Montoya Stars For Vikes

Minnesota 2nd year RB Inigo Montoya was honored for the fifth time this season as a Player of the Week award winner.

Montoya was chosen this time for his first ever 200+ yard combined rushing/receiving yards. Inigo also had, we believe, his first 2 TD game for Minnesota in their OT win vs. Detroit

RB Inigo Montoy, in his 2nd year with Minnesota, had what is, lately, a subpar week. However, failing to crack the century mark did not keep Inigo from being selected as a PotW for the sixth time this season.

This week, Montoya had 85 yards rushing in a huge Viking victory, their fifth of the season.

Does it Get Boring???

RB Inigo Montoy, in his 2nd year with Minnesota, was selected as a PotW for the seventh time this year. He is still taking advantage of the season ending injury to Viking starting RB Onterrio Smith, who went down in preseason with an ACL tear.

Montoya 'only' had 81 yards rushing this week, but he had his best game receiving. Inigo caught 7 balls for 57 yards in a tough loss to the Giants.

Finally, an Injury that Helps

New York Jet 3rd year MLB Godzilla Blitz will finally get a week or two to show his stuff. Starting MLB Kendrell Bell, a 3 time All-League ILB, was injured last week against Indianapolis.

Bell is out for 3 weeks with a pulled quad muscle, but is expected back before that. In the meantime, Godzilla can show his stuff. Blitz is in the final year of his rookie contract.

Godzilla Blitz made the most of Smith's injury with a 10 tackle showing. Since he will be a free agent, next year should be better for Godzilla.
