If I bite it, so be it. I've got no role, and you can learn something, maybe, from a tight vote. Small games are tough though. Lots of noise, little signal.

At least we get to know the procedure for a tie vote. Could come in handy later.

After a day of arguing about who could behind poor Leroy's death you come to a consensus, that you cannot decide on anything. In the end you flip a coin, with Autumn being heads and DT being tails.
You decide to flip the coin and you all gather to watch as it goes into the air. When the coin lands, it falls on its edge and stops. You take the tie and the coin not deciding for you as an act of some higher beings that today you should just move on from tonight and get some sleep. There was no lynch. Day One Ends. Night One Begins. |

The first one was a parenthetical remark. Then Autumn took it up, and I multiplied it.
Anyway, voting table: (no green/red yet, alas) Code:

I'm sure if I was on at deadline I would have made a switch, except I had basketball at 7:30 and also had in my head that it was a 9:00 (my time) deadline.

It's really my fault. I am always anti tie, and planned to switch if needed, but was surfing and lost track of time.

Boy I can't help feeling that Autumn got saved. And fontisian has me all kinds of confused.
Quote:
A bunch of people questioned this first vote. At the time it was Autumn 2, saldana, mauchow and JAG one each. About an hour and a half later, after DT had (very sensibly on reread) made the point that it went from 4-2 Autumn to a tie in about a five minute span: Quote:
Personally, I can't figure out what is going on between you, Danny and Autumn over this stretch. But to me it kind of reads like something was. And the awkward last minute vote switch messup. Two minutes later: Look, I'm not saying fontisian is a wolf. I'm not saying Danny is a wolf. I'm certainly not saying Autumn is a wolf. I'm not smart enough to figure out who is what. I'll bet you there is a wolf in there though.

Okay, that was a waste of a day. I wish I hadn't been working, or I would have broken the tie.

Everyone begins to wake up and start to get ready for a day when you notice that someone else in your group is not awake. You decide to go check on him in his bed. Jag is just laying there which is unusual since he is often one of the first people up. You began to call his name and he does not respond. Panic falls over the group as you flip him over and see that he has a few stab wounds and is not breathing. It seems the killers have struck again.
Jag was a vanilla villager. Day Two Begins. Last edited by Zinto : 02-12-2013 at 03:06 AM. |

Well, I think if Font and I were wolves, she would have switched off me instead, and had a good reason for it. I don't know about the rest of it.

Font also posting at 8:00 asking that it would count rather than just redoing it has me a little miffed. The votes count at :00 still. :01 and after does not count. I want to believe it wasn't an orchestrated move but too much stinks of it.
It would obviously be a monstrous mistake to make this early if font and autumn are indeed the wolves. I think we need to go this route today to see if this was a complete fuck up or a ttue mistake. vote autumn |

That doesn't really make sense though, Mauchow. Why would Font pretend to unvote in order to keep a tie rather than just doing nothing?

And yes, I now realize what I said above makes no sense, since she wasn't voting me. Still, I don't see any reasoning behind pretending to make an unvote in order to keep me still tied, instead of doing nothing and hoping for the best.

Does this seem to be the way we're looking? font versus Autumn? Autumn is a strong villager, and font has played well since joining. Anyone have thoughts on other candidates?
I am going to review the deadline posting yesterday, see if anything stands out to me.

Okay, if we look at not breaking a tie when you had an opportunity as a bad thing, then, based on posting, I would look at RA, font, path12 and Danny.
RA and font could have switched out their votes and gotten a lynch. path could have switched his vote onto a candidate and gotten a lynch. I only question Danny because of the whole "just didn't get back in time" thing, but I don't put much weight in that, because I'm certain Danny would lie about real life stuff. Then the last thing that occurred to me is that Autumn and DT could both be wolves. They figured one of them was going to be lynched no matter what, so why do anything to tip their hands with some move to "save" one or the other? Sure, it's an unlikely coincidence, but not unheard of, and then they got lucky that the lynch was a no-lynch result. font's deadline move looks shakiest to me.

WOAH... typo alert. I mean Danny would NOT lie about real life stuff.
Sorry, Danny!

If you think font is a wolf, why not vote font? We would find out more from a font vote than an autumn vote.
That autumn vote doesn't sit well with me. vote mau |

Would we be better off trying to find two completely different candidates than yesterday? I'm cant think of a good reason to although im sure dt and autumn would beg to differ. The wolves will not nk one of them any time soon if they're villagers so we are better off finding out sooner than later what they are.. are we not ?
If you think my vote sucks then you must think paths sucks too. |

Because I haven't decided to go that way just yet. I want to see some other posts and thoughts before going one way or another. I am undecided on Autumn. He has tremendous value as a villager, but if we think he's possibly a wolf, I think he could be even more dangerous. He is very good at playing the helpful villager, and I have seen him leverage that rep as a wolf to last longer than he should.

My reason for going back to Autumn rather than fontisian is more along the lines of: 1) Was fontisian trying to save Autumn with her vote/"switch"? 2) Does her sequence of vote/switch vote/try to switch but mess it up seem more wolflike or cultist-like? Leaning the latter right now. She doesn't strike me as a novice. It looks like I'm pushing way harder here than I really feel, but there hasn't been a ton of conversation, so I'm just throwing darts blindfolded and hoping to hit something.

I see a saldana tie in yesterday what could be worth exploring:
If saldana is a wolf... - font looks good - CR looks good - mau and DT look not so good (obviously just one of them would be in question here) If saldana is good... - font and CR look not so good with their vote (not wolfish but not as good of votes as they would be if saldana was a wolf) - a known villager would have been the first to lead the charge off saldana, that actually makes font look a little better as I can't see a night kill of JAG if font was a wolf in this case (saldana is still in question and it would appear that JAG and font tried to save him, they would have already eliminated one of the suspects leaving us one left to look at) |
