Though admittedly armor probably would've helped during this last fight. I thought about taking taurian as a race when I started, but I figured it wouldn't ramp up well in the middle and end of the game. Looks like it's definitely paying dividends for you at the start at least.

Thomkal had a scroll to let him trade PB. Thom, hopefully your recipe isn't for a weapon since it seems PB's won't let him go.

Other than the fool that attacked my yesterday, most of my battles have been long drawn out affairs-they seem to have high defensive abilities-and then of course the rust monster who rusted my sword to pieces while I was attacking with it. I dropped back to the lighter bricks to get the easy xp I needed to level, and will have to stay there today at least until I can find an exit back to the second level. |

Except for the fact that I've been crystal clear about my lack of trustworthiness. It is on page one of the thread Quote:
It just seems odd that the "Good" character hoards items and deliberately sells items requested by the guy who identifies all the loot that keeps coming to him. I'm waiting for the message from Abe that your alignment has shifted, in order to actually have the thread reflect your actions rather than your pre-game decisions. I think you secretly wish that you had chosen evil, because it is more fun to roleplay. And that's fine, I get it. But since you are supposed to be good how about acting like it and looking out for the well-being of the party rather than making unilateral decisions to sell off items that could help us keep you alive? I had to sell a magic item to afford torches and food - something that I would accept as a cost of doing business if I were playing solo or in a party with evil characters where everyone is out for themselves. I guess I expected "better" of you, and will continue to try and bully you into doing the right thing. Not because I really expect it at this point, but because it pleases me to see you attempt to justify your actions. |

Hi Ragone,
I may need a torch or two. I think we bought a bunch at the D4 Djinn sale right?

Well I have just found a Bow recipe here in this room. Unfortunately its a Bow only Guzak's can use. I wish I had picked Guzak as my race now. Any class can use it as long as you are Guzak.

If JAG wants to put in a standing order to auto-ID PB's items like THe JAckal has done for his party, that's fine

As far as disclosure goes, I'll do some.
I've got my starting gear (chain mail and sword, I believe). I've now got torches/food for a couple of days. I've got enough gold to buy the next round of torches/food when the Djinni shows up again. I've got a ring that provides no value whatsoever to my class. I have no magical weapon or armor, since I had to sell the one I had to eat and see. All of the above statements are 100% true - believe or disbelieve as you see fit. |

I assume that ring wouldn't be useful to the drunken harp either, oh noble one? You can be evil and noble, it's true.

All I'd really like is if you two would let me know if you find a piece of chainmail you don't need or a great staff. Preferably a magical one that causes foes to collapse in fear and awe.

The drunken harp can use daggers and the gladius as well, but what's the fun in that?
