that


dubb is level 9. No one else is. DO we have any player that are level 8? Ragone is and then.......nope.


So Ragone teleports to the middle. Today, for one day only, it's paladin vs paladin. The winner will gain enough XP to win, and the loser......doesnn't.

dubb - 54/90, 12 ThaACO, +3 to hit, +3 to damage with "Daystar", +3 polatemail, =1 AC Cloak of Protection - 4 heal potions, bundle fo herbs,

So, dubb is a lot harder to hit, but has fewer bonuses to hit, and does a little less damage:

dubb needs, to hit Ragone, a 6 on a d20

Ragone needs, to hit dubb, a 9 on a d20

Now here's teh question for dubb. He has 5 hp. Does he swing now to hit Ragone, or eat Herbs now? He wants to play it safe, because if he misses, Ragone has a chance to win next turn, no sense leaving a healign item on teh table.

He swings his sword. Up and over. He needs at least a 6 and he rolls...12 and that's a hit, but ragone has 7 hp. If dubb rolls a 1, 2, or 3, Ragone ain;t dead.....
