FYI... I work at my second job on Wednesday nights (unfortunately). The deadline will remain the same, but I will not be able to process results until late. So apologies in advance that you guys will have to wait a bit tomorrow night (more likely, read it in the morning, since I am on the West Coast).

I thought that role could have been very helpful for late game. At this point it will be much tougher to get a controlling interest in the hands of a friendly board member. Hopefully it doesn't come to that.
I still agree it's better than losing the seer/bg/etc, but want to make sure we keep our eye on the friendly ownership %. |

EF, you remain my #1 suspect for a wolf. We had three men in the vote and I know I was clean. The wolves would have thought Schmidty was clean as well.
What are chances of three non-wolves in run-off? Assuming two wolves out of 11 starting (cultist=villager for this math) 9/11*8/10*7/9 = 51% all villagers Coin toss. But with two cleared in my eyes (me + Schmidty) you are 100% the wolf in that scenario. So I'm playing a 49% probability, plus a dose of gut on top of it. VOTE EAGLEFAN |

Let it be known that it was Lord Vilus who fist threw down Scmidty's name.

I could definitely see a run off between Hoops and EF and I lean towards going this way between the two. |

I am leaning towards Hoops being a villager and EF I am in the middle on. I don't see my vote swinging towards Hoops, but it could be changed to a 3rd candidate potentially.

I think resolving the Hoops / EF situation is the best decision for today. However, I'm going to wait and see if there is further discussion before casting a vote today.

Tying it up before the corporate update today. I think it helps more than hurts us to see how the voting would go with a tie at deadline between these two. |

I'm not sure, BK. My initial thought was that you + illinifan were people that would be suspects for floating a new/late candidate with a wolf on the block. But with Schmidty as cultist (villager in wolf eyes) and me as a villager, there were already two viable options in front of them to target so I'm not sure they needed a third.

I'm in and out today, but not really sure how much we can draw from yesterday's votes given the wolves wouldn't have known Schmidty's role either.

Are people waiting around for the (ChiefRum's) daily stock report? Or is there something else that has kept this thread as quiet as it is up to this point?

A vote for EF, over me, is a sign of awesomeness in my book.
A vote for EF, over anyone else in this game, is pretty good in my book. A vote for EF, in the abstract, is never a bad pick. |

A day has passed, but has much changed?
As the board breaks for lunch, it is with the same silence that seemed to prevade board deliberations on Day One. Yet again, few have actually spoken out on who they believe is a conspirator. And yet again, of the few that have cast a vote, it seems likely that Eaglefan will be forced to resign if things stay as they are. Will another take his place by the eevening? Stay tuned...

I was assuming it is the 2-2 vote that was being used for the report.
Given that EF would be the one going home, that would mean Hoops or Danny have EF as their enemy and neither EF or myself have hoops as our enemy. Neither Hoops or Danny was on Schmidty last night, so they couldn't have gotten extra voting power from his removal. EF and I were both on Schmidty last night, so if he was one of our enemies, oneof us could potentially have 1.5 votes, however this wouldn't be enough to tip the balance given that you get 2 votes on your enemy. |

I think a third candidate might help as I am never all that comfortable with the ones we pick on day one. Other than that there is only a vague feeling with this person as of yet.

Not sure what to think at this point. Hoops is going after EF very, very hard. Not sure if that's because he's his enemy, or if he knows something everyone else doesn't know. I wouldn't think it would be a wolf play, because if EF is found to be a villager, hoops would look quite suspicious.

Yep, I can't see much wolf/Microsoft upside to what I'm doing either. But I do want to emphasize - if another player has something damning then I'll certainly do that rather than chase after my Day 1 play. I think my approach has considerably merit, but it would clearly be trumped by the CEO identifying someone disloyal to our company. |

Ok here's what I can tell of enemies so far:
DT"s enemy was hoops Rationale: hoops had 2 votes on him, but DT was the only remaining voter Hoop's enemy is EF Rationale: EF had 2 voters on him yesterday, Schmidty and Hoops, but 3 points. Schmidty is now dead. EF has 2 voters on him today but would win the tie breaker. Again hoops is on him. So is Danny who cannot possibly be the tie breaker as his vote is worth only .75 today. So The only way EF is in the lead is if hoops vote is counting for extra. Danny's enemy is either me or illini Rationale: Danny had 3 points on him, but only 2 voters Schmidty's enemy was DV, ntn, or henry Rationale: EF and J23 can be eliminated since both had vote against hoops but lost out on the tiebreaker. Conjecture: It's DV based on his BAMF statement. |

Sorry for the delayed response. This morning's writeup reflected the vote as of 11 a.m. PDT, so it did not include DV's vote at 11:04. That's why I did the vote tally first, and then the writeup. Then after that was done, did a fully updated vote tally to show all votes to that point.

Had a longer response that got eaten, not going to be that verbose in this version (probably good for those reading along ) Short version is that is not the case here. You can either believe that or not believe that. But for what it is worth, I don't think I would want to play it that way as the cunning. That role is a golden ticket in small games ... you either are going to get scanned or not scanned, and it is fine either way. So why create unnecessary waves? |

I'm not convinced hoopsguy is a wolf. I feel like EF is getting tossed because he's hoop's enemy.
vote henry I'm very open to changing my vote, but I'm going to follow ntndeacon's idea of adding a third competitor for now.

Hyper-aggressive. I'll never "blend", regardless of role, but I don't think I would go out of my way to create showdowns with players on Day 2. The cunning role is a monster in a small game like this, in my opinion. You have to do what you can to lower risk of attracting votes with it, and pushing to the voting forefront certainly does not accomplish that. |

The problem is that we have seen such varied wolf play lately that you can't really buy any of the "a wolf wouldn't do that" arguements. Once we saw the wolves sacrifice their cunning on day one several games back it pretty much left any play open to being a possible wolf play. |
