Really happy Eifert didn't end up in Atlanta as the eventual Tony G replacement.

Does th NFL netwrok have a deal not ot talk bad about stuff? This guy just said the packers should grab a RB or S, those fit their needs and the board, and then they take a DE and he calls him a prefect fit for the Packers.

Unless someone trades up, Geno will have to wait until tomorrow. I wish we just went back to all Saturday draft.

Yup even worse in my opinion is they are trying to trade up with the Pats (that never works out for the trading partner in the end history shows). They are dangling a 2nd , 3rd and 4th to move up to trade for Te'o. Holy fuck Belicheat is the devil.

Looking at those 4 mocks I mentioned earlier, the only B10 player I see mentioned was Travis Frederick, C,Wisconsin. (1 guy had him to Indy with the pick that just passed).

Point being, I guess this isn't really a surprise except that it just sounds sorta odd to think about.

And shocking, the Patriots traded out.

Ouch. Suddenly Cordarelle Patterson thinks Tyler Bray might not have been quite so bad after all

I love the draft for the Vikings today. THanks for making what I thought was going to be a pretty bla night into a fun one for a Vikings fan. I just tuned in for the last 10 picks while following only a little for the first 20.

How are they able to produce the jerseys so quickly? Stack of jerseys with all iron-on names in attendance?

Wonder what teams with veteran QB might be taking a new look at that position. Once past the first round, the stigma gets lessened, usually.

If JAX wants a guy, they're probably shocked at their luck.

Vikes knocked it out of the park IMO. Filled a big need inside on the D-line with a pick that wasn't expected to be around, bolstered the secondary and got a receiver who is raw, but can take the top off of a defense. Very happy with their first round.

So, the Pats traded the 29th pick in the draft for a 2nd rounder, a 3rd rounder, a 4th rounder, and a 7th rounder...

Apparently they're trying to collect all the rounds except the first for a synergy bonus

I got to say, the Vikings got a LOT better. People want to talk about losing Harvin... well, he seemed to spend more time off the field than on it. Jennings & Patterson should overall be an upgrade in terms of consistent production. The DT was something that is huge, and their secondary has potential to be excellent... which is needed with Green Bay and Calvin Johnson around. (Notice I didn't say "Detroit?" Nobody fears anything but Megatron here.)

Speaking of Detroit... complete boom-or-bust pick. If he booms, it's phenomenal. If he busts it could lead to a new regime.
