Not sure I would give that any trust as you have stated every one must have an item and it is entirely possible a wolf could have the same item as you. As for everyone bringing lumber from looking at abe's posts some would probably have charms. What are our thoughts on these? I would guess they protect us from conversion, or at least give us a better chance to resist. Maybe we should get it to the people that gave spell abilities and can convert because of using it.

On the other hand, I do find the continued trend of day one voting of Danny to be noteworthy and not a bit suspicious. The only guy with a vote there is

Not adverse to looming strongly (sic) at Lathum at the moment either. He says he won't be around which could mean he could sail through the game.

Looks like the first part of my comment was kind of addressed in the time it took me to post, hate having to use phone during day. But you did say earlier hoops you looked at the rules and saw everyone gets an item, so not sure how you missed on you a second recheck of the rules to see wolves get items to. Not saying you are a wolf because of it, just making an observation.

Commo, I did re-read the rules last night. And I'll likely reference the rules another 10-20 times before the game is out, assuming I'm fortunate enough to stick around for a few days.
Maybe it is a reading comprehension issue, but I normally have to hit that page a ton of times to make sure I'm properly processing everything and that my assumptions are good. When I read it last night I had thought it said something to the extent of all Lightbringers start with an item. The point Dubb raised made me double-check this and sure enough it is all players. |

Do we know what happens to items on lynch or night kill? I'll look into that in the rules, it would be good to know. CF said we did poorly last game utilizing our items and I'd like to see us make good use of them here. Particularly if certain items will be better used in certain people's hands.

I'm sure we all will, just was curious because you said everyone received an item earlier. As I stated, don't think you're a wolf at this point just for that, your explanation seems you just misspoke.

If I read rules correctly, wolves take all items off of night kill victim. since item passing is last we will have to be careful on starting where items are going before deadline.

Suggests you consider yourself too good a village to be getting an early day one 2nd vote (I thought). Maybe you just meant that anyone putting a second vote on someone at this stage was suspect, which I disagree with strongly. Sorry for the misunderstanding. And yeah, it's what passes for a joke around my way. |

FTR, I do consider dubb to be in the small group of players I don't want to vote for early because of his value to the village if he's on our side. It would have to be a compelling case, which is rare on Day One, for me to want to do that vote.
He, Danny, hoops and you, Narc, are good examples of players I have in that grouping in my mind. There are others, but just grabbing names off the top of my head.

No I consider Danny too good for a D1 vote. I thought I was pretty clear why the guy who voted me was sketchy. He seemed to be afraid I would slip UTR which IMO is laughable. Neither of them IMO were/are good votes. Granted it is D1, but that would be like me stepping in and voting Hoops b/c he is illogical. It just doesn't make any sense as a voting basis.

ok, so a couple things here...first, just to make dubb happy, i'm a she...that said, there is absolutely no way Dubb makes it through any game UTR
second, EF...yeah...I'm a niners fan...I wont vote for you cuz i figure you are already close to ending it all anyway, so i wont push you any further than that craptastic team of yours did yesterday last, just to preserve my standard operating procedure (and consequently make him unhappy) vote dubb93 |

Okay yes, the bad guys get items off anyone they kill. But I wonder what happens to people we lynch. They can't pass the item until night, so they're out of luck there. Hopefully those go in some random method and not to bad guys as well.

and now that i have maintained the status quo
unvote dubb for those of you that dont know...i always vote for dubb on the first day in every game we play together, but i agree with the idea that he is too valuable to take out so early, i just like to mess with him...there is nothing else to see here other than a long standing WW rivalry, so before anyone decides to read into it, don't. |

Ahh. The old "I'm a crap wolf" defence. Tish and Pish I say. Although, true for me as well. Except when I'm getting a lot of coaching from a level-headed experienced wolfie. If I ever get in a team with hoops or Chief then the WW world had better watch out. Oh yes. Or not. |

I bet your team had a great centaur forward. Ahahahahahahahahahahahahaha! HA! I literally just thought of that now. I was toying with throwing a ghoul keeper in there as well, but common-sense saved the day. Except you all call it soccer. |

I caught up and re read the rules. I don't have too much more to add. We have quite a few roles, but due to the large number of players, most are still vanilla villagers. In general I would lean toward 1 or at the most 2 starting Red Death members. If there is one, the leader almost certainly has some sort of anti lynching power and the ability to quickly convert night 1.

dola- what I meant by 23/1 was D1 there is no one that is cleared and we have almost no information, so there are 23 players whi could be wolves, I'm the one who I know for a fact is not a wolf.

Pretty radical having just the one starting baddy. Particularly if you think there is a vampire and a were-something role in there to match the villager roles. The rules/flavour seemed to suggest that conversions would happen early in the game. I think bad guy counting isn't going to be a very productive avenue this game (did I say that already)? |

Well enough time has passed that I can talk about my vote, it was on purpose and I didn't post reasoning intentionally. So often recently I've just been doing random D1 votes but I wanted to see what would happen in the immediate aftermath of me putting a good player up at 2 votes. I never wanted Danny to be a real candidate, just wanted to gauge reactions.
