PB, I'd love to, but that's not so much smack talk as gamesmanship. I'm evil, to the core so much that even Satan looks at me and says, "Man, that guy sure is evil", but I am bound by The Code of Evilness.

Perhaps our evil team should concentrate on catching up and demolishing the other team instead of how to use my evilness for the good of evil.

That's true, which is why I actually just deleted it. You are the man though Poli and I'm happy to have you aboard. At the very least, maybe I'll pull you out of the stands and use you as a shield during our next battle.

Cool - I'm guessing this is part of why we are behind in the race. The other teams are not doing as much stuff, for better or worse.

Hopefully the levels we have gained from our slower pace will help us take out tougher stuff down the road that will eat up the other guys and spit them out.

I'm fine with wearing the medallion of evil. I think it suits me.

PB, can you please send the PM that you are passing the amulet and include J23 so he can reply that he is using it? That should satisfy our requirements.

Hopefully that is equally applicable for his spells. At the moment, not all of his are offensive in nature but it may make sense to tilt in that direction going forward.

I'm hoping that next level will allow me a new listing of spells to pick from which may have something more offensive.

I would've gone us or Wang there. I either think something good happens with this one, which damn, OR we might be able to pile on to Big Wang and they can't heal between.

Was hoping to put a hurt on them and knock them back a room, but that was before the attacker turned into an illusion. That was disheartening.

Oh well, we played to evil and hopefully something bad does happen with the others. Otherwise we are giving xp, items, gold, etc to the other team.

I'm disappointed such an evil team as ours didn't push their button immediately. It would have taken me three seconds to push the button, all three seconds would be from having to lift my hand and to make sure I pressed the right button.

Exactly, we played to evil which is very much us. Once I saw you post, I thought "Hell yeah, maybe KWhit will stack bad guys there" so it was worth a shot. Although the thought that there was a reward for voting first, makes me think that ultimately, the votes will go badly for the chosen team.

Alright, I want team 4 NOT to push Big Wang unless good things happen to Big Wang on the third push. I can't assume these are all bad. A couple are probably good.

I understand the concept of the double cross. I liked where you were going with that...however, with the possibility of a bonus to the first team to push the button (I believe K-Dub mentioned that originally) I would have been all over that like Evil on an Evil Sandwich.

The spiders clearly were not evil enough to get the job done.

I suggest that the next evil dropped in be me.

Good news = two teams will have to work on healing soon.

Bad news = those clowns from Deutschbag were too stupid to let the one team be fully KO'd and slide behind us. Just unbelievably stupid.

More bad news = two teams picked up experience. I would like to think we would have done better with those battles with our trio of Level 3 participants. Especially the spiders, who would have been slept and stabbed.

We're ahead of the game currently for XP. This just might let them catch up. Hopefully if they catch up on XP, we catch up on time here.

I'll be interested to see if we make up ground on those teams during the next phase. I would be sorely disappointed if we do not given their clear need to heal.

We just made up 16 seconds on the leaders, so I'm guessing they each used the two healing options that they had. Probably not enough to fully heal them for the next room ... hopefully it is a bloodbath.

Also, with four new people leveling up I'm guessing that we've got both of those teams fully leveled up and Deutschbag running behind on levels and time.

Room 6: The Hallway

A door opens to the right of the 4 buttons. A referee ushers you through. As he does, he says, "You guys rock."

He hands you a small bag with 30gp in it.

"Hurry up!" he says.

You press on.

You rush through and into a hallway.

You follow the arrows.

Travelling along the hall, you see three doors, all on your right.

A sign on Door 1 reads: Lots of experience in here.

A sign on Door 2 reads: Need some supplies?

And the sign on Door 3 is a large Question Mark.

And the hallway continues further on ahead, the arrows still pointing forward along the floor.

Do you open a door and enter one of the rooms? If so, tell me which one.

Or do you continue down the hall?

Looks like we are starting to win the crowd. Always nice to have a ref in the back pocket. If we are in a pinch, we can try to compromise him for future considerations.

I know we are in last, but do any of you think this game is close to ending? If not, then we should be stopping at one of the doors.

Lots of XP probably includes monsters. I would probably duck that one in lieu of the "supplies" or "unknown". Probably supplies, even if that has monsters/guardians as well.

Hoops, I was looking at this a little differently. I was thinking that the supplies thing probably means we are at another dealer table. We have some money, but not a ton (I think you guys have $100 each, I've got $60). There wasn't much there in the 100 range that seemed truly worthwhile but I guess we could pool resources.

I am tempted more tempted to do the question mark, the experience, OR continuing down the hall. Any thought on having J23 cast a discover magic spell here? Could lead us to or away from something. But I guess the problem is if he picks up on magic, do we rush towards it or avoid it.

I'm all about the fight in the experience room. I was thinking differently about it, that it could just be a mass of easy to kill/smaller xp horde of monsters that would let us rack up points.

The question mark is of course tempting to my evil soul.

But all in all, this is a race and if we can by pass and keep going, we might make up time, even if we miss out on some things.

That's just me, kill in the XP room, discover what the question mark is, or continue down the hall.

From Hoops' post and mine, looks like the only one that is similar is trying the unknown room. J23, thoughts?

I see your point on supplies = purchase, and agree that we don't exactly have a mint at this point. However, if that was the case we would be fools not to pool resources for an item of power. That would, naturally, go to me.

PB, I think any of these are reasonable options. There is a good chance I won't be around much today to join in discussion so hopefully you and the slightly-more-evil-now mage can concoct a winning strategy.

Oh, and Hoops, you're the only one that doesn't have some kind of bonus so if it is a dealer, I would say you get first call on what to purchase.

I'd be more inclined to go in the ? room or the supplier room if we're pooling our money to best help my chances of winning. I'm also not against skipping them completely to catch up a bit, though I would hope we're not near the end after only a few rooms.

I think we have a decent amount of XP currently by comparison, and while more would certainly be good, I'm starting to become more concerned with how much time we're spending.
