Stats
Offensive Passing – QB Tony Rhem – 329 of 527, 3891, 26:7, 95.8 QB Rating, 14 sacks His sack number is down, but he was out for most of a game for the others. His TDs need to be better. Rushing RB Francisco Mansell – 275 for 1204,4.38 ypc, 6 rush TD QB Tony Rhem – 81 for 443, 5.47 ypc, 3 TDs RB Devin Wheeler – 44 for 28 and 3 scores Mansell was 4th in rush yards, and down in YPC and Rush scores. Receiving Barber my only 1000+ rec in a down year for Rhem. Zercie was very close though. You can see Derr and rookie Kirwan. I have three 60+ WR, one 80+ and two 60+ TE and we need to do better than this. Blocking OG Terry Freitas – 32 KRB of 94 KRO, 4 pancakes, 2 sacks allowed OC Bryce Jackson – 29 of 114, 2, 2 sacks allowed OT Don Cortez – 27 of 73, 1, 7 sacks allowed OG Luis Hanks – 25 of 72, 3 sacks allowed OT Gerald O’Neill – 12 starts, 7 of 25, 0 sacks allowed This was a down year for my O Line, Jackson should have down better. To be fair I started two rookies. Special Teams K Rabbitt – 38 of 45, Long of 52, 47 of 49 PAT Not bad P Petherick – 88 punts, 46.8 avg, 37 in 20 That is a nasty in 20 average and he led the league. CB Richard Bruce – 43 PR, 10.7 avg, 2 PR RET TD Nasty year for Bruce

Defense
Thomason and Norton tied in tackles to lead my team. My best sacks was 7.5 by DE Bullock, the rookie. FS Weber led my team with 4 FF. Pass Coverage Thomason and nickelback Schwake led my team in 4 picks each. We had LOADS of pasdef this year and Weber led the league in pasdef.

The 2028 FA Period #1
I cannot sign my RFAs as we are 9.65 mill under the cap and we need that for my rookie class Who is coming up with 1 year left of value? P Petherick LS Glenn WR Zercie ILB Sutton TE Hoffman WR Barber C Jackson WR Frohbieter – who has dropped to 50/50 RB Wheeler RB Hawthorne OT Kurtz CB Anderson who boomed to 67/67 OG Cunningham SS Thomason DE Spatz I want to sign Anderson with a deal he wants just 38 mill over 5 years which is cheap Jackson wants an increase in his cap hit to extend him by 5 years. I can find a new C and other than one year he’s never really excelled. I’ll let him go next year. I drop Thomason by two million to extend him a year, he’s 32 and won’t be my best option for too long. I sign some RFAs with the money saved I extend Barber and drop his cap hit by 5 mill. I could extend Zercie and drop my cap hit by 2 mill but I don’t know that that is worth it for a guy as inconsistent as him. Frohbieter wants 18 mill for 3 years which I could do instead, but that’s not enough for this year. RB Wheeler just wants 8.8 for 3 years. I could extend Mansell by another year and drop him from 16 to 11 but that’s a big risk I sign CB Ben Anderson I’ll let Kurtz finish his contract. I extend Petherick and save a mill. I also extend LS Glenn I have 3.8 mill in cash available. I extend WLB Harvey McDaniel for another year. And TE Hoffman as well. Oh and QB Groff. Lets’ look at the draft and then make these decisions I need (right now) Starting WR for either Zercie or Frohbieter OG – Backup C – Starter LB – Backup LB – Starter for Sutton 2 CB – Backup We pick 1.24 There is a stud C on the board I interview and he came back underrated so I hope to target him at 1.24 if available. His name is Duane Vail. I like him a lot. I hope he’s there. We have 51 under my contract and we are losing 14 next year. I need to have some sort of a continuity so we need to keep some. I certainly can franchise one of them but that’d be too expensive for these folks save for Jackson. I’ll save my other decisions for after the draft to see what happens. I can make offers and cuts later. Week 2 – DE Hill signs with the Eagles We end FA.

The 2028 NFL Draft
Picking first is New England. At the 1.1 they take DE Freddie Lang, the best player in the draft. The 1.24 arrives. Is Vail there? Yup! Anyone else I want? Nope! I take him The 2nd round arrives! Here is what I need: Starter – WR, LB Backup – OG, CBx2, LB, What do I like? WR Percy Hutchins? Howard Tanner, SLB? I do Hutchins. This is a deep receiver draft and he looks like amazing bars. 3rd Round? How about WR Dalton Ballard? There is also a S available as well. Jaylen Kripper. I could draft him and move him to a CB spot. This is a weak CB draft. I do so. He has the look of a grower. 4th Round? Hmmmm…. Ballard is off the draft list. I could grab WR Brady Woodard the best one left. I like OG Kerry Darquea who seems to be a bit of a fall. I take Darquea 5th Round – RB Howie Newman is the best on the board. Hopefully he’ll be a cheaper backup than we have coming. 6th Round- Dave Hanks, WLB is available. He’s the best LB. 7th Round – CB Britt Winters is the best CB on the board. I grab him. Rookie Lookie #1 1.24 – C Duane Vail, LA State, 33/90; 2.24 – WR Percy Hutchins, Southern Methodist, 35/64 3.24 – S Jaylen Kripper, Duke, 28/46 4.24 – OG Kerry Darquea, Virginia, 28/66 5.24 – RB Howie Newman, Abilene Christian, 26/37 6.24 – LB Dave Hanks, Ferris State, 18/48 7.24 – CB Britt Winters, Notre Dame, 29/43 Phily will be moving to Raleigh I move Kripper to CB

Here is my #1 pick
Here is Duane Vail! He’s pretty sexy keen and will hopefully help us out for a long time to come! I targeted him at the 1.24 spot and came up with him Wanna see my #2 pick? Sure thing, here you go! Hutchins is green but looks nice. After Frohbieter and Zercie leave at the end of the year Hutchins should be ready for the #2 spot. Vail and Hutchins are on The Green Page

Here let me show you something
This is my roster sorted by potential. As you can see we have 2 in the 90s, 2 in the 80s, 9 in the 70s, and 10 in the 60s. That’s a lot! We’ve done very well for ourselves turning this roster into a juggernaut. Now let me show you something else. Here are all of the non-kickers in the league sorted by potential. As you can see, the entire league onto has 5 90s, and 15 80s and we have a big chunk of talent in the league.

Rookie Check
At C, Vail is the best. He’s also the best lineman WR Hutchins is the 5th best in the draft, this was a deep draft After swapping over from S and growing, CB Kripper is 4th best in the draft at CB. Winters is 11th. LB Hanks is the 17th best LB in the draft After booming, Darquea is still only the 4th best OG in the draft.

Stats
Offensive Passing Tony Rhem – 362 of 581, 3911 yards, 23:12, 86.6 rating, 25 sacks He had another down year. But he won another Super Bowl and that’s what really matters. Rushing Devin Wheeler – 260 for 931, 3.58 ypc, 11 scores Tony Rhem – 101 for 372, 2 scores It was a down year for my rushing offense as well and Wheeler was not where I want to be in any way or shape or form. Receiving This was a down year for all of our offensive skill players. No one had 1000+ yards and Barber was embarrassing. Everyone needs to do better except for Derr who had a great year. Blocking OG Luis Hanks, 22 KRB of 94 KRO, 4 sacks OT Don Cortez, 14 starts, 20 of 51, 8 sacks allowed OC Duane Vail, 18 of 67, 1 sack allowed OG Terry Freitas, 11 starts, 17 of 64, 2 sacks OT Gerald O’Neill, 8 starts, 12 of 30, 2 sacks allowed A down year for this folks although they suffered injuries to be fair. Special Teams K Randall Rabbitt – 37 of 41, Long of 55, 33 of 38 PAT A down year for his PAT %. Wow. P Roosevelt Petherick – 107 punts, 47.6 avg, 44 in 20 An up year in his punts given the down year in our scoring. CB Richard Bruce – 2 PR RET TD Nice!

Defense
Where is Thomason’s leading in tackles? Odd. Weber led and Norton was 2nd like normal. Norton led my team with 7.5 sacks and, as you can see, we cannot unlock those stud DEs. DE Shields? 5.5 sacks. DE Bullock? Zero sacks. This was not great either. Fontaine led my team with 5 FF. Pass Coverage Richard Bruce led my team with 4 picks and Thomason an okay 3 along with nickelback Schwake’s 3. FS Weber led my team in pasdef again. Norton was 2 picks and 12 pasdef all solid.

Alright we are about to end the Jets and move elsewhere.
Before we do, here is my record and results 2019 – Before I made any changes – 6-10 2020 – 2-14 2021 – 5-11 2022 – 11-5, #1 seed, AFC Championship loss 2023 – 11-5, #3 seed, Week 2 Loss. 2024 – 13-3, #1 seed, Super Bowl Victory 2025 – 13-3, #2 seed, Week 2 Loss 2026 – 13-3, #1 Seed, Super Bowl Loss 2027 – 13-3, #5 seed, Loss in Week 1 2028 – 15-1, #1 seed, Super Bowl Victory So where am I moving to? Well assuming they’ll have me, I wanna head to the Dolphins. Why? Three reasons. 1. The Dolphins have not been doing well since this dynasty began. Not at all. They are very losingly. 2. The Dolphins were the worst team in the NFL last year with a 2-13-1 record. 3. The biggest reason? They are a fellow AFC East rival. They will have to deal with the Jets themselves, which is rough after having to deal with two back to back epic dynasties in the Pats and the Jets in their division. In the last two years, AFC East teams Buffalo and New York have won Super Bowls so taking over a whipping boy makes sense. Assuming they’ll let me come aboard that is. I don’t know why they wouldn’t. I end the year These players are leaving the Jets, I score a 87

The 2029 NFL Offseason
RB Mansell retired. Odd. Welcome to Miami! I will be letting go the entire roster in the first week of FA. I will not be franchising anyone. Staff draft Given our poor record this past year I am looking for a new staff We draft 15th Our HC is Brian Schott and…he’s actually the best available when we pick. Anyone else I like? Nope not enough. We’ll keep him. My OC is Harold Goodwin, OL Lover, Erdardt-Perkins lover, Ty Cassidy is available, he loves TEs and prefers a balanced style of play. He’s the best choice. I grab him. At DC I have Steve Wilks who is no where near the best. I grab… Lance Mulroney who is very strong. Very strong. He is 44, loves the 43 Under, and we’ve build a traditional 4-3 team. At AC my guy is Morris Buchanan who’s not that bad but I upgrade to Nathaniel Hackett. I upgrade my Strength Coordinator to Dalton Hittle. We have the top pick in the draft. Will there be a stud up there of the QB persuasion? Let’s find out!

The 2029 NFL FA Period #1
I interview a few players. There is a stud Rb that comes back As Scouted who is the best player in the draft and a stud QB As Scouted as well. I interview folks that might be available at the 2.1 spot. I interview 5 WRs to grab someone to go with my QB or RB. I cut all of my players I pass to Week 2. I have a10 year old FA I want to make an offer to bring back, CB Geoff Mongeon from my days at the Jets. The Jets franchised Zercie. That’s very sad I was hoping to bring in a developed WR. I make offers to these players: OT Jack Kurtz RB Devin Wheeler Rb Norm Hawthorne OT Harris Gaylor OG Zach Cunningham DE Carson Spatz WR Jalen Frohbieter ILB Phil Sutton MLB Jeremy Burkley is also a FA SILB Edward Raynor, another former Jet Week 2 – We sign Kurtz and Spatz. They were the best O Line and 3rd best D Line in the FA. Week 4 – Wheeler signs. Week 5 – Jalen Frohbieter signs with us Week 6 -Burkley and Raynor and Hawthorne join us. Week 8 – Mongeon and Cunningham sign Week 9 – Sutton joins us We finish our first FA! I move some of my LBs around. Burkley back to SLB, Raynor to WLB and Sutton to MLB.

The 2029 NFL Amateur Draft Now our choice arrives… Stud RB? Or stud QB? RBs feel rarer than QBs. Here, let me show you. As you can see we have 3 Qbs with a 80+ pot, 9 more with a 70+ and 9 more with a 60+ But for RBs? As you can see, just 1 in the 80+, just two more in the 70+ and only 9 in the 60s. They are not as rife at the top ends like QBs. Now here are my choices Here’s the top player in the draft, absolute stud RB Andre Boone. He’s well rounded. He’s nasty. He would dominate my team. Hopefully. Now’s here’s B.J. Vance. He’s very strong as a Qb and very well rounded. So which do you do? The rare stud at RB or the common stud at QB? I do QB. If Vance were Hard to Read, (or worse) or had uneven or worse bars, then I’d do the RB and build around him. But as you can see Vance appears to be better than a normal 60s QB or even a low 70s one. So I take him. I’ll see you at the 2nd round

2.1 – From here on out I am looking for as many quality stud and starters as possible. Other than OT, QB and LB (unless we have a true stud) I’ll take talent anywhere. So who is the best player that fell?
I’d love to take a WR, but this is a weak draft and I won’t force one. SS Evan Letcher? FS Leon Sanchez? OLB Mack Gilliard? OG Alfredo Wagner? OG Tito Baggett? DE Leonardo Stanton? DT Jonah Joseph? Gilliard is the BAP. But I like having a strong SS or FS. Phil Sutton is a 42/42 guy so I feel I can push him at LB. Can I pass by the BAP for Gilliard? But I don’t need to invest 1sts or 2nds into LBs as a 4-3. I need them into my D Line. How about DE Leonardo Stanton? I have a good DE Already, how about DT Jonah Joseph instead? I love the OG Tito Baggett as well. I do DT Jonah Joseph The 3.1 arrives. Who do I like here? LB Eduardo Fuller is the BAP and I take him. 4.1 – I like OG Seth Ellard. We need another O Line. 5.1 – I like CB Joshua Trunsky. 6.1 – FL Kim Luchey. The best receiver on the board. 7.1 – Hmmm… OC Derrick Dixon Rookie Lookie #1 – 1.1 – QB BJ Vance, Southern Methodist, 33/88 2.1 – DT Jonah Joseph, Kansas State, 43/77 3.1 – WLB Edwardo Fuller, Oklahoma, 38/71 4.1 – OG Seth Ellard, Mississippi State, 28/60 5.1 – CB Joshua Trunsky, Georgia, 30/60 6.1 – WR Kim Luchey, Tennessee, 25/46 7.1 – OC Derrick Dixon, Virginia, 21/66 Dang Vance! We have a full O Line with my three FAs and an OG and OC from here. If Joseph won’t be another 2nd round D Line bust then he’ll be strong.

2029 NFL Training Camp
Rookie Lookie #2 1.1– QB BJ Vance, Southern Methodist, 33/88; 40/88 2.1 – DT Jonah Joseph, Kansas State, 43/77; 49/73 3.1 – WLB Edwardo Fuller, Oklahoma, 38/71; 47/74 4.1 – OG Seth Ellard, Mississippi State, 28/60; 32/61 5.1 – CB Joshua Trunsky, Georgia, 30/60; 37/62 6.1 – WR Kim Luchey, Tennessee, 25/46; 47/44 7.1 – OC Derrick Dixon, Virginia, 21/66; 27/64 UFAs P Lincoln Ciurciu, 33/61; 35/43 K Amos Sturch, 25/55; 32/52 DE Sergio Page, 27/55; 31/54 DE Wayne McIntyre, 22/55; 27/56 MLB Rex Thompson, 14/55; 19/52 As you can see Vance looks solid. That’s my biggest fear. Is DT Joseph sliding down? Sad. Fuller is rising though and that’s sexy. CB Trunksy might be a grower, and Luchey might be a shrinker. Any other booms in camp from my UFAs? Nope! I sign P Maurice Manns, 37/55 I have 57 heading into the Off Season. I assign deactivations

Rookie inspection –
How did my draft do? Vance and Joseph are both on The Green Page. As is Trunsky at the bottom. Vance is the best QB in the draft and the next is 57 After Luchey busted there are more than 20 players in front of him Dixon is the 2nd best OC in the draft. OG Ellard is the 5th best in the draft. DT Joseph is the best DT and D Line overall in the draft LB Fuller is the best LB in the draft SS Sammie Shea is the 6th best S in the draft despite being a UFA I’ll fast sim this year with only a quick note for each week. I won’t talk about injuries or anything else.

Stats
Offensive Passing QB BJ Vance – 289 of 540, 2595, 9:14, 61.4 rating, 41 sacks We need to get Vance some talent to surround him Receiving Luchey led my team in catches, 2nd in yards, and tied for 1st in TDs. Frohbieter was with the most yards. Rushing RB Devin Wheeler – 220 for 625, 2.84 ypc, 4 scores RB Norm Hawthorne – 69 for 269, 3.90 ypc, 1 score Wheeler still isn’t doing well for me in the rushing numbers. Hopefully we can upgrade our RB. Blocking OG Zach Cunningham – 20 KRB out of 58 KRO, 7 sacks allowed OT Harris Gaylor – 16 of 56, 13 sacks allowed OC Derrick Dixon – 16 of 63, 5 sacks allowed OT Jack Kurtz, 13 of 67, 10 sacks allowed OG Seth Ellard, 11 of 53, 4 sacks allowed A down year for my line, and I was hoping for more from Kurtz. Special Teams K Amos Sturch, 21 of 28, Long of 50, 19 of 20 PAS Meh P Maurice Manns, 134 punts, 45.9 avg, 43 in 20 Meh x2 KR Jalen Frohbieter – 2 KR Returns Nice!

Defense
Burkley led my team in tackles with 146 which also led the league by 26! Fuller was 2nd with solid number of tackles as well. As you can see this was not a great year for my pass rushing in terms of sacks, with Fitzgerald leading my team at 6. But we have a lot of Hurries and QB knockdowns. Pass Coverage In addition to a light sack year we are light in the picks. Our best is 3 by CB Godfrey. 11 pasdef by SLB Fuller led our team, and that’s pretty good as well as his two picks.
