+1

I remember meeting this guy in the dog park. He had a young pitbull pup. The dog wasn't nuetered. We were talking about the dog in general and the breed and I mentioned that neutering a dog was one way to help cut down on possible agression. He said yeah and that he had thought about it, but didn't want to have his dog's balls removed because it would make the dog "less manly" or "masculine" or some nonsense like that. Essentially, he didn't want a "pussy" dog. So, yeah, I'm sure that pitbull turned out just fine...

Had to get my license renewed the other day. Got it back and looked at the picture. I am starting to get noticeable receding hairline. Gettling older sucks.

I know. I looked at some pics from 3 years back and thought "WOW! My beard is really dark!" then it hit me that it's not how dark it was, it's how gray it IS.

I've been friends with an ex for a few years & things have been cool. Last night she reminded me why the last few months of the relationship I never talked to her about anything.

It's amazing how an ex has a way of reminding you why they are an ex.

I am incapable of speaking coherently to natural blondes. Brunettes and redheads, no problem. Blondes, I'm in the tank. I'm a rather visible person at my company, so many people around here are familiar with me and know a lot about me, even if I've never had a one-on-one conversation with them. One young blonde woman ran into me in the cafeteria about a month ago and begged me to visit her desk and say hello sometime. I finally worked up the nerve to do that today, and I'm not sure exactly what I said, but I think it came out sounding like "hurf flurf" and I said something about how I wanted to be a Care Bear when I was a child. The five-minute conversation ended with her looking at me quizzically while she likely wondered why the hell she asked me to talk to her in the first place.

The strange part is that she'll probably beg me to try again before Christmas. I can't help being awesome.

I'm not bashful about criticizing judges & often believe that our legal/judicial system is in serious need of a major overhaul. That said, my sense of this is that the judge acted in a way that might well be a model. She can't undo the horrible results but I applaud her efforts to apply some measure of justice ... and that's worth some recognition in this day & age.

I don't understand why people would want to expend an hour or two of their day to save a few bucks. Case in point, I sold an item for $15 and the guy was local. Shipping was $5 and he wanted to drive to my place to pick it up which would be about 45-50 minutes round trip. Considering that you will waste an hour of your day and around $3 in gas anyways doesn't make alot of sense.

There was one person that wanted to drive 1 1/2 hours one way and shipping was $15. I guess some people don't value their time that much or just don't do a good job of putting a value on their time.

I consider myself a really open person regarding movies, know how to separate fantasy from reality and don't get scandalized by pron at all, but today i had too much.

Just read first by accident and later out of curiosity about the polemic sexually depravity and horror movie "A Serbian film" and i shouldn't. It includes all kind of depravaty you can imagine and way way worse, related to pron, killing, torture, etc.

I'm really sick in my stomach right now just from reading about it and the scenes descriptions, so i can't ever imagine watching it, in fact i'm not sure if it should be allowed at any cinema (it has been already removed from some films festivals by the local authorities like in San Sebastian, Spain, that is why i just read about it). The script writer and director must have a really sick brain to even write about it.

The sad part is that now some of you will feel tempted to google it out of curiosity as i did, i guess at the end the director got the free advertisement he was looking for.

The best part of the movie is at the very end when the guys look at the director of the movie and ask “What the hell do you call that?” and he replies, “It’s called The Aristocrats!”

Final week of the HSFB regular season in Georgia, while some fight for playoff berths, we have a pretty meaningless non-region game tonight on the road. Athens Academy (8-1) beat Oglethorpe County (0-9) fairly easily in week 2, likely to try to do it again with mostly the backups & JV players as the starters get to rest & heal before we host the 1st round of the playoffs next week.

Still, you can support the hard working students behind the webcast by watching tonight at
Spartans Webcast

Pre-game starts at 715, pbp at 730p

My alma mater currently has the longest current win streak in Texas high school football at 28 games. At the homecoming game a couple of weeks ago, they scored 5 TDs out of the first 6 times they touched the ball.

Reading a few articles saying Duke is the team to beat this year. Kyrie Irving looks really good. Did anyone in college basketball improve enough to prevent a Blue Devil repeat? Repeats are scarce anymore. I don't see them repeating, but I am very excited for this season. I haven't been this excited for Duke basketball since Redick went pro.
