Seahawks, trade back from 32, DE/Leo with the pick they drop to (assuming upper half of round 2), drop down from 64 then G/T, WR, OLB in rounds 3/4 (I'm assuming they'll end up with 3 picks in these rounds due to the trade downs).

By the time the draft is done, I'm expecting them to have drafted WR, OLx2, DLx2, LB, CB for sure with another LB and a S (maybe a TE) in there if they can accumulate enough picks to do so. If they can find the trade partners it seems like they prefer to get into the 9-10 pick range each draft. Then a crazy scramble for UDFA.

In other words, waited this damn long for the draft, why not wait another day before they make any picks.

I think my beloved Cardinals go with the best player on the board-probably on defense, likely a LB or CB, then get a QB in the second round if there are any left they like. Expect them to get at least one LB, two DB's, a WR, a DE or DT, and either an OLineman to protect Palmer or a QB to be his replacement.

Jerry Jones pulls off a trade to move up to take Manziel that is a combination of what Minnesota gave up to get Herchel Walker and what the Saints gave up to get Ricky Williams.

Minnesota takes someone from Notre Dame. Will continue to not have a franchise QB, or anyone that's decent at the position for more than a season or two, for the next decade.

49ers have 11 picks. Smart money is on them continuing their Patriot-esque strategy of punting picks now for future picks because there's no way 11 rookies make this team.

Needs are generally WR and DB, and some local sources are saying they may trade up in the first if they see someone they like slip a little. They certainly have the resources to do it. Outside of that, they could probably use depth/young talent to step up on both sides of the line. With Aldon Smith seeming to get in trouble at every turn and Justin Smith getting old, the D Line is a more pressing need than the O-Line.

Other rumors I've heard:

-Harbaugh likes David Fales, the San Jose State QB. Could be a 5th round pick or so for them.
-If the 49ers trade up, WR Odell Beckham is their likely target.
-If the 49ers don't trade up, rumor has it that CB Stanley Jean-Baptiste is the pick.

I'm hoping Donald or Pryor remain on the board at 14.

And I'm hoping Emery doesn't get cute. If either of those two are on the board, grab 'em.

I don't think he's there at 8. There's too much smoke coming from Cleveland to make me think he gets past them. I think they began rebuilding their team around a more diverse offense last year when they dumped Richardson.

Jay Glazer said there is no chance the Browns take Manziel at #4. Now, he said "at #4" which leaves open the possibility of them taking him later. But apparently it's such a lock that it doesn't happen, that ESPN took down an article by Mortensen who had just come out saying there was no way Manziel got past the Browns at 4.

May still be a better idea than letting Spielman make the pick.

Hopefully they get a pick in the first few rounds for him, since that to me would indicate that the Texans want to use him as a starter (otherwise they'd just draft a rookie to start). What do I mean by "few?" I dunno.

Wonder if it will be more than Pats and Texans swap 3rds for Mallet.

Pick 65 for like pick 92.

My top 5 for who I want the Giants to take. I had wanted to spend a ton of time this week watching Youtube videos of a bunch of players, but a week long epic migraine had me in bed most of the week (I suppose I was overdue for one ), so I'm going off mostly what I've read about these players from other people (and not counting any players who are definitely not going to be at 12)...

1) DT Aaron Donald - Undersized and might get pushed around, but if he hits, he'll hit big as a 3 Tech DT (lining up on the outside shoulder of Guard). Plus, with playing two teams that love options plays (Eagles and Redskins) in the division, quickness in the DL might be more important than size. I think he'll be great, but I think he also has a big chance to bust. Being that picks get much less money than they used to, it's worth the risk IMO to swing for the fences.

2) WR Mike Evans - I am not sold on Randle, nor do I think any of the rest of the WRs the Giants have not named Victor Cruz can be anything more than a #3 WR at best. I understand the Giants need OL help, but they also had key injuries (Baas and Snee), and Pugh developed very well, quicker than expected. It usually takes a year or two for an OL to make the transition to the pros, and Evans can come in and be a starter right away, that's why I lean towards them taking Evans over any of the OL that are projected to still be around at 12.

3) S Ha Ha Clinton-Dix - Rolle's contract is up soon, Will Hill failed another drug test and Stevie Brown is coming off an ACL injury. Could use some security at the safety spot.

4) WR Odell Beckham Jr - Someone who would be great as a slot receiver. Same as what I said with Evans, I think the Giants are very weak at WR outside of Cruz. They may end up regretting letting Nicks go. That said, I hope I'm wrong about Randle.

5) OL Zack Martin - If those 4 are gone, they should go OL. They went tackle last year, and I don't think a "can't miss LT" will fall to 12 so they should go Guard to play opposite of Snee.

Back up plan: Eric Ebron. If those 5 are gone, and maybe the rest of the top projected OL....sure, go for the high maintenance TE and hope for the best.

Like I said, didn't do nearly as much reading and scouting on these guys that I would have liked. From what I've read though, I'll be happy if the Giants can get any of the above 5.

I highly doubt the Raiders go QB round 1, but if they do, it will be a more traditional guy like Bortles, Bridgewater or Carr.

To me it doesn't make sense that the Raiders would trade for Schaub and then use a top pick on Johnny Football.

Then again this is the raiders

I'm pretty much alone in my Rams thoughts.. but I love LB Khalil Mack at #2 and would then push Laurenitis outside or use Mack outside, either way and with Ogletree, wow what a LB core that is.

Then take the best OT at #13.

I've avoided all draft television until today.

Is there anybody other than Johnny Manziell in this draft? Seriously? ESPN and NFL Network are both guilty of this.

You're not alone. I think we can get a great OL piece at #13. At #2, I want WR or Mack. I do not want Clowney.

I thought I was being clever by calling Clowney 'Clown Jerk' but my son came up with 'Punk Clown'. Once the top couple picks get out of the way, it'll be interesting to see where the QBs end up.

I've actually never heard him interviewed or read many quotes from him. I'm assuming we're driving this bus back and forth over him based on two speeding tickets and whatever happened before the Kentucky game he didn't play in last season with Spurrier?

Or a quote about Nick Saban from three years ago?

Or what a college message board guy says?

I would say it is the propensity for ESPN to waaaayyyy overproduce and overhype to the point that it's unwatchable. They're the ones making the money on the ratings.

I believe it was CU Tiger who had a friend who had coached (maybe?) Clowney and said the guy was a total douche. Which is okay. I think teams have valid concerns about how much effort the guy is going to give once he gets paid based on his 2013 performance (or lack of).

CU also said there was no chance Clowney would be playing in the bowl game cause they were waiting to announce him not being academically eligible. I don't think he's lying to us but I wouldn't be surprised if Clemson boosters that he speaks to spread tons of shit around about South Carolina players.
