I'm here, and I'm not afraid to make a move late in order to avoid shenanigans

I think an earlier version of the rules did list a cunning which is why I was confused. Given the # of players, I think it was removed.

PB, your deadlines are one minute after, right, not at the time?

Let's not have a clusterfuck at deadline where we have multiple people moving their vote trying to avoid the tie just to cancel each other out, okay?

Eh, I was hoping some of the people on non-leading candidates would come back and make their vote count, but it looks like that won't happen.

KWhit, when henry has been a wolf in these spots he has not stayed the course like he did here.
Three minutes to go, he is obviously under some pressure but is unflinching. I'm not calling it a 100% read, but based on small sample set I feel pretty good about it. |

PRO-DAY, 2010
Pro scouts from all over the country are visiting college campuses everywhere to get more personal workouts from prospects. UCLA is the first campus we visit. And it is here that, surprisingly, we see the best and worst of the day. Darth Vilus puts on a tremendous show, perhaps egged on by the outstanding performance of one of his rivals in the Senior Bowl. Vilus catches anything and everything thrown his way, definitely looking ready for Sundays. On the flip side though, Chief Rum is an extreme disappointment, biggest of the day. There are pictures everywhere of how CR spent the prior night carousing with a sorority girl, a Tri Delt in fact (Need sex? Tri a Delt). When the coaches came to his dorm room, CR wasn't even there. He showed up for the workout with the same clothes from the night before mumbling about "sluts." University of Georgia is next. KWhit puts on a tremendous show, giving glimpses of an arm stronger than anyone previously thought. He hits every throw that is asked of him and does so with authority. Tremendous workout. Champaign, the home of University of Illinois, provides yet another football disappointment. Hoopsguy looks lost on route coverage, getting beat by far less talented players as he works out for the scouts. He even looks a bit clumsy on drop backs and gets outbodied several times. The Jackal, the University of Maryland stud safety, seems surprisingly absent from the field. Scouts look to and for, but see no signs of the player... ...but then he emerges and the masses are surprised. And while people may have tried to keep Jackal down, he has made a case to remain. " I refuse to be drafted by the Seahawks, I will not be #14. Take that safety from New Hampshire instead." In the end, Jackal looks terrific. New Hampshire is the site where the Seahawks make their selection. Autumn is the 14'th overall selection after Jackal duked the vote...And Autumn is THE BODYGUARD. There is other big news coming out of California. Star quarterback Danny has been drafted as well, the 13'th overall selection to the nearby San Francisco 49'ers. Danny was a vanilla villager.

Mel Kiper here, bringing you the Big Board 2.0 at the end of the first day. We've seen a massive shake-up early.
1- The Jackal 2- Abe Sargent 3- Henry 4- Crimson Fox 5- Darth Vilus 6- KWhit 7- Heinz 8- ntndeacon 9- Chief Rum 10- J23 11- Hoopsguy 12- Schmidty |

I hope it is clear, but just in case, at this point when players get "drafted" they are actually deceased. If you don't think it is clear, I'll change the wording in the future.

I suspect I was sabotaged. After getting decent results spending just one point in the Senior Bowl, I aimed high and spent seven points on Pro Day (which was always my intent). Instead, I stunk it up and bad. Sorry, no way a roll of the dice produces that. I strongly suspect I was targeted by one of those abilities PB has mentioned. Also, considering the way I was described at the Pro Day kinda sounds like a sabotage, too. But, whatever, this is just my draft position. The lynch stuff was some serious bad news, and right now, I'm not all that thrilled with The Jackal's decision making.

I moved up a decent number of spots and have spent a good number of points, yet have yet to be included in a write-up
Not a good day of werewolf. I know that we were villager / villager today. I think I'm going to look at someone who didn't vote for Jackal or me today. Scmidty - were you able to get in points for Pro Day?

One quick thing, the noon writeup will be a bit late tomorrow I believe as we do a late start at school, which throws my lunch/plan into a different time. It should be up no later than 1 pm CST. Sorry about the inconvenience.
I will keep the noon deadline though for the sake of continuity. |

This year's NFL Draft just gets more and more interesting with each passing day. We've had a major trade, tales of two players focused more on chasing tail, and now BIG news about Abe Sargent. We're going to go out to Mel Kiper Jr. and Todd McShay to get the scoop here.
Todd M- Thanks Scott. It looks like 'The Leg' or the player better known as Abe Sargent may be hiding an achilles injury. There is some word leaking out of Huntington, West Virginia that he may have strained or maybe even torn his achilles while playing a game of pick-up basketball. He was even reportedly seen sporting a walking boot in his dorm. Mel, how do you think this will effect things? Mel K- This is all just conjecture and rumor. I've been talking to coaches from Marshall and Abe's agent and they say that there is absolutely NO TRUTH WHAT-SO-EVER to this RUMOR. In fact, I find it very interesting that we have no pictures or even witnesses willing to go on record to say that Abe is hurt. I think this is an incredibly careless rumor and the timing couldn't be worse for 'The Leg' as the Combine starts today. The effect here, even though I steadfastly believe this rumor to be just a rumor, is devastating to his draft status right now. Here's my newest Big Board, we'll call it 2.5: 1- The Jackal 2- Henry 3- Crimson Fox 4- Darth Vilus 5- KWhit 6- Abe Sargent 7- Heinz 8- ntndeacon 9- Chief Rum 10- J23 11- Hoopsguy 12- Schmidty |

OK, so we started with 14 players and villagers are now in the following position:
12 remain self cleared Jackal cleared Even if there is no further info provided today, we're starting to creep upwards in chances to just randomly catch a wolf. |

I'll post a vote/unvote chart later this morning to see if that helps at all for yesterday. I think we had two villagers in the heat, but will certainly welcome discussion from others on why we should be making other assumptions.
