I don't understand why Oregon is settling for just one point after these touchdowns. Its Michigan, its ok to run up the score.

In The Bleachers had this Oregon victory pegged a few days ago.

Any by that, I mean that I was the only one of the folks in Operation Pick 'Em to choose Oregon.

With a few minutes left in the 1st half, Dixon is 11 of 14 for 217 yards with 2TD's. I believe he also has 76 yard rushing and 1 rushing TD. Oregon scares me more than any other team on USC's schedule this year, but they are so much fun to watch as long as they aren't playing my team.

The Appy State game doesn't seem like much of an upset anymore.

Has anyone seen a QB regress as fast as Chad Henne has? He has been past the point of awful, though the playcalling surely hasn't helped.

Mike Hart is the man though. I am glad there is someone fighting out there.

I totally understand why Lloyd Carr didn't want to play Hawaii now.

At least as EF has said, Oregon is fun as hell to watch. I love seeing an offense play that way.

Uh oh. Mallett is warming up. Let's bring in the reliever.

An interception return for a TD would be awesome right now.

Went out and did some yard work during the WVU-Marshall game (still waiting to see how that turned out), and come back in to Oregon kicking some but. I love it, because I dislike Michigan as much or more then any college team.

The only shame in this is, as someone said, makes the App. State upset less of an actual upset. Still a bigtime win for them, just not as shocking I guess.

Oh crap, I just chugged two beers after being out in the heat doing yard work, I am buzzing some. And I need to go ride a bike in a bit too. Oh well, back to some college football for a bit.

Damn, just saw WVU pulled away against Marshall. Oh well, they did a decent job hanging in there in the first half I guess.

If I remember right, Troy nearly beat FSU last season. They have a pretty good quarterback in Omar Haugabrook. We'll see.

Washington looks pretty good. If Boise doesn't get it going, the nation's longest winning streak in I-A is over.

As for Michigan, it's always nice to see one of the "Super-Powers" of College Football get absolutely humbled. Sometimes these programs (and their fans) need to realize that it is not a god given right that your team will win 90% of the time.

Although I've fixed it now, it's UAB over FSU. Troy gets Florida later tonight.
I just flat out mixed up my barely D1 Alabama schools & their Sunshine State opponents.

Hey k0, imagine TCU and Hawaii both going 12-0... The MWC and the WAC both in the BCS in the same season? Wow.

You talk about the "Big Six Conferences" turning into whiny little bi_ches. Let this happen.

I remember thinking Mallett looked much better than Claussen in the Army AA game. Were there plans to get him some action this year even if Henne didn't blow?

Yes. He was going to play 4th quarters of blow outs. Now with Henne hurt he gets to play on the other end of a blow out.

It seems like Henne has not improved at all in 4 years. He looked good when he had Braylon Edwards and they won the Big10 his freshman year. How far he(and Michigan) has fallen.

It's hard to believe he was actually hurt. Even the announcer were like, "...it might have happened on this play." I bet Henne had a meltdown at halftime. On another note, I did see Mallett in that all-star game and he was the best QB there IMO.

Florida State is really looking pretty bad. 17-3 UAB early in the second quarter.
