Not exactly. When I voted it was a choice between SnDvls and Jackyl. I decided that SnDvls has struck me as less wolfy than Jackyl. When Mr. W suddenly changed his vote, I decided to switch to you to make my statement. Presumably SnDvls saw my switch and voted to create the tie.

I hadn't really been firm on voting for The Jackal in the first place. My reason for voting him was exactly what I said it was: I wanted some pressure on the SnDvls-Jackal duo. I was also a little concerned by the lack of any counter action to the lay of the land at the time I flipped. I was planning to do something like that for some time, although I waffled on whether I actually wanted to go through with it or not.

That depends on how you feel about Barkeep. I think that there are two wolves left, and if you're a villager, you'd have to think that at least one lies in that group (and probably both unless there's been a conversion). Personally, I'm leaning positive on Barkeep but not completely sold.

I'm not at all sold on the idea of a conversion considering there's been no night with-out a kill, which is pretty standard tradeoff for having a conversion.

I'd agree with that. A silent conversion means that our CoT could mean jack. So I'm rooting for no conversion cause I'd like to win this game.

I meant that the wolves (however many left) lie in that group. But then I read it again, and of course. They're the only ones left out of the COT.

I don't know how it works with a conversion. If you guys think that's not possible, then I guess that's the case.

What if olie lied about one of her scans? Mau said he did it, I bet wolves have done it.. I'm pretty sure the COT is secure, but she died before she could really get into the conversation about her scans.

She wouldn't have had much reason to lie, no, unless she was suspecting someone in particular.

That's true too. What if there was a role that scanned good until they were converted? I know I've had those roles in games I've run before, and clearly we weren't informed about what kind of roles would be in this one.

Today reminds you of the old west. A showdown, students and wolves, each realizing the importance of every passing day. The conversation is terse but meaningful, and at the end of deliberations there is a tie between MikeVic and SnDvls. mauboy1 starts talking about breaking the tie, but is being shouted down. Finally MikeVic stands up, and pulls out an envelope.

"I have here a note from Mr. Edward saying that because of my test scores that I'm too important to lose." You groan inwardly, remembering all the times MikeVic stood up Friday afternoon to remind the professor to assign the homework, in this exact same kind of voice. "It's like, I know who should be lynched tonight, and it is SnDvls. Go ahead, check this note out. It's genuine." (He pronounced it gen - u - whine. You'd rather lynch him.) However, you are students, and the note is official. So SnDvls has the noose put around his neck and is hoisted..............

SLAM! Mr. Edward bursts into the room. "STOP!!!!"

You realize you haven't seen him for days. He looks a mess and reeks of old alcohol. SnDvls continues to kick and strangle above your head.

I SAID STOP!!!! DROP THE ROPE!!!!

The rope releases and SnDvls crashes to the floor. Mr. Edward rushes over to him, loosening the noose. "Are you all right?" he asks Sn, who is busy coughing and vomiting, an angry red rash around his neck.

Everyone at once is yelling something along the lines of "What the heck?" Mr. Edward holds up his hand for silence.

"Years ago, Mr. Felix forsaw trouble from the local wolves. He took a young boy, whose parents had been tragically killed, and groomed him to infiltrate the local wolf den." He points at the wheezing SnDvls. "This is that boy." He is a student, but has lived to this point as a wolf. He will be able to tell us who the wolves are!"

SnDvls looks oddly at Mr. Edward. "Who are you?" He looks around the room. "Who are all of you? What is this place?"

Mr. Edward looks crestfallen. "The trauma of the lynch must have given him amnesia. He needs care."

MIKEVIC, THE KNOW-IT-ALL, SWUNG THE VOTE TO SNDVLS.

SNDVLS, A WOLF SPY, HAS BEEN CONVERTED TO A STUDENT. NIGHT 7 IS UNDERWAY. ORDERS ARE DUE BY 1PM EST TONIGHT.

I was going to change up the tying vote as well but decided against it but it was too late for me to cancel(despite doing it before 8pm). But it worked out perfectly it seems.
