It's too dark to see really anything more than a few steps in front of you, so looking in other directions isn't necessary. If there is something around that you'd be able to see by turning your head in a circle you'll notice it.

VOTE NTNDEACON

A spread-out vote doesn't do us a whole lot of good, and I would feel bad voting for clap on the first day again.

I agree that we probably shouldn't let the vote spread too much. I'll transpose my vote on chesapeake to Pass. for now:

The Jester appears above everyone sitting in an armchair, just in time to hear RendeR speak.

He raises a brow and shoots down out of the sky next to RendeR.

"I LIKE this one."

He cackles and disappears.

I'd say no one has really done anything worth convincing for.

claphamsa had a painful experience after eating a peanut, but we don't really know any other side effects.
RendeR was talking funny and then the Jester said he liked him, but that could be meaningless.

Mostly seems like Jackal is playing along with us, which is cool -- in character GM interaction, soundly written, can add a lot of fun and flavor to a game. Although there might be some secret side effect to what clap did, but since none of us know anything about the roles I'm not going to get too obsessed with that.

Now it's a 4-way tie at 2 votes. What a normal D1 mess. At least it's more useful than 1 or 2 person bandwagon.

Lathum moved us to a four way tie. It's early days, but that's as suspicious as anything on Day One.

dola- I will add though Abe is saying making it a 4 way tie is suspicous but so is bringing a new candidate into the fold instead of picking someone with 2 votes already...

If I was forced to choose right now I'd probably vote for Pass - Render is being funny, ntn and DT I haven't gotten to play with for a long, long time. Plus I told ntn after I got him D1 lynched (FINALLY!) eons ago I'd stop doing it for a while, and this has probably on been about 5 games for me after that :P Pass came in as a substitute which means he's probably got less investment in the game -- not that any of us have much on the line right now. It sucks, but someone's gotta die.

Haha, that'd be a hilariously awful role to have. Probably a good reason to keep him around -- usually the amusing roles go to the good guys.

Ok this is Shakespeare. Merchant of Venice.

I was going to mention KWhit's Cruise performance. Interestingly enough, KWhit was a wolf in that game.

Iago is the character, he was a villain I believe.

Prince Arragon speaking to Portia in Merchant of Venice.

I have no clue as to the relevance, but the bolded line sounds like "I'm a villager, if you lynch me you get what you deserve." Of course a Duke or a Brutal wolf could say that with extra meaning.
