All the more reason for PB to leave his vote if Abe is a wolf. If he makes a late switch it makes both of them look bad. With PB being the leading vote getter there is no reason for him to move his vote as his "death" helps the wolves in a way. Personally this post alone makes me wonder about KWhit at this point. Hopefully he's just using misguided logic. |

Too bad we didn't get a wolf, but getting the sorcerer is a nice bit of conciliation.

Well nailing the sorceror is pretty good - and now we can get down to the real business of killing wolves. I have to say the timing of the last three votes by Abe, DT, and Kwhit seems pretty interesting, I'll have to think about what it means.

I'm so sleepy. I'm finishing up two big assignments that I have to turn in tomorrow night. I'm going to call into work sick as I probably won't finish for 5-6 more hours and will need some sleep before class.
At least one is an ungraded draft, but it's a really important assignment really trying to help a kid, so I want to get everything I have well laid out, so the professor can help guide me on where to go for the most important part coming up. |

Okay, I screwed up today, finishing up a file at work (Job #1). Finishing it ran me over on time, and I had to finish it because I am off the next two days. And I had to get to work (Job #2).
So in all the hubbub, I just flat forgot to check back in and vote. I was midway through my shift at Job #2 when I had one of those "Oh sh..!" moments. If I end up lynched for that, fair game, crappy as that would be. Interesting Day One. Getting the sorcerer is a mixed result. Better than lynching a villager, and that's with us shooting in the dark, really. So it's hard to complain. But as Schmidty noted, doesn't really improve the situation either. You have to view Abe with suspicion at this point, given PB's vote. Or at least a "person of interest". Whatever he is, the fact the Sorcerer voted for him, and it was a close vote, definitely makes him a guy we should look at. I don't know yet if that means we can depend on a scan, or if we'll have to clear him the ole fashioned way. Pass's lack of meaningful vote stands out, too. His given reason is weak, IMO. But that's also not exactly the sorta spot a wolf makes a save vote (being near deadline with a lynch in the offing). Would a smart wolf even bother to try to save a wolf on the block in that situation? Pass is smart--I'm not sure he would make that move as a wolf. But, hey, it's Day One. What the heck do we know? FTR, I have no idea who I would have voted for. I would have been inclined to not vote for Abe for the same meta-game reason as others, noting he ran a terrific Dungeon game, and I wouldn't want to bump him out so quick, so I suppose I would have voted for PB by default. But I didn't see anything wolfy in PB's posts or nothing.

Interesting that DT forced a tie with a late vote. Of course forcing a tie can shake things up, but doing it with only 20 minutes left in the voting seems a bit iffy to me.
Of course if DT is a wolf, he wouldn't have known the identity of the sorceror, but still... |

You awake and congregate at the bar (with no liquor!). Someone's missing.
DaddyTorgo. You investigate DT's house and find quite the extensive greenhouse with an array of interesting smelling plants. A blood trail leads you to the back door, where the head of DT remains, frozen in its last view. DaddyTorgo was Helen, the Seer! |

Hrm...not exactly the start we were looking for.
Is it just me, or does it seem like the Seer has bought it or been revealed on Day one, like, several games in a row? Weird...I wonder if the wolves picked up on something from DT. I don't recall anything specific myself, but then I was rushing through the thread late last night. I think I would go with the Abe vote right now, given few good other choices, although since he already has a vote, I will hold off until later. I want to see if we have anything else that might come to light.

vote Abe
Might as well test the theory that PB played it like I would have. Granted, this probably looks like a pile on vote but with my work schedule being crazy the last few days I have no idea how often I can check back in and a second no vote doesn't do me, or the village, any good as it simply sets me up for a no vote lynch. |
