We learn nothing from a duel IMO. unvote St. Cronin vote Blade I am not in love with this but I think it is important we only kill one guard member today if we screw up. |

You don't think blade is suspicious? blade is involved in all the duel possibilities, so your comment on killing only one guard makes no sense. Do you know that blade is a good guy? If so, speak up. |

The other bad guy could be any number of you. I really only trust LSG. |

M. Grenier calls you to attention and explains that the dueling rights prevail over the vote. M. Blade will get the duel that MME. LSG accepted originally. That duel is locked.
With that, the pistols are handed out and the combatants stand back to back. Upon the command they spin and fire. MME. LSG gets her shot off first and hits M. Blade in the leg. He fumble with his weapon and fires, striking her a slight blow that grazes her left shoulder as she ducks. They meet with swords drawn pitting wits and steel against each other. MME. LSG hits Blade twice opening wounds on his torso. But he battles back and has her up against the wall delivering a serious wound to her mid section. But MME. LSG turns the tables and beats back Blades basic attacks. But Blade defends her quite well and tires the other fighter to the point of exhaustion. But MME. Finally breaks through Blades defenses and runs him through the heart. Blade is dead. Hmm. M.Grenier says, that leaves us with a less than majority vote on M. DaddyTorgo and no second place candidate. M. Grenier, says “that leaves us with no lynch today fellow guardsman. Sleep on it and we shall meet again on the morrow. You rush to Blades room and search his armoire. You see a slightly used red sash of office, signifying Cardinals Guard. But you root around and also find a box of forged passports and bogus investigative documents, M. Blade appears to be a forger and a liar, You also find a BLUE sash, the man is a Musketeer! Blade is a Black Musketeer and the Spy. |

Morning arrives and you all head to the mess hall and eat some cheese, drink some wine and chat about the recent duels. After a while, you notice the brash fellow Tyrith has not arrived for his morning meal. Maybe he is out practicing his thrusts and parrys? Or maybe he was too busy last night.
You think better of it and decide to check his room. You find the door ajar and cautiously enter. Inside you find the headless body of Tyrith propped up against the wall. He is shirtless and has two eyes carved into his chest with a large grinning mouth sweeping under the bloody orbs. On the table you see a half empty wine carafe and some cheese. You rush to search his armoire and find a well worn red sash, signifying Cardinals Guard. You look around a bit more and find a list of students and their marks received in fencing. Tyrith was Cardinals Guard, the Fencing Master |

If anyone has anything left, now is the time to spill it.
One musketeer left out of 6 of us. Some voting analysis would really help. It would seem there is something to tonights vote, but hard for me to tell right off the bat. Also, Tyrith, you had me very confused with how you played as the BG. I'm sorta glad they took you out as I had an extremely hard time trusting you. |

I want everyone to state what their power is today. We need to pick this apart. I have my suspicions, but will wait to post them.
Also, I am pretty sure it was CW that was blackmailing path. |

I am the Lieutenant of the Cardinals Guard. I was recently promoted, which wasn't known to any of the other Guard. Once I reveal my letter of promotion, I can change the target once per game.

I have no power. I have not interacted with anybody at night. We have ...
st.cronin LSG Fouts ntndeacon DaddyTorgo Lathum That's the order in which I trust the remaining players. LSG I trust because of what happened yesterday. Fouts I trust because he is the duke. Lathum I trust slightly less than the other two because both ntn and DT spent nights in their chambers when people were getting killed. vote Lathum |

I trust LSG and myself. DT and NTN were watched one night. That leaves st.cronin and Lathum. From reading the thread and watching the votes, I'm inclined to trust st.cronin more than Lathum.
vote Lathum |

I am not at all surprised by this but let me point a few things out.
Quote:
I was the first person to call out CW the next morning, a move I didn't have to do at the time. If I was a musketeer I have nothing to gain by this move. I'm not sure why anyone would suspect me when there are other candidates out there but if you wanna waste a vote go ahead. Quote:
so I am a bad guy but I am going to vote CW and point a finger at Blade in the same post? I wouldn't call that a smart move. I then onvote CW and vote Blade, again, I have never seen a bad guy vote for 2 other bad guys the same day. Quote:
another quote from me long before it was a foregone conclusion about Blade or CW. Actually Blade was quite trusted at this point. post 1679 I unvote Blade and vote CW making it a 3-3 tie between me and CW and setting up a potentian duel. If I was a bad guy this makes no sense for me to dueal another bad guy!!!! I would have been better off voting elsewhere and hoping for a duel between myself and a good guy. At the time the vote was 3-3-1 with Blade having the other vote. If we were all bad why would we vote for each other. We would have been better suited with at least 2 of us voting somewhere else to set up a duel with a good guy. That way if Blade or CW won nobody could identify anyone as a bad guy. Go back and look at the voting. It is IMPOSSIBLE for me to be a musketeer. Add in the fact St. Cronin switched his vote 6 times in 2 days and now you are trying to get an early run on me. |

OH YEAH AND BY THE WAY. THIS WAS THE FIFTH AND DECIDING VOTE ON BLADE!!!! I DON'T CARE WHAT ANYONE SAYS, THERE IS NO WAY AT THIS POINT IN THE GAME A BAD GUY IS CASTING THE DECIDING VOTE ON ANOTHER BAD GUY WHEN WE HAVE THE POSSIBILITY OF A DUEL!!!! I can't for the life of me understand peoples suspicons. I used my ability night 2 then have done nothing except call out known bad guys. We have a poisining, St. Cronin dissapeard, then the night after he is back from church we have another poising from communion wine!! VOTE ST> CRONIN I'll be around most of the day to chat. |

You know what...why are we trusting LSG? Blade cleared her, and she dueled blade when it was obvious he was getting lynched. She is the only vanilla villager around, and her voting history is terrible. Any thoughts on LSG? |

I had similar thoughts but I don't want to appear I am trying to throw suspicoun everywhere. St. Cronin came out of the gate firing at me so I stated my reasons why it is impossible for me to be bad then I stuck with my suspicouns on him. That being said I am not unwilling to change my vote but we need to be sure. IMO considering all the blade/lsg duel talk I think Cronin is a better candidate for today, especialy if he is the one doing the poisining. If it is an every other night type ability the game could actually be over for us by morning. |

I figure, I will be able to post the day results sometime between 2am and 10am. Then, how about a night round until Sunday at 6am? Usually everyone is getting their actions in pretty quickly. We can stretch it to monday if need be.

I'm not really "firing away" at you. There are good reasons not to vote for anybody (other than maybe me). But again, you are not understanding that I was around at night. Check my posts. I did not post for 2 days and 1 night, and that night I was able to post, I just didn't. If I were really absent at night, how would that posting pattern make any sense? |

Cronin, all we have about you being around at night is your word. IF I had your role I would have made sure I posted at night so people were fully aware of all the mechanics of my role. The fact that you didn't publish the fact you could communicate at night actually ratchet my suspicoun of you up even more, it just seems sneaky. Add to that the fact that you made a grand announcment when you returned which may have cost us a block that night from our bodyguard.
