That's some post order bug. Rams need just a few more yards.

If it ends in a tie, obviously, just as bad as a loss for St. Louis.

I wouldnt be entirely surprised if any NFC team makes it.. they all have about an equal shot if you ask me.. I was just being bold.. I think the Packers are on a hell of a roll right now, everyone is playing well for them.. On the other hand, every other NFC team (with maybe the Falcons as a slight exception) is struggling or has lost a key player. I just see this as a possible last push for Favre, and the team has the offense to challenge anyone. In the AFC, Pittsburgh has been insane this season, no matter if they are playing their backups the entire game or what.. I dont think anyone can match their depth. The Rams are really trying to kill their fans btw.. Jesus.

Jets win = Rams out, Saints in

Rams win = Rams in, Saints out

and of course they still have a shot at the division title depending upon the Seattle/Atlanta game. But they HAVE to win this game.

Has anyone seen a player fall from Superstar to dud as quickly as Marshall Faulk has?

Pass should be good enough to get Wilkins in to FG territory.

What a bizarre play in Den. Sorgi hits Clark for 20 yds, Lynch drills him drawing a flag. Clark fumbles, Wayne picks it up then fumbles and Den. returns it 50 yds for a TD. The ref. at first picks up the flag, the Colts challenge, the call is reversed to an incompletion and then the ref. enforces the flag. Strange. Glad to see Manning on the sidelines, especially vs Denver.

So, it's Minnesota at Green Bay next week, and St. Louis against Seattle. If Seattle wins today, they have home field advantage next week. If Atlanta wins, St. Louis hosts Seattle.

In the AFC, we know it's the New York Jets at San Diego, and the six spot plays at Indianapolis.

A Seattle loss means:

4. St. Louis
5. Seattle
6. Minnesota

Seattle win:

4. Seattle
5. St. Louis
6. Minnesota

At least as far as I can tell. So it looks like we get Minnesota @ Green Bay, and A St. Louis/Seattle game next week.

thats thirty ONE yards there.. and its good!

St. Louis is in, and Minnesota is in.. Philly, Minnesota, St.Louis, Green Bay, Atlanta, and... who else? Seattle? Ugh. I am still sticking with my Green Bay pick. I don't like them, but they look the best to me right now.

Excellent. Vick has his jacket on now, and Schaub is warming up. Count on a Seattle victory.

Hold that thought. D'Angelo just picked off a pass and took it back all the way. 17-7 Birds.

Draft order stuff....

1. San Francisco (2-14)
2. Miami (4-12)
3. Cleveland (4-12)
4. Arizona (5-10) (if they lose to Tampa Bay)
5. Chicago (5-11) (they could come down to a coin flip for 4th with Tampa Bay if a lot of things happen involving every remaining game).
6. Tampa Bay (5-10) (would really be 5th if they lose, because Arizona would drop out of the 5-11 group).
7. Tennessee (5-11)
8. New York Giants (5-10) (with loss)
9. Oakland (5-10) (with loss - not much question they lose all the 6-10 tiebreakers)

10-12. Dallas (6-9, with loss to New York Giants), Washington (6-10), Detroit (6-10).

I am not sure if Indy wants to see Jax or Bal in the first round. I think Den is the most favourable matchup

Wish they had a rule about playing intra-divisional rivals in the wild card game (do not allow it when possible). However, I can see people complaining that the third place team should get the worse of the two wild-cards, as it is now. In a year like this, though, when the two wild card teams have identical records, does it really matter? Both NFC games next weekend will be third-time matchups this year. Does anyone really want to see those teams play each other again?? Yuck.

P.S. Check out this page at ESPN.com:
hxxp://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=1928367

At the bottom:
---------
Momentum meter

Dolphins: Miami moved into the last wild-card spot with their come-from-behind win over the Redskins and Denver's stunning loss to the Bears. With Jay Fiedler back at QB and Ricky Williams running with authority again, the Dolphins looked poised to earn a playoff spot.
---------

Hmm, think they need to update the entire page a little more often.

You gotta be pissed if you're a Jacksonville fan right now. Under normal circumstances, Denver has no right to be in the game with Indy.

It really isn't fair to Jacksonville or Baltimore, and this is coming from a huge Colts fan. Still though, I would rather play Denver than the above two teams in the first round. I still wish the Colts would have left Manning in until he threw for #50. It just looks more "official", or something.

So if Denver win, then the wildcard games will have two inter-divisional matchups and a mathcup between two teams who played the week before. I'm sorry, but that sucks.

I don't think San Diego is the lock that a lot of people seem to.

Interesting, i've been thinking that for the past 10 weeks, and well........

I think at some point you have to consider that they may be this good. Of course Denver could blow them out next week and shoot my theory to hell, heh.

Yeah, Schaub is running the 2 minute drill well. You wonder how teams like Seattle feel when they have to struggle against the Falcons without Vick .

Although the Jets beat them in SD early this season, granted that was a long time ago and Brees has developed alot since then.
