My first play through is with the Broken Lords, the races are definitely interesting to say the least. There are 4 now, with 4 more due by release.

Some others have gone with higher prices to discourage impulse buys to get only people who are interested in testing the game Gerry good feedback rather than a bunch of comments that are, "OMG THIS DOESN'T WORK 111111!!11"

For all the bad early access stories, I think this is a good example of one that was done right. Roughly an eight month early access period and now they're live with a good solid game. I think that schedule is what should be required of all these games if they want to go live on Steam.

Anyone having trouble getting on Steam tonight? Keeps crapping out trying to connect. Hope that doesn't mean another hack.

Tried their website. Can get to main page but anything store or forum related seems to hang up.

I almost bought it a couple of times back then, but I waited...and that turned out to be a good thing. Plus Gnomoria is a far better game.

So maybe I was not up to speed, but I had no idea Valve was working on this game streaming technology they released today.

I was just playing around with it running some intensive games on my laptop. It works much better than I anticipated with zero configuration needed. I haven't read how it works, but it seems your main PC executes/renders the game and converts everything to a video while you are playing, then the video gets streamed to the client system. So you do see some compression and such overlaying your game. But I have to say for a day 1 release I am very impressed, a steam machine did not appeal to me before, but now I can absolutely see myself picking one up.

Eh, I bought Towns fairly cheap, checked it out, got my money's worth, and moved on. It was *okay*, but not all that great.

Hmm, I literally didn't do more than that. Saw the notice for it on my PC, powered up my laptop and when steam started got a notice that streaming was enabled, launched a game and it just worked. If you have it installed locally it will use that instead of a stream, otherwise it will stream it.

Same for me it was literally as easy as running steam on both PC's and everything auto connected.. The best feature for me, is it will also stream non-steam games that you have added to your steam account.... awesome

My laptop is connected to the TV via HDMI, but my game is streaming from my main gaming PC to my laptop wirelessly. Obviously if your main gaming PC is next to your TV, you don't need to do this .

What do you need? One of us could just pick it up for you and gift it.

Or can you login via the web and get your home-country prices?

Thanks. It will probably roll around again whenever the summer sale begins. If this is the only sacrifice to stay in France it's well worth it.

Endless Legend has reached Beta!
  • Two new playable major factions: the Ardent Mages and the Roving Clans
  • Multiplayer mode with up to six players out of eight in the final game
  • Enhanced Battle system (Battle Pace / City Militia / Moral Boost / Upgraded Deployment)
  • Ships and Harbours, you can now go explore and colonise the world beyond the ocean!
  • Addition of Roads and Trade Routes
  • Improved Diplomacy: new Diplomatic Treaties, AI diplomatic behaviour, Counter Proposal option
  • Addition of Privateers: mercenaries bought in the marketplace who can attack anyone without revealing exactly whose side they are on…
Time to start a new game.. think I'll go with the Wild Walkers this time for some ranged units.

I just finished Wolfenstein: The New Order. If I had to vote now, that's my game of the year. Sensational. I was a little disappointed by the final boss fight and ending, but it was great all the same. Great enough that if the same team makes a sequel like they want, I'll buy it full price on day 1.

Think I'll slide into Metro Last Light now. Then I need to clean up some old games I haven't finished or put enough time into. I still need to beat the witcher 2. I need to beat all the Borderlands 2 DLC. Sleeping Dogs needs a good run. I want to wipe out a lot of my need/want to play list this summer.

Just finished Wolfenstein today as well. Fun game! Agree on the final boss being somewhat of a let-down, but all in all, a good romp.

I watched a seven hour full walkthrough last night and thought it was fantastic, one of the best stories for a FPS. I, too, was disappointed in the ending but I guess we'll see about the sequel.

I've done that with a lot of games that I wouldn't actually play (GTA5, BtS, SR4, etc.). I don't watch TV so this is my passive entertainment. All of the walkthroughs I've watched come from one YouTube channel - theRadBrad.
