You all wake up in the morning and head downstairs for breakfast. Halfway through the meal you realize Neon Chaos is missing and suddenly hear a blood curling scream from the hotel. Word spreads quickly that a maid found Neon Chaos still in bed. Unfortunantly for him he was dead.
Day 2 has begun. Deadline 10:00 PM EST Tuesday night. Last edited by Lathum : 01-14-2008 at 10:37 PM. |

So what's the thing about Schmidty? Is he not able to participate today?

Just a note, I have class until 9:30 tomorrow so the results may be delayed. The 10:00 deadline is still effective

So, what was Neon then?
I didn't even realize the night actions took place at the same time practically. Interesting way to go about it, I like it, moves the game along faster. Anyhow, moving onto the next day. |

Well I'm real pleased. I think we got some good information for d1. A close vote is what you have to hope for.

For some reason, I didn't think the end of day 1 was until tomorrow.
I screwed everything up, and I apologize. I have asked Lathum to withdraw me from the game.

Well, I normally would be strongly questioning Pass and Farrah about their Schmidty votes after what I said, but considering he didn't end up voting, I can't really say their votes are all that suspicious. I do it find it funny that there was an effort placed to putting a Schmidty-CR dynamic out there, just off of my vote. You guys are freakin' paranoid.
I was trying to figure out the Schmidty drunk thing, and I think it might be because he didn't vote. This is the punishment. Lathum even said that failing to vote gets you cut off from the bar, which is pretty much what happened to Schmidty (albeit it doesn't explain the drunkeness). Lathum, is Schmidty going to be able to participate on Day Two? As for the vote, not sure what to read on the back and forths except that there were a ton of them. It wouldn't shock me to find that there were a lot more interesting things going on there, but which won't be clear until later in the game. In a CR change of schedule, I will be around for the deadline tomorrow after all, but not around Wednesday. My scheduler switched my normal shifts around this week. I will still be out most of the day at my main job, of course. But I will hold off on voting until I after I return.

Ok, I talked to Lathum, and will stay in the game, although I'll be pretty useless tomorrow since I can't vote.

So Neon was virtually silent this whole game. The only thing of note is that he voted for Render first. Perhaps the wolves were trying to set Render up? If so this would suggest they were not around at deadline to change the kill when it became clear Render was a top candidate.
Alternatively perhaps the wolves wanted to take out a quiet experienced player? Not sure what that suggests about who might be a wolf, but is an equal, if not better, explanation for Neon's death. |

I think that's an entirely fair analysis. I feel better about Farrah than most at this point since I don't think a new wolf would have pulled that move and then given that reason.

Hey, I made a post earlier, but it's not showing.
Basically, I talked to Lathum, and am back. I won't be of much use today though, since I can't post.

I wasn't around at deadline either so I can't tell you who it might implicate. Anyone have any insight about who WAS here so we can start to suggest who wasn't?

I'm working an odd shift today but I'll be home before the deadline comes up. I'll peak in and out throughout the day probably though.
Anyhow, DT still is on my radar for all of his defensive moves. That's where I'm going to start and we'll see what happens throughout the day. Vote DaddyTorgo I wish I could be a seer for once. lol |

So mauboy is voting for DT because of defensive moves, which seemed to come after he'd already been on the chopping block. What made people suspect him to begin with?

IIRC, mauboy, myself, DT, Farrah and Lathum were in the thread at deadline. That may not be accurate.

VOTE SCHMIDTY
I still feel like he was being protected by CR, plus he didn't get a vote in yesterday. Whether there's a link between them or not, I think CR's actions have put him off the radar in a way, and we should look into that. |

I don't know if I'm ready to go for Schmidty, since he's got some form of lesser ability today, plus if we're looking at Schmidty based on CR's actions, why not just vote CR? He's at least around and would be a fair fight.

Schmidty's around -- he said he should be able to talk. Like I said, I'm softening on there being a link between Schmidty and CR. But I do think that CR's vote, and comments after it, have made people afraid to vote for Schmidty. I'm taking on the heat to even the playing field. |

The reason I voted for DT was just because he was a senior player and he hadn't been voted for yet.

Something about this persons posts aren't sitting right with me. I get the sneaking suspicion DT is being strung up here. I'm not understanding the suspicion on him at all.

Wasn't there a game when DT said he was a wolf, and everyone was like 'yeah right' but then it turned out he was? I don't think he would try that tactic twice.

Not entirely random. I was going to vote for someone who didn't check in by noon (mountain) yesterady, but everybody had. I then looked at the list of players and didn't want to vote for a new player, so I went randomly with a veteran player who hadn't received a vote. |

Indeed. And I've pushed hard a couple of games since then against DT when he's made other seemingly stupid remarks. All the other times he's been a villager. So I have given up going after him for it.

Ok gotcha, that makes sense. I was just trying to determine if there was an "in-game" reason so-to-speak. But yeah, I'm not really seeing the DT guilt. At least not enough to carry it over to today, but of course we don't have much no matter how you slice it. |

If you think DT is being strung up here, you should take a look at Farrah and Arlie. Also, I voted for DT as well as Mauboy at the same time, so why not choose to lynch me instead of him? Anyhow, I don't think there was any doubt that RendeR would bite it yesterday, so our votes didn't make that much of a difference. Maybe we should look at who voted for RendeR (a known villager) as opposed to people who voted for an unknown quantity at this point. In that respect I will UNVOTE DADDYTORGO |

Oh I did consider you. But you've explained yourself (I know it was after my vote for mau) but his whole "triggering the truth" thing caught the alarm. Yeah, I didn't really consider Farrah she switched, I don't have much of a grasp of her style though so I counted her out. Why Arlie? He voted RendeR. To me that isn't a death knell (since well, I voted RendeR too). Since I made the mistake I tend to use the thinking "well if I did, it's hard for me to then pin it on someone else for the same vote". |

I voted for RendeR. Looks like it was Me Neon - Dead BK Arles DT DT's was self-preservation, so count him out. BK was the 2nd vote, I'm sure he'll 'splain himself My vote was to push the action. IIRC I made it 3-1-1-1... (or 3-2-1-1-1...) Basically I wanted to force either A) No action, meaning RendeR was likely innocent or B) Action on other players in an effort to "save" RendeR. We really didn't get either. It kind of band-wagoned a bit and no other likely candidate emerged. |

Here are the votes on RendeR. Nothing appears to be "bad". The only questionable vote that I see is Arlie's vote which offers no explanation. |
