Team Awards:
Offensive Player of the Year: QB Dan McElroy. Duh. Defensive Player of the Year: MLB Raymond Turnbull. He’s not as good as he was when he first won this award. Despite age, dilapidation, and 13 starts, he still led the team in tackles by a bunch, got 6 FF to lead the team, notched an impressive 4.5 sacks, grabbed 9 QB hurries, returned a fumble recovery for a TD, and got a pick. He was a do it yourself man this year. Special Teams Player of the Year: RB Tyrus Torres. He led the league in KR average with 39 returns for a 28.9 yard average. That’s pretty hot. Heart Award: FS Gino Domenici. I normally deactivate him, but this year, CB Kerr busted hard, so Domenici played all year. He starred on special teams where he led our team in special teams tackles. He also got 3 FF on special teams. Consider this: a 3 FF in 29 special teams tackles is by far a better percentage than Turnbull’s 6 FF in 92 solos and 26 assists. Despite being only on the field for a handful of pass plays during the year, he still managed to get 2 passes defensed. Good job Gino.

Alright, why did we explode this year? I attribute it to four things:
1: Tyrus Torres’s ypc greatly increased, which helped our running game become more dominant. 2. During all of his starts, Yoo is a sack machine. Toss out his first year, when he was still learning the game. Since then, Yoo has been sacked a lot. I grabbed my calculator and did some quick math. He goes down an average of 2.9 times a game. This year, McEroy went down 8 times in 11 starts. If don’t know how many sacks are drive killers, but if you figure that half of all sacks end drives, then Jack Yoo ends one and a half dries every game because of sacks. If there are eight to twelve drives a game, then Jack Yoo’s propensity for sacks kills around 15% of his drives. In the other hand, McEloy had ended around 4 drives in 11 games, instead of around 1.5 drives a game. That’s a big difference. 3: McElroy is plain out more accurate than Yoo. Yoo’s best QB season by rating was 2010 when he had a 99 QB rating and a 23:15 rating. Despite starting 16 game sin a season, Yoo has never thrown for more than 26 TDs, or less than 10 picks. On the other hand, McElroy’s completion percentage and QB rating hammered Yoo’s. In 11 starts, Dan notched 23 TD’s, and would almost assuredly broken Yoo’s TD record. He had 8 picks, and to be fair, that may have risen to 10, 11 or 12. But 30:12 looks a lot better than 23:15. 4: This is by far the most important, I feel. Our special teams were scintillating this year. This is why I care so much about parsing the special teams stats. When your retuner gets you 12.1 yards per return, and that’s without a breakaway TD to explode the stats, you are in a much better scoring position. When your main KR gets 28.7 yards on every kickoff, and again, that is without a breakaway TD to skew the stats, then you are cooking. When your P gets you the second longest punt average in the game, you are humming. When you have the player with the most points on the season, Sigman, you are spinning. When you have the 11th and 15th best special teams tacklers in the game by number of tackles, you are singing a merry tune. Simply put, when your special teams is this good, in reflects everything else. Next Year? Honestly, if I keep the special teams up, and McElroy doesn’t slump, then I don’t see why we can’t continue the way we just did.

Some Records:
Robbie Ramon is tied for the most picks in the game since we begun, and he didn’t even register stats during the first season of the career. He has 35 picks. Torres set the all purpose yards in a season record this year with 3138 yards. Torres has moved into first place for most all purpose yards in the career, with 15847. He also is in the lead with the most kickoff yard in the career at 5347. Harris Powell is now in the lead with the most career yards for catch at 17.86.

I offer jobs to my D Coordinator and HC. I want them to stick around. Our scout leaves. I need to hire a new one. I poach Cleveland’s Scout. The new coach may give us a different view of our players.
No hold outs, which surprises me. I expected McElroy to hold out.

I play Yoo for two games to get him unpissed, and then play McElroy for one. Yoo goes 1-1 ,and McElroy goes 1-0. Then Yoo gets upset again after being benched for one game. I have Jack Yoo signed for two more years after this one. I am officially ignoring Yoo from now on. Maybe McElroy will go down, and Yoo will be happy, but McElory is getting all starts from here on out. In the fourth game of the season, he just hung 41 on Arizona. He’s staying in for sure.
After a 31-17 victory in San Francisco DE Butch Van Pelt is again knoced out for the long term with a major injury, this time a broken ankle. At the halfway point, we are 7-1 and continue to dominate.

We got scrubbed by the suddenly unbeaten Eagles two weaks later for our second loss on the season. I don’t want no wild card berth!
After a few more weeks, Phily is 12-0, we are 10-2 wit the top wild card spot wrapped up in a poor NFC this year. The only way we get the division this year is if Phily loses three out of their last four hames, and we undefeated the rest of the way. Liklihood? Not good. I had a WLB Lorenzo get angrier and angrier during the season because of lack of playing time, but he started the whole season! Really pisses me off. What does he want, to start on offense too? I move him off starter and let him simmer. We won’t get a bye. Now normally, I’d rest my starters but in a challenge that wants as many wins as possible, I’ll go all out these last two weeks. We finish 14-2 with the top wild card spot. Has any team ever been a wild card with 14-2 record? Tennessee was 13-3 in 1999. If I had realized that the first game of the season against the normally woeful Eagles would be so key, I would not have started Yoo.

I realized what was making Campbell so upset. An Endurance of 0. I can slide him into every starting position on the depth chart in every defense formation, but when he gets tired, he gets subbed and then he gets pissed at me. s 14-2 Dallas in 13-3 Minnesota 10-6 Green Bay in 16-0 Phily Come on Green Bay! Team Awards:
Offensive Player of the Year: C Orlando Patchet. With another great season, he allowed no sacks and made all league honors. Congrats Orlando! Defensive Player of the Year: CB Robbie Ramon. He added another 8 picks to his total. This guy has a 30/30 rating overall and just a 66 in interceptions. I don’t know why he has such a nose for the interception, but year in and year out, he keeps coming down with the other team’s passes. Special Teams Player of the Year: SS Gino Domenici. Last year, he won this for heart, this year he wins because of the massive number of tackles he brought forth on special teams. Award coulda gone to Gomez or Torres as well. Heart Award: RB Jack Fling. He went over 150 carries, over 550 yard, and had 7 rushing TDs in a backup role. He simply did really well with the time he had, and his ypc is barely behind Torres’s.

The 2015 Playoffs:
Wild Card Weekend: 11-5 Philadelphia at 8-8 San Francisco 10-6 Washington at 10-6 Carolina Both of our division rivals are knocked out. Divisional Playoffs 10-6 Panthers at 11-5 Lions 8-8 49ers at 12-4 Cowboys Getting the 8-8 team at home is not a hard call, but they did defeat the eagles, so we can’t take them for granted. We win 22-14. The Panthers also win, 27-20.

NFC Championship
So, if everyone had won like you would have thought, we would have had the 11-5 Eagles, who put 43 on us in our own house this year, and then the 11-5 Lions, but now we had the8-8 49ers and the 10-6 Panthers. Can we finish another season and take it to the house? Scoring Summary for each team: Us: Sigman hits a FG in the 2nd Ramon gets a pick and returns it 68 yard for a score in the 2nd. Reeves caught a 46 TD pass in the middle of the 3rd Torres plunges it in from 5 yards out in the late 3rd Them: 1 yard TD run with a minutes left in the 1st 13 yard pass TD under the two minute swarning in the first half 9 yard pass TD in the late third FG with 1:56 left in the game Wait a second, isn’t that a 24-24 score? Yep, after they tied it with 1:56 left, in the game, here is what happened: Tyrus returns the Ko to the 32. 3 yard pass to Torres 38 yard pass over the middle to backup WR Okubi Fling run for 0 yards Fling run for 0 yards. Torres ran for 5 yards And then, with 4 seconds left in the game, Sigman, the kicker of woefuness, kicks an 18 yard FG, which frankly, even he can make. 27-24, us.

The 2015 Super Bowl
The NFC Champions, 12-4 Dallas Cowboys Vs The AFC Champions, 13-3 San Diego Chargers Can we go 2-2 in Super Bowls, or does San Diego have an answer to our balanced offense and weak defense? The Charger’s star QB is out for the year, went down late in the season, but they continued to advance and make it through the playoffs, so I am not taking their backup for granted. Could be a Hoffstetler. We hold them to 16 We only score 13 We have lost the 2015 Super Bowl Ah well

Stats:
McElroy: 3233 yards, 23:17 ratio, 88.9 rating, sacked 26 times. This was definitely a down year for him, more like Jack Yoo’s stats. Torres: 1363 yards rushing on 343 attempts for a 3.97 ypc. 12 rushing TDs. 2 more TDs in the air. Down year for him too. He got his ypc up, but Fling only scored 3 TDs rushing, so our rushing offense and passing defense were a bit down. If this trend continues, with a declining offense and a poor defense, nothing good will be happening. Powell: 1035 yards, 7 TDs Reeves: 944 yards, 9 TDs Torres was second in KR yard average. He scored 3 KR TD. Preston Segreaves got a PR TD as well. Those four TDs really helped our offense out in a declining year. Sigman missed just four FGs (29 of 33), Gomez was down to the 10th punting average in the league. DE Caldwell, 12.5 sacks, 8 passes blocked, 22 hurries, 5 FF. Our tackles machine this was was former backup LB Houston moving to the starting position after Turnbull continued to deteriorate. He nagged 93 solo tackles. DE Van Pelt, after having two serious, season ending injuries, had 11.5 sacks this year. No one else had more than 3.5 Robbie Ramon: 9 more Ints for this 26/26 corner. 11 Passes Defenses which is more than ever for him. One Pick returned for a score. Walt Robinson led our team with 17 passes defensed. T Dennis Dotson led the team with 30 KRB Domenici was second on the team with 25 special team tackles and Leon Reynolds took bake this crown with 26. We scored four TDs on defense. With 8 TDs scored on defense and special teams in the regular season, you can see how we were able to keep up despite the lsackluster production from our offense.

Offensive Player of the Year: RB Tyrus Torres. It’s hard to choose someone. HE scored three less rushing TDs and only two in the air, yet he got his ypc back up. He is the only player on the offense to show improvement from last year, where Powell and Reeves were at the same level, and most others went down. Defensive Player of the Year: DE William Caldwell. I could have put Ramon here agin, but instead, I’ll stick with Caldwell. 12.5 sacks is a great amount, and he led the team in FF, hurries and pass blocks as well. Good job! Special Teams Player of the Year: K Fernando Sigman. He got a last second FG in the NFC Championship, went 29 of 33 during the regular season, and didn’t miss a FG in the Super Bowl (I would have been upset if we had lost to Sigman). He’s gotten it together here. Heart Award: MLB Toby Houston, in his first season as a starter, Houston had a lot of tackles, was second on the team in FF, and had FumRec for a TD. Good job Toby!

Next year? Honestly, ? I expect we have reached the end of our dynasty. The challenge ill keep coming, but I doubt we’ll get this far in the playoffs next year. Sure, our Cohesion obliterates all remaining teams (65 is the highest Defensive Front, for example, after our 100). But that’s about tonot matter with our el stinko players.

Jack Yoo and Peter Hill have retired.
I sign our Offensive Coordinator to another deal. Ticket prices are raised across the board. The salary cap rose. About time. I extend contracts of players like Reeves and Torres

No Jack Yoo is dangerous. This game could be over as soon as McElroy goes down. He was fragile early in the career but hasn't had any problems as of late, but the more he gets sacked, the wrose it gets.

Since this could end any week now, again expect me to sort of quick sim through the season.
We leave the preseason with a 2-2 record and our tema intact except for a few minor injuries. Time to keep trucking. We win the first game by 3 with a TD with 3 seconds remaining and down by four. Good job all! It was thrown by Ellard, because McElroy was banged around the game. He comes out probable, and will start next week, but already in the first game of the season, we have a scare. The first quarter of the season is through and we are 3-1 with our only loss to a Detroit team that hung 41 on us in our house. We beat the Giants, but McElory is knocked down to Questionable. I cannot allow the game to end with him exascerbating his injuy, so I will start Ellard and move him to 3rd QB. Ellard goes 1-1 and gets us to our bye week in Week 8. Coming out of the Week, McElory is healed and ready to continue starting. We go into the half 5-3.

Three weeks alte,r McElory is knocked Porbable again, but I’ll start him anyway. I’m finding hard for a Wild Card spot and we are 6-5/ He manages to lead us to victory, giving us 7-5 and a nice shot at the playoffs..
Now Ellard is getting upset that he’s not starting. I gave him freedom and he doesn’t want to get back. In a major game, we beat the eagles at our place. We are still dimly in contention for a division spot. With the Eagles one game up and just two games to play, we need them to stumble. We keep up our end with a 31-28 win over 5 win Cleveland. They lose, bringing us both at 10-5 with one game left in the season. Exciting! We defeat the Giants in the finale 36-31. The Eagles win too. How do the tie breakers break down? With both of us at 11-5 and we split the series, who wins the division? They did. Boo, That’s points we lost right there.

Division Round:
The 11-5 Cowboys at the 11-5 Lions (Who beat us badly in our place this year) The 10-6 Rams at the 11-5 Eagles Detroit takes us out with a 35-10 score. If we had only won the tiebreaker, we’d have played the Rams this week. The Eagles win NFC Championship Detroit puts 41 on the Eagles. Super Bowl – Detroit defeats the Chargers 24-13.

Stats:
Torres: 1022 yards, 4 TDs, 3,45 ypc. That’s a downgrade. Cuaght 3 TDs. Fling, 4.37 ypc, 6 rushing TDs, 616 rushing yards. Outshone Torres. McElroy – 14 starts, knocked down several times in game shand had to have Ellard finish. 3231 yards, 94.2 rating, 25:14 ratio. 17 sacks only. Still had a good year though, and a bounce back from last year QB Rating wise. No one had a 1000 yard receiving season Reeves had 7 TDs, Powell had 10. Segreaves had another PR TD and was 7th in the league in PR Average. Torres was third in KR Average. Sigman went 22 of 33 and missed a PAT. Anotehr downgrade, Gomez was 6th in the league in putning average. I have Turnbull his starting job back after an early injury to Houston, then played Houston at SLB or WLB after he came back to help out with injuries there. He led the tam again with 115 solo tackles. 11.5 sacks for Van Pelt, 8.5 for Caldwell. Just four picks for Ramon. 18 KRB for Dotson was our top. 4 FF for Van pelt, 3 for Reynold son special teams who also led the team in special team tackles.

Team Awards
Offensive Player of the Year: RB Jack Fling. He was the only person on the team to improve, as he had his best year ever running the ball, with a nice ypc, and a solid performance. Defensive Player of the Year: MLB Turnbull. After sitting the bench for a year, Turnbull came back with a classic performance, led the team with many tackles and had a solid year. Good job! Special Teams Player of the Year: TE Leon Reynolds. This is sort of a career award for him For years, he led the team in special teams tackles, and does so again this year. He had 3 FF on special teams. Good job! Heart Award: QB Aaron Ellard. With a lot of playing time in games and two starts, he led the team and got a win spelling MeElroy when we were down by 4, and then got a win as a starter. He passed for over 700 yards, had a 8:3 rating, but threw a lot of incompletions for a 88.1 rating. Still, when your backup QB goes 8:3, you are a very happy coach/GM.

Alright, a crappy team getting crappier. Will we have enough to keep going? Or will a lack of depth and quality catch up to us?
With just 44 players, if only one players retires at the end of the year, we are done (need 44 to sim a game) Let’s quick sim our final season We start 0-2 before getting our first win. 1-2, are we beaten r can we overcome the early losses? A few games later we are 3-3. Can we go 4-3 on the road at the Rams? Nope, we lose 45-30. We win two in a row to go to 5-4. We actually beat the then 7-2 Eagles at our place, 17-14. Puts us at 6-4. One of our LBs goes out after another win. I move Kerry Anderson to SLB We then win again to go 8-4. The Eagles are one game up at 9-3. Can we win the division in our last season? Four games left. We lose then win. Lotsa players have been ging down this season. They are getting old. We then lose our final two as the injuries pile up. 9-7. Did we get a wild card? No. The wildcards are 12-4 and 10-6. Our final collapse did us in. Phily loses to San Diego in the Super Bowl

Stats:
Torres, 1284 yards rushing, 7 rushing TDs, 4 more in the air. 8th highest KR average in the NFL. McElroy: 3873 yards, 97.7 Rating, 35:15 ratio, 25 sacks. No kidding, in his final year, he had his best season, with more yards and TDs than ever. Powell: 1373 yards, 10 TDs. This late, he’s still a machine. He was worth the top pick of ours. Nice to see him get honors in his final season. Reeves: Missed four games due to injury. 954 yards, 9 TDs. Would have been much better had he been in. Okobi got 8 TDs Sigman got 18 outta 30 3rd highest P average in the league still Turnbull had 104 solo tackles, 3.5 sacks DT Darrell Brody led the team with 8 sacks. Ramon had just one pick. The magic is over for Robbie Ramon. C Patchet bounces back with 33 KRB Caldwell had 6 sacks and 6 FF. Domenici led in special teacms tackles again with 29

Team Awards:
These awards will be for the course of the dynasty, and not just for this season: Offensive Player of the Dynasty: RB Tyrus Torres. He regularly had 20+ touchdowns offensively during his height, had 1200-1600 rushing yards for years, and was a weapon that brought us a balanced rushing attack. He was a good pick for us, although I saw OJ the other day developed into a bigger and better back. Still, he wa a good pick for us, and I am glad we took him. Tyrus Torres! Defensive Player of the Dynasty: CB Robbie Ramon. This guy got picks and more picks, and each year you thought he was going to stop getting the picks, only to get more and more picks. Until this year, he as an interception machine. He had a pick rating in the 50’s and 60’s, and poor coverage stats, but he got the pick. Let’s hear it for Ramon! Special Teams Player of the Dynasty: P Tracy Gomez. He was always in the top five overall punting average except for one year. Even at the end of the dynasty, he was third. Today, when everybody has devolved into the 50s, he still has a rating in the 80s. Gomez was a great player, and a vital weapon in our dynasty. Heart Player of the Dynasty: SS Walt Robinson. If Ramon hadn’t been so dominating, he would have gotten this award instead of DPotD. This little backup SS selected fin the 7th round late as a backup to previously selected safeties distinguished himself on the pitch. While fellow starting safety Lee Kinney had the skills, Robinson had the heart and the stats. We was rarely the tackle leader, but he was one of the top five. He was rarely the pick leader, but he was usually top 5. He finished our dynasty second on the team with tackles and second with picks. This 7th round wonder gave us heart on the pitch, and we give him the award for the Dynasty.
