Dude, Josh Boone of Connecticut is a dead ringer for Sean Penn. If he were black....and had cornrows.

New Mexico is bringing it! They just scored their 5th and 6th point with 8 minutes to go in the half....terrible game to watch.

I agree. Very slow day and a half. Not a single buzzer beater and only 1 last second shot that I can think of. I do think the 2nd round games will be much better but I want ALL of them to be good.

I have to miss most of the 7pm games. Im sure Delaware St. will pull the upset now.

Why are two 5-12 games and a 8-9 game on at the same time at 9:30 tonight?

You would think they could have swapped one of those games for the Louisville or Syracuse games. There are 3 probably blowouts on at 7, only 1 on at 9:30.

Nice to see New Mexico putting up a fight

I'm about ready to simply choose all favorites next year, with the exception of maybe one 5-12. My recent luck has been to pick 5 combined 12, 11 and 10 seeds to win with only two really winning. So, not only do I lose on the three I incorrectly picked for the upset, but also the real upsets I didn't pick.

A guy I know picked only favorites and is currently 15-5, looking like he will be at 19-5 after this next break.

Simmons has started actively ignoring the games, they're that lopsided.

CBS wants a refund.. the first round has been March Sadness..

Come on Delaware State Hornets! I have now jinxed them and Duke will go a 72-3 run to end the game or something.

Dola,

Ok I'm rooting for Delaware State even more now, because every time Delaware State scores, the little bitches on the Duke bench huff and puff and fling their towels in anger. It's like the movie pitting the poor kids versus the rich asshole children, and every time the rich kids get pranked, they stamp their feet. Unbelieveable.

Man, Billy "Fudge" Packer isn't afraid of calling anyone out. This time he happens to be right. I wonder if Coach K is going to change their D. They might be in trouble if they don't.

I had the same thought. But I am definately biased on that issue.

All of that aside, someone needs to give this Delaware State coach and give him a chance with a bigger school. Duke will still win this basketball game because they have too many athletes, but this is one of the best gameplans I've ever seen.

Simply spread Duke out and use their aggressive defense against them. Drive and attack. Drive and attack.

Simply a brilliant gameplan. It isn't going to hold up, but it's been fun to watch.

What a cool strategy Delaware St. uses. Duke will probabably take them apart methodically, but this beats New Mexico's 11 point half.

I remember reading a lot of good things about Vermont. Nice to actually get a chance to see them play and they've impressed me so far.

So much for Delaware St. Very nice first half.

I wish they'd switch back to the Wisky game, because it seems to be tightening up again. I'll just watch the High School tourny until then.

I've also never understood the love affair the media has with Louisville. I think they have to be one of the most over-rated teams out there.

Love affair? nearly every media person hates them for one reason or another.. Bilas because they "stole" his championship ring.. vitale because they aren't duke.. etc etc..

La Laf. runs a similiar offense to uab.. so i KNEW this game was going to be tight

Seriously CBS, WTF? You switch from the Duke game to Vermont. There are people who want to watch the game. I'd watch it online, but your streaming video says that the game is available in my area, so I can't watch it online... well make up your mind, either it is or it isn't. There were 6 minutes left in the Vermont game when you switched... at least wait until there's 2 or 3 left.

Yet, here in Baltimore, we still have the Duke games and there are 3 minutes left in the Syracuse-Vermont game.

I don't hate Louisville, but I'm not going to like them very much if they don't cover I really thought they'd come out playing with a chip on their shoulder after only getting a four seed.

How nervous was that free throw shooter at the end of the game when he airballed that shot?
