So Tangle: did you get a particular glee out of accusing people of not using logic?

Well, the tanglewood thing was amusing. But I think it's greatest positive affect on the bad guys will tomorrow, instead of today. The momentum was already heading towards gram before the fake reveal. Gram's late vote switches to kill villagers might have brought us to this same conclusion tomorrow.
Tanglewood as Dr. R now seems to make sense. Thus, creating a gram/tangle debate was pretty clever - the bad guys would win either way the vote turned out. (It's interesting that Swags encouraged everyone to vote for one or the other) The bad guys didn't waste time on trying to identify the "mark" for tomorrow. |

Gram's wrong about me, and since he was a Mason, it seems statistically likely that his other choice, Barkeep, is a wolf.

You might want to wait until the night actions are posted. But I do appreciate your confidence, wolf, in my not being killed by your fiendish friends tonight.

Well some of us are trying to win rather than just survive. But yes if all you want is survival consider it mission acomplished. Unless the wolves get you. In which case it's mission failure for not making yourself into a target via excess statements.

Again you awake at dawn, horrified to discover that once again one of your number has not joined you - this morning it is Swaggs whose bloody corpse you discover, with the following cryptic message written on the wall in blood: "Evil will always triumph because Good is STUPID!"
A search of his home reveals that he is a simple villager. You eye each other warily - only 8 left! How many of you are wolves? edited to reveal role Last edited by st.cronin : 08-21-2006 at 11:39 PM. |

VOTE MOLSON vote Molson people. Molson than Barkeep (quite suspicious the evil took Swaggs and not him...that is unless you buy that Barkeep is a wolf too)...then tanglewood |

I think this game's over. At this point, the wolves/bad guys alone can pretty much vote me out themselves.

How is it suspicious? I am one of the top two people with a target on my back. AND I WAS THE MOST VOCAL, BY FAR, ABOUT KILLING TANGLE WHO IS A CONFIRMED BAD GUY. I presented the math showing that voting for Tangle was in our best interest and it was ignored. If molson turns out to be bad, as I think he is, turning on me next is not the best idea. |

well i know i'm a normal villager, and we're already down one mason, so what are the odds that you're NOT another mason and yet still a normal villager? not great IMO. you've had a target on your back for days and yet no one has seen fit to knock you off, the whole time? seems suspicious, especially with Swaggs gone now. |

And since you asked: 8 players left. Presumably: 3 villagers 1 mason 2 wolves 1 Dr. R I think it's safe to assume Tangle is Dr. R. If you are a villager (something I have no reason to believe but since it's your question I will postulate) then the odds of me being a simple villager? 1/3 That's right the answer really is 1/3. Quik would be proud. |

I apologize in the numbers above there should be 3 wolves. Doesn't change the fact that in Daddy's world there is a 1/3 shot that I'm a simple villager.

interesting barkeep...interesting. mind you i'm not advocating a dash to lynch you right away, we have to take care of molson and tangle first (at least those two should be fairly obviously bad).

Wow, I have missed tons here. My head is still spinning from all the back and forth. Okay, I pretty much suspect everyone. You're all bad; st. cronin is just keeping the game going for kicks.
Hmm, seriously now, if tanglewood is Dr. R., can we use his voting patterns to help us further here? We can't trust what he said about the different players he scanned (one of whom was me, actually--said his view of me was blocked), but what he really learned may have helped him pick who he voted for. I definitely see points in following Gram's last posts as a guide, though. I'm not sure what good it does to kill tanglewood right now, because other than his vote, what little good for the wolves can he do right now. The wolves will want him dead as soon as they believe his vote won't matter. Given today's results, he already pulled his last card, and can do no more harm, I think (since none of us will believe him). So I will go with Gram's last post and... VOTE MOLSON I have a lot of doubts about Barkeep and still about Sndvls as well, but Molson has way too much going against him now to be ignored. Alas, I will be away all day Tuesday as well, so this vote will likely stand. But I will check in briefly in the morning, in case someone rpesents a compelling reason to change my vote.

One of the typical vet mistakes I've noticed in this game if the stating of things with in an aura of overconfidence that others tend to believe. Gram didn't do the villagers ANY favors by insisting that that I'm lynched. Since he was a mason, that gives the surviving villagers reason to believe that he KNEW that. It's clear that I won't be able to convince you otherwise, but you'll see he was wrong, and that stating things in absolutes when he really has no idea will be the last straw in this game. |

To any of the surviving villagers out there-
Does it concern you AT ALL that there has been zero dissention on the "lynch molson" campaign? Think about it - there's 8 left, up to 4 of them are evil. If I were evil, don't you think that those 4 people, HALF of the remaining players, would be trying to offer other theories at this point? Right now, we're heading towards a 7-1 or 6-2 vote - don't you see how a vote of that margin is GUARANTEED to be wrong at this point? The bad guys have a ton of voting power right now. This discussion would be VERY different if I were evil. |

End games tend to be very quiet. Which is always disappointing as you put forth all this effort and then games seem to fizzle at the end. Not sure how this can be avoided, but there you go.
