He needs to fire a coach before he can offer the job to a new coach. Just double click on the coach and use the fire coach button. Then it will be possible to offer the new coach a position. The team export will catch all of this so the commish shouldn't have to do anything other than import the file.

HR, If you're interested, we need one more spot filled to have a nice round number.

I was thinking about it. Remind me where the openings are.

Both IU's and OSU are taken in the B10, but everything else is open in that conference.

*chuckles* we'll be running a while, Dutch.

Got 6-7 exports to take care of before work.

And HR, if you wish to join us, you'd be welcome, more then welcome. Just take a team in one of the existing conferences up above and let me know, I'll set you up

Ouch. This has me thinking scouting is a good deal more important for the head coach than I thought.

That's because it will allow you to look at recruits better, and better judge their talent. Same with opposing teams, I would think as well

The way I figure it, that's why I have a scouting coordinator.

Foz: All players on teams in the game have their ACTUAL ratings displayed. Your own personal scouting rating, and your scouting director's rating only matter for RECRUITS.

Took me a while to clear that one up with HR, so figured I'd try and let everyone know.

(If I am wrong on this, feel free to let me know).

Imported Ohio St, so I'm all caught up.

Anyway, to more important issues..

Anyone want to take on the BC Eagles and the "3-3 Ballers" (The nickname for my 3 point trio of Jagnteufl, Courtney, and Lester?)

Either export a file with your coaching bids, or let me know no bids.. that way, if everybody gets back to me, I can run the sim early.

I said it before, but it was in with other stuff, so just in case you missed it, UCLA is fine with their assistant coaches and not doing a bid this time.
