I'm not sure if we should have DV cast mage armor on me. the elf may be able to cast spells at Darth in the meantime.

Well, a death by you is what we can least afford. After that I'd say Autumn. It really depends on if there is a ranged attacker that could get to you Darth. If there isn't, then armoring up Autumn would be good. If you think you might take damage then you can armor yourself up. I wouldn't armor me up unless we were only facing one enemy.

I lean towards thinking Autumn and I will be the ones taking damage, but it depends on spells of the enemies I guess. They have a staff and dagger, so only melee with their weapons. I'm not sure I see evidence on whether or not they will have spells.

hmm, ok. and we're sure mage armor can only be cast on one person? That dagger is glowing and the staff could shoot stuff out like mine does, it's a tough call. You would rather have autumn right?

Im not sure, but I would guess it could only be cast once per combat per time chosen. Maybe we could do it before combat and then once again in combat, but Kwhit seemed clear that each spell could only be cast once per combat. I think you armor yourself as it's the safest play as like we said, you can't die.

Just a clarification: You can cast as many spells as you want during prep time - but you can't cast the same one 2x (unless you've selected it twice when leveling - make sense?).

However, each spell cast during prep time (or any time in between rooms) eats up time on the clock. Spells cast during combat eat one of your combat turns (and combat turns equal clock time as well).

Blows are trade back and forth. You have to use some healing potions, but eventually a bolt of lightning from DV seals it!

Walter drops to the ground.

Referees quickly come in and take him away before you can loot his unconscious body.

Heal, Magic Missile, Detect Magic, Light, Read Magic, Mage Armor, Fear, Sleep, Web, Identify, Cure Poison

You may choose a spell you already possess which will allow you to cast it 2x per room/combat instead of once.

Awesome. Identify might be useful occasionally. But Web or Sleep are hard to pass up, as well as cure poison.

I'd skip fear, as there may be a fair number of creatures it doesn't work on (such as skeletons). Perhaps the same with sleep, but sleep seems more powerful. Web should be pretty powerful.
