15/06/13 – Everton Sniffing
Everton have been sniffing around fullback Jordan Spence. We've issued a hands off warning and hope that will be the end of it. Nolan Out? We're offering Kevin Nolan to clubs for £1m, hoping to try and get his £58,000 per week salary off the books. I am confident a midfield of Anakoglou (when healthy), Collison, Noble and Gibson can do a job for us. 18/06/13 – Spence Ups Jordan Spence has put pen to paper on a new four year deal worth £3.5m 24/06/13 – Prem / Champo Review 25/06/13 – West Ham Review Fans' Player of the Year West Ham supporter spokesperson, Craig Hart has announced that Dimitris Anakoglou has been voted West Ham's Player of the Year by fans. Best Eleven GK: Stockdale, DL: Aldrete, DC: Tomkins, De Laet, DR: Spence, MC: Gibson, Collison, Anakoglou, ST: Cole, Acquafresca, Piquionne TV Rights West Ham will receive £45.99m for Premier League television rights over the upcoming season. Board Expectations The West Ham United board is expecting the club to finish within the top half this season. I guess I overshot myself by finishing 13th. We'll see how this goes.

Board Confidence To summarize, the board is very pleased with the overall leadership of the club. The capture of Benjamin Stambouli, who the fans believe to be an extremely good player, has been particularly pleasing. Despite the positives, the 1-0 Carling Cup defeat to Stoke City cannot be ignored and the fans have voiced their discontent as a result. The club recorded a loss of £741k last month.
