-- Ayaxacatl I decided to sue for peace and gives the Castillians some provinces in the North, the cash cow province of Honduras in the South, and every gold coin in the Aztec coffers (and the Aztec's are normally loaded with more money than they know what to do with). -- The War with Castille fails. |

-- For the first time in exactly 300 years (Aztec-Mayan Alliance of 1444) the Aztecs have formed a new alliance. This time with Portugal! -- The Aztec's will gladly aid them so long as they provide superior forces to the fights the Aztec's have back at home. |

-- The Aztec's have stabilized their relationship with Castille and the alliance with Portugal has allowed them to possibly look for new opportunities in America for conquest. -- While the Aztec's are still not the equal of the Europeans as far as military tactics and technology, the Portuguese alliance proves prosperous to keep the French and Castillians away. **END OF ACT VII** |

- King Cauhtemoc III wishes to make a name for himself. He knows that the Spanish and the French will decimate any army that he has, but his explorers tell him of a not to far away land called the Cherokee where the lands are ripe for takeover. - The King is convinced that the French could care less what the Aztecs do towards these heathens. So the Aztecs will venture forth once more with expansion in mind. - All lands gained will surely remain in Aztec control! |

There is a small sliver of land called Pensacola that the Aztecs could sneak on shore and drive deep into the heartland of North America. |

-- King Cauhtemoc III declares war on the Cherokee! -- He will lead the armies personally. -- The plan is to land 7,000 Aztec warriors on to the white sand beaches of Pensacola and let them romp inland if the opportunities present themselves. -- The Aztec Navy will then return to the homeland and retrieve a second wave of 4,000 Aztec warriors. |

-- Within the year, the Aztecs find that beating up on the Cherokee is much easier than Castilians. They take control of the entire Cherokee nation but are forced to deal with constant revolt. -- These revolts are easy to put down, but they are training on the Aztec warriors. -- The back and forth battles between the Aztec occupiers and the disobedient Cherokee rage on for years. -- The Cherokee are finally beaten after a 10 year struggle. They surrender to the Aztec once and for all in their last stronghold province of Tuskegee. -- The Aztec do not have the diplomatic strength or clout to complete any sort of Annexation, so instead they dismantle the Cherokee nation by dividing it in half with the Shawnee. -- The Aztecs take Pensacola as their own. -- And that ends the Aztec-Cherokee Wars. **END OF ACT VIII** Last edited by Dutch : 10-05-2013 at 03:00 PM. |

-- With the Cherokee Wars over, the burden on the Aztec people are now relieved. But the soldiers cannot return home fast enough. When they do, they find civilian rebellion breaking out all across the country. -- The King splits his army into two equal 10,000 soldier armies and they criss cross throughout the empire putting down revolts. This takes years to quell the violence. The Aztec's are built upon warring but their are cracks in their society that suggest they better cool it. |

-- A massive French army of some 50,000 men strormed through the Spanish territories north of the Aztec empire and wiped out all Castillians in their path. The titans are warring! -- The King knows his people are weary of war...but his soldiers are getting restless in peace and this is a great opportunity to reclaim ultra-rich Honduras before the Spaniards regain their footing. |

-- The invasion of Castilian territory extends deep into Central America to the South American territories. -- A similar tactic as used in the West Coast Seige is used. -- Honduras, Mosquito, Nicaragua, and the Panama peninsula provinces are placed under siege. -- The Aztecs learned their lesson not to abandon these provinces. |

-- Castilian forces from South American territories moved on Aztec warriors in the Panama area and defeated them soundly. -- The siege of Central America was over before it started. -- All forces were ordered back to Honduras for a final stand against the Castilians. -- Those forces were defeated in battle and a few thousand stragglers were send fleeing back into Mexico proper. **END OF ACT IX** Last edited by Dutch : 10-05-2013 at 03:24 PM. |

-- To make matters even worse. The Aztec Revolutionaries are emboldened by the presence of the Spaniards and rise up against the King again. -- The numbers are soon too much for the Kings warriors to handle and the the battered and beaten soldiers of the Honduras and Central America campaign are greatly outnumbered. -- The King tries to deal with the Revolutionaries diplomatically, but to no avail...they want the King gone for good. |

-- The Castilian sue for peace and demand a lot of Aztec territory. -- The King does not accept in hopes of getting the Castillian and Portuguese armies tangled up with Aztec revolutionaries. It's a longshot, but the King decides it's worth the effort. -- The Castilians continue to systematically take over the country and their forces are in and around Mexico City. -- The hopeful plan of entangling the Revolutionaries and the Spaniards never comes to fruition. -- The Civil War ends -- King Axayacatl II is killed. -- Prince Amacapitchli is "inaugurated" into office by the rebels. -- The new government sues for peace with the Spaniards and they accept by taking all the Aztec gold they can get their hands on. -- The Revolutionaries that took over the country are finding out just what a mess the nation really is in. The government is corrupt. There is constant bribery stunting the Aztec's ability tor rebuild. -- And new revolutionaries are popping up and forcing the old revolutionaries to produce a standing army to quell these new revolts. -- The Aztec's in Pensacola mixed it up with the Cherokee. This brought to bear the French Empire as they were aligned now with the Cherokee. -- The fighting from the Aztec's was less than stellar and the French easily destroyed the fighting forces available. -- The French began their own invasion of the Aztec Empire and landed forces in the Yukatan and invaded from the north...but for the province of Pima (in the North American territories) the French were willing to end the fighting at that. -- The Aztec's agreed. |

On 24 August 1821, representatives of the Aztec Republic signed the the Treaty of Córdoba which converted the "Aztec Empire" into the "Mexican Empire".
The nation of Mexico is formed, not from hostilities with "a great enemy from the sea" but from out of it's own people from a "lost world". THE END. NOTE: In the real world, signs of the Aztec's survive to this day all across Mexico. Many people still speak the Aztec language (Nahuatl) in villages around Mexico City. Also, of note, words from the Nahuatl language are present in everyday American life..."Coyote", "Chile", "Mesquite", "Peyote", "Tomato", "Chipotle", "Guacamole", "Tequila", "Chocolate" are not Spanish words or North American Native words, but Aztec words. To this day, there are places that are named after what the Aztec called them. Guatemala, Yucatan, Tlaxcala, Tabasco, and last but not least, "Mexico" were Nahuatl/Aztec words and names. Thanks for reading! |
