I mean on defense. We need someone who can tackle Hernandez or Gronkowski.

Most , if not all teams in the AFC feel the same way.

Brady is ridiculous. Gronk + Hernandez is unfair.

I just hope that Hernandez is actually okay with Gronk getting all of the press and the TDs and just cares about winning, because IMO he's seriously overlooked as a component of the offense.

Yep, I've said it before, but he is a pro bowl TE on 90% of the teams in this league

Everyone jumps to UFC PPV. Brady gets a kickback from Dana White.

Teams play so stupid against the pats. The Broncos should have watched the Chiefs gameplan to slow down Green Bay when Jennings was out. Bracket the TE and single up on the outside. Brady will token throw it to an outside WR a few times a game but Id much rather have him throwing it there rather than letting these TEs and Welker do whatever they want.

Ive seen teams bracket TEs and Ive seen teams get a bump on Welker at the LOS to get them out of rhythm. Trying to play them straight up does not work.

For those that were wondering, yes, this is exactly like watching the Bucs get crushed week in and week out. The Broncos get to just endure this once, lucky bastards.

Ok, figured out that Denver can get back into this game with some Single Wing and the spinner series.

You can't bracket Gronk + Hernandez + Welker consistently or you'll get no pressure and the Pats will either run it against your dime front or Brady will hit the outside guys.

Plus, most teams don't go 6-deep on the DB chart without a significant drop-off in ability.

I had to go back and catch that. Too late now and probably wouldnt have mattered but it is annoying to see such lazy gameplans against great qbs. The 49ers did some things to confuse Brees earlier and different things have been done to confuse these star qbs but most teams do nothing other than lets these qbs do whatever they want.

Zoinks. And Hernandez gets some love.

Brady has just tied the full-game postseason passing TD record and he has the rest of the half left to break it.

Nuts.

You funnel/bracket Gronk into the middle of the field with safety help. You have a outside backer or DE chip Welker and cover him with your #1 corner. You play Hernandez man up with your #1 coverage safety. You single cover the outside WRs and offer very little support from the safety.

May not work but the gameplan they have isnt doing anything either. The Chiefs ran something similiar earlier this year against the Packers which caused Rodgers to look human for a game.

He doesn't have much of a choice really. Both Hernandez and Gronk are only 2nd year players. NE has them locked up for a few more years for cheap. Free Agency is not an option. He could try to hold out for a trade, but that won't work and he's probably aware of that.

Really, if he's smart, he'll ride the wave for a few years, keep making a name for himself by putting up decent numbers while defenses worry about Gronk, and cash in big in a few years when he can hit the open market.

EDIT: I also wouldn't be surprised if Belichick cashes in on Hernandez and makes a great draft day trade with him.

I am tempted to remember the Colts-Jets game in 2002 where the Jets won 41-0 in the WC game.

I would be. I think the media underestimates how much he's valued in the organization. He's massively versatile, which Beli prizes so much.

Tebow should consider not running near the LOS back towards the defensive players where they can get blindside hits on him like that. Hes lucky hes big and durable or he wouldnt make it a game playing that way.

That incompletion on 3rd and 19 may be the single worst throw I've ever seen from a QB who wasn't under pressure. That thing was wobbling like a wounded duck.

Cueing for the Tebow apologists in 3, 2, 1 ...

Belli owned this Denver staff the 2nd time around. I dont think anyone would have expected Tebow to win a game in which the Pats have 42 and counting. Pats came to play and the Broncos were outcoached IMO.

As good of a job they did making this season a successful one for the Broncos they sure didnt make things very difficult on Brady today.
