I don't understand how Jim Leyland is still managing the Tigers. The underachieving by this team has to be placed on the manager's shoulders.

Tigers need a change.

They were overrated because they have 3 superstars. They might need a change anyway, but this team was only considered great because their division sucks and they ran away with it last year.

I think they thought they could slug their way through a season, but their infield defense is god awful.

With another three game road sweep of an AL team are the Nats the most exciting team in MLB?

I have been disappointed in the starting pitching. However, I still think Leyland's time has run out in Detroit. I never liked him before his time in Detroit and this stint has not changed my mind.

Giants lead 10-0 in the 6th over the Astros, but Matt Cain is keeping it exciting.

you will probably never see a pitcher want his team to go 3 up 3 down more than Cain does right now

Funny thing is that in the Mets-Rays game earlier today, the 1 hit given up by R.A. Dickey should have been scored an error (which, of course, would have given him a no-hitter).

Anxiously awaiting the 9th!

With the command Dickey has had with the knuckleball I wouldn't be surprised to see him through a no no this year.

Congrats to Cain, seems like a really good dude.

The third baseman look so nervous fielding the ball.

That was a pretty tough play at third to end it, the mlb.com live look-in hiccuped for just a second & I was afraid the throw was late

I went to yesterday's game, when Bumgarner struck out 12 and hit the first HR for a Giants hitter at home in 18 games. Who knew that would be only the second best performance!

Cain was ready, willing and Abel.

Amazing, team with the most errors gets a perfect game. Good stuff.

His ability to throw it at varying speeds is really amazing. I hope he keeps it up so we can legitimately talk about a knuckleballer for the Cy Young.

The Mets screwed up not signing him to an extension earlier; I'd be really surprised if he slows down any time soon.

So the Mets are going to appeal the call of the one hit the Rays got claiming it should have been scored an error.

As a Mets fan I would obviously love for Dickey to get a no no. On the flip side I think they should likely just let it be given the Beltran play.

I am so happy that MLB did not give me the option to watch the perfect game. The game was not available on FSN or FSN+ (Rangers and Cardinals, respectively). However, because the Astros are a "home team" in the Tulsa market, there was no MLB.TV availability.

This really needs to get fixed. If the game is available on TV, that's one thing and I don't care if I can't watch it through the internet. But, if the game is not even on TV, I think it should be available.

Well MLB Network and ESPN2 had a "live look in" the last few innings.
